I decided to contact company as they were open to my input, however, they were only able to give me a $20.00 dollar discount. So now I pay $334.75 that started in December. Gee that's still a $95.75 increase. Even the rental markets for apartments only go up 10%. I do not recommend this company as I still feel like they gouged me and took advantage. I was able to see less cost for similar storage than current pricing before I decided on Secure Space and I hope all company's don't do this. If I had known they would do this I would have chosen another, closer to me, storage unit. I feel like I'm locked in as getting stuff to storage was costly and to remove it will be also, so I guess I'm stuck. Customer service through company office is not consistent and what reflected at office is not always same as talking and securing on line. One has to follow up to guarantee pricing. I will compliment the office staff as they are sympathetic, helpful and personal and units appear secure. I'm not sure these 2 benefits are worth the $98.00 monthly increase. I do plan on getting my things removed ASAP but that's dependent on circumstances currently waiting upon. I can't wait to vacate and save $100. Per month. Ask questions and get contacts in writing and do not assume they will be careful with you through honesty and pricing.

My issue is the rat droppings and the DEAD. RAT. I found inside my storage unit. I was so disgusted, I didn't even bothering cleaning it out. Thankfully the property manager gave me gloves and a face mask so I had protection, but it's still so disgusting and so incredibly unsafe. There are so many diseases and infections you can catch from rodent droppings and a freaking rodent carcass. And I'm still being charged $80 after I moved out on top of it! Keep in my mind i pay my storage fee over everymonth by $70 or $100. Just incase something like this happens . In the 15 plus years ive been there ive been a good customer . Im always on time but the one time and that was 10years ago .. ive never complained about anything even after my unit was broke in to 3 years ago and my door still isn't fixed properly. Its a decent place to rent . Just seems like there new staff is lazy or in to big of hurry to get home instead of taking there customers payments . I am usually reserved about giving a business 5 stars. However, by the end of this review you will…read moreunderstand why I gave Arm Guard Self Storage 5 stars. Arm Guard Self Storage Pro's: 1. Security. The facility has camera's everywhere. Each storage unit has an alarm and inputting your code at the front gate disables that alarm for your unit. The Alarm is enabled once your code is entered from the inside of the facility. There was one incident where a person was found living in one of the storage units. He gained access to the unit through the back of the storage (which is why the storage alarm wasn't tripped). However, he was caught because as police tried to get him, he tried gaining access to another storage unit to flee fortunately, that storage unit was full and he got trapped. One last comment, there is someone who lives on the facility. 2. The staff is very friendly. As a Service Member in the US Army, I am not new to the storage scene. Living in El Paso, Texas, I was required to have a storage upon receiving orders to deploy to Iraq back in 2009. The storage unit was subpar but I didn't care. I just wanted a cheap storage unit with a location close enough to walk. During my deployment I found out that that particular storage unit didn't receive a payment. Immediately, they starting auctioning my stuff. It's a good thing I had my brother as an emergency contact. This little story brings me to the Arm Guard Self Storage. After I explained to them why I was very particular about getting a storage due to my previous experience, they informed me that auctioning my stuff would be illegal. They were also very informative about informing me that the man who was living in the storage unit near mine tried gaining access to my unit. 3. Autopayment. I love autopayment because I don't have to worry about going to the storage to pay my monthly fee or sending in a check via snail mail. 4. Front gate is self explanatory. The front gate has a access code key pad on the left side that gets you in and diables the alarm. 5. Access hours. The hours to enter the facility are 5:00AM - 11:00PM. The hours ensure that the facility is completely locked down outside access hours. Its another extra security. 6. Lights. Each storage unit has lights. It's really awesome to see what your trying to get. Overall, I would definitely recommend this storage unit. I left for Afghanistan, came back and didn't have any issues.

They assured me they would have one ready. When I didn't arrive at exactly the scheduled time, I received a phone call from U-Haul asking when I would be there (if i had truly forgotten, this would have been a lifesaver). Upon arrival, the Express Storage Staff was helpful and friendly. They had the trailer ready to go and made the process of checking in simple and easy. When I pulled in to return the trailer, they ran out to assist me putting the trailer back and got me out of there quickly. In short, they made the process simple and easy and respected my time so I would strongly recommend them again!
