I had to create the Yelp page for this place myself, which should tell you it's brand new, only about a month old. When I mentioned to the cashier that their website doesn't really work or show the menu, I was met with a shrug. Not the most confidence-inspiring welcome. We ordered the Arabic platter way with beef and lamb, which sounds grand but spoiler alert: it's not a platter. What you actually get is a wrap that's been cut into pieces and served with fries. For a total of over $18 (including tax and tip), it felt overpriced. My husband and I split it, and I was still hungry afterward. Now, credit where it's due -- the wrap itself was quite tasty. Well-seasoned, flavorful, and nicely grilled. But the portion was small for the cost, and at that price point, it's hard to justify unless they beef up the offering. Pun intended. There seems to be a Mediterranean boost here on Macarther, there is the gyro place next to the gas station in almost the same strip mall, and a new place called Falafel Way about to open on the same side of the street just past Beltline. I Like the competition!

He was personable, helpful, and attentive throughout our meal. We were excited for him becoming a first time uncle a couple hours before our meal. Started with an iced tea, which was fresh brewed, and some fried green tomatoes. They only hiccup for us was it seemed like they were served with white tartar sauce, instead of remoulade sauce. The fried green tomatoes were very lightly battered and perfectly fried. Delicious! My wife liked the tartar sauce, but I was disappointed. You don't find pickle chunks in remoulade sauce. For our entrées, she had the Reuben and fries, and I had the fried chicken strips and waffle (also came with fried eggs). Both were really good; huge portions we could not finish.

He would always come back and check on us just to make sure everything was going well. His customer service skills were top notch! Especially now of days it's hard to find good customer service. I ordered the steak and egg hash, and we also shared an order of fried green tomatoes. Everything came out fast and didn't take long at all. On my entree there was a lot of the salad dressing and potatoes that was overpowering, but the steak and eggs were pretty delicious. Wish there was a location closer to where I live!

Since we were craving ramen, we stumbled upon Rakkan Ramen, and I'm glad we did! The restaurant is located in a very swanky and beautiful area. The inside is elegant, well organized, spotless, and so clean you almost feel guilty leaving footprints. As luck would have it, we accidentally entered through the rear entrance and confidently walked right up to the counter as if we knew exactly what we were doing. We were warmly greeted by Ms. Emily and Ms. Jaime, who were both serving as hostess and waitress. Emily escorted us to a comfortable booth and quickly brought us glasses of water, making us feel right at home. We started with the five-piece Chicken Karaage served with arugula and a slice of lemon for $9.50. The chicken was wonderfully crispy, which I really enjoyed. I squeezed that lemon over every piece, hoping for a little extra magic. While the texture was excellent, I thought the chicken itself could have used a bit more seasoning. For our main course, my daughter ordered the Quartz Ramen with chicken and a boiled egg. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, with fresh vegetables that made every bite enjoyable. I ordered the Garnet Ramen, which was just as delicious, with flavorful broth, chicken, vegetables, and a boiled egg. Both bowls were $17, and while they were absolutely tasty, I couldn't help but wish they had been a little more generous with the noodles. I guess they wanted to leave us wanting more! Overall, this place is truly awesome, and you can bet I'll be back--even if I have to go by myself! One little heads-up: finding a parking spot might test your patience, but the walk gives you a chance to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, so it's not a bad trade-off. I hope to see you there!

I got the Sushi Flight that has smoked salmon, salmon, scallop and shrimp and it was amazing! My family ordered their ramen and said it tasted pretty well. The only con was that the server didn't set down any of our food. She would hand it to us as if it was our duty to place it down even when she had the space. Holding really hot bowls and passing it down to my family members where there were much space to put the bowls and plates down in front of us made me upset knowing I was with older adults whom cannot take the steaming ramen bowls.

We went into today and we were told that the pizza oven had been down for more than a month. They did know when it would be fixed. That was a bummer because I loved their pizza. We ordered sandwiches and soups. They had tasted much better in the past. We also asked for water. On the way to our table, I just added a splash of lemonade to my water. After sitting down, the cashier awkwardly came to our table and asked that I return to the register and pay for the drink. I did because I was in the wrong. I also understood the cashier's predicament because the manager was eyeing everything behind the food line without any attempt at verbal communication. We were the only customers in the place. I returned to the register and paid for the drink. I probably won't return to this location. I am hoping the other locations are better run than the Irving location.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about "middle of the road", not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... And if ya gotta ask, YES......all that food pics I took, I actually ate all that food. I swear when I got back to the hotel, I was in total kanak attack (Hawaiian Paralysis). Lol!
