Although they got okay prices and Destiny who helped me out when I first got my storage unit was great, I will be grabbing my stuff and going somewhere else. I called on 5/25/24 around 4:45pm and told the girl or lady that was there during that shift that I would be getting to the office at 5:20pm and that once I got there I asked her if I could get a storage unit and move my stuff in there and she said that no, 40 mins wouldn't be enough time to complete the paper work and transaction, I don't get it', its simple paper work it's not a background check, we get it we get Monday off and people are trying to enjoy their memorial weekend off but she could of just been straight up and said "hey look man I'm just trying to go home" and that's it I would of respected that way more instead of her lie that 40 mins wasn't enough to complete the transaction . Why say open till 6pm if you stop servicing the public at 5. Plus you're not the only one who works Saturdays, I work everyday Saturday girl , cry me a river. Anyways I went to American mini storage got there at 5:25pm and they close at the same time as StorAmerica 6pm. The older man there went above and beyond to help me out, we tried some unit and my stuff didn't fit in there so I tried to disassemble my stuff and didn't have tools for it and he went and grabbed me tools, and when that didn't work, we went back to the office and did the process again for another unit, I brought all my stuff out the original unit and put It in the new one and guess what time I got out of there? 5:50 pm. Just shows you the different type of workers we got, we got employees like the one at StorAmerica who only do the bare minimum and we got employees like the one at American Mini Storage who go above and beyond to help people out. Again tomorrow 5/26/24 I'll be going to grab all my stuff out of there as I feel like they don't deserve my business and I get it, I'm a nobody and this review is hella long but whatever I'll be out of there and that's it. I've had my unit for about a year now and I have never had such a professional experience time after time again when I go. The units are clean and the whole building is well managed. Julie is probably who you will see the most there, she's amazing and remembers the smallest of details. I was going through some things and had to change my visa number, she worked with me in so many ways and sent out reminders to me so I wouldn't forget to come in when I had a chance (or call) to set up my new card. The facility is very nice and clean. They have an easy access show room with models of the various sizes of storage which made it easy to view and decide what size was appropriate for me. The staff is also very friendly. They we're up front about everything Rates, options, insurance so on so fourth. The gate hours are great too easy access in and out. I would recommend anyone who needs storage this location. read more
