(But rental companies do, weird.) But normally they do rent the trucks out so no signage will be changed. Right after he tells me they haven't rented out trucks for 9 months. Misleading signage for 9+ months make so much sense. The situation is more understandable in itself but the attitude this "manager" had is pretty poor for business.

All the details of our move were explained to the woman who took our reservation. Two days prior to our move, a gentleman called to confirm and told us that he did not have " good notes" and we were then informed we would need another mover and more time as well as a 15% gas fee we weren't aware of, which increased our price. We weren't happy but at that point it was too late to try to find another company. We were able to negotiate dropping the gas fee as we were not told that originally. When it came time to pay, there were additional fees (ie supplies like tape and blankets) that were on the bill. Again, this was not disclosed when making the reservation though we asked. Now, we do have positive things to say. Our movers, Gideon and Fred, were AMAZING!! They asked questions, were careful, worked hard, and had great customer service. Honestly, those two were the highlight of our move. They did so much work for us and we can't thank them enough. We would hire those two to help me move any day!! My advice to anyone who is moving, ask lots of questions and ask for a quote in writing.

When I called and asked why the $657 quote became $1000 after explicitly told the booking agent I did not want it to be a different story on site. When I spoke to the dispatcher of course there were a thousand excuses none of which matched the movers explanations. They touched pieces two and three time unnecessarily and I started moving boxes myself because they just left thins in the hallway rather than moving it inside. Never again!!! Beware! Last year I had to move overseas came back 6 months later and they still continue to be so kind and generous. Everyone was so patient, and extremely helpful from start to finish. The GM stood out in particular--not only managing the location but actively working, moving, and helping customers directly. You don't see many general managers who stay that hands-on, constantly moving, helping, and going the extra mile like he does. The staff were also supportive and willing to assist in every way possible. Moving and organizing storage can be stressful, but they made the entire process feel smooth, easy, and well taken care of. I've always found the staff to be very helpful, especially those who help to link up my SUV to the trailer and then unhook it upon return. I think this location is easy in and easy out, which I also like and appreciate. I've frequently done same day rentals with no problem. This is always the location I select when picking up a trailer (except on the rare occasion the size I need is only available at another location).
