The problem with this is that I never opened a storage unit with their business. I informed their representatives of this on four separate occasions and yet I still recieved calls. Their hours are subject to change without notice and they have several incompetent representatives who are unable to make notes in files or relay information about services. So, Where do I begin; When I first signed up, the staff was amazing, answered any questions that I…read morehad right; My Unit was on Auto pay so had not been there in awhile, the Staff changed out and they switched to having a 7-8foot tall Version of an IPHONE in the office (AI) where now the staff A lady, would not even acknowledge me when I asked her a couple simple questions, and she walked that line of being rude and smart....telling me all questions about your account must go through the AI system....not only do I not which to use AI, but there was no privacy, all of your account information discussed will be heard by all that are in the office around you....like Do I really want the world to hear my name, phone number and unit number.......so I walked out, went home and conducted my business over my computer.....fast forward now I receive a text saying that they have slapped their locks on all the storage units and now we must pay 9 dollars a month rent to cover the locks...so I go up to the Unit, and the staff could not even tell me the combination to those locks.....you must now call another 800 number........I went back and cleared out my belongings and moved to another storage company that charge me less for the same amount of storage i was used too.....I actually was a member years ago, however they were booked up......now I'm back and loving the cheaper rates and using my own lock to secure my belongings.......I normally don't wish anything on anyone, but I am sure that staff member probably has lost her job by now because I didn't not see her there...... Almost forgot.......at some point I maybe thought this was mostly in my head, then I ran into another unit owner that was packing up as well for some of the same reasons........so there you have it.......best of luck to you guys with this company.

I had a unit with the Extra Space Storage on 108 Skateway Dr. in Fayetteville, NC. I didn't have…read moreany issues before but after I got robbed from unit I no longer use them and wouldn't advise anyone to use them. To give some context, I had my unit for over a year and had went by there to put a few things inside it. I had things from mychildhood and collectibles that were irreplaceable. I didn't secure the lock on my unit and I was notified but I live an hr outside of Fayetteville. I got to my unit a few days later and saw that it had been robbed. At least $3000 worth of things were taken. I called the police and did the necessary steps to report it. I filed a claim and was told because the unit was not 'forcefully' broken into there was nothing they would reimburse me for. Therefore I could not get paid back for anything that was stolen. I moved my remaining belongings out soon after that. I have been in contact with the detective over my case and he informed that this has happened 15 separate times at that same faculty. He had advised that I moved my things out (to which I already had) and that no one should use that faculty at all. This is in contrast to the manager I spoke with the day I discovered my things were gone, she said that this almost never happens. I am sharing this to let others know and to hopefully prevent anyone from having to go through this. DO NOT use the Extra Space Storage on 108 Skateway Dr, Fayetteville NC. They have allowed 16 people to get robbed out of their units and their company will not reimburse you for the things you held dear being taken from a place where there is supposed to be secure. On top of that, they raise the rates higher every other month, my bill started at $87 then was raised to $158 before being lowered to $123 then being raised again (after my things were stolen) to $166. Please be mindful of the place you chose to use and don't use them.

We recently used Andy Anderson to move based on good reviews we had read online and they were not…read moreworth the cost. The crew was nice and nothing was broken. However, they were horribly inefficient. It took a four man crew twice as long to move us out of the apartment as it had taken a 2 man crew to move us into the apartment with the same amount of stuff. Also, we had some bags with personal items in a corner that we said we would move ourselves. They insisted multiple times they needed the bags to use as filler in the truck, and when we finally said ok it took extra time for them to use an unnecessary amount of tape on the bags. Furthermore, we had a couch in the bedroom and this crew could not figure out how to move my couch without taking the bedroom door off its hinges- the whole process took an hour, which was problematic as we were paying $225 an hour. That couch has been through six moves with me- 2 of those times I personally moved with the help of an older uncle and it has never taken an hour to move because it's not a terribly heavy couch. In addition to the inefficiencies, we still have bookshelves, a glass insert, and a remote control that they packed up missing. Lastly, I had several boxes marked fragile in big, bold letters and the crew stacked heavy boxes on top of my fragile items.
