DO NOT STORE STUFF HERE!!! It appears they potentially violated California laws regarding price gouging and rate increases, as they increased my monthly rate close to 30% without notice and during a time when storage operators are supposed to be forbidden from doing so (wildfire 2025 laws). I have been a customer since 2019 and their predatory price increases without notice have left me shocked. Do not store stuff here, unless you want random increases that are double or triple of competitor rates. Even their own internal rates. read more

Have been a customer for over 3 years. Never late on a payment. Today I received a $50.00 rate increase. That's the third increase of more than 20% I have received. It's inconceivable to me that the costs of operating storage facilities have increased such that a 65% increase is warranted. I can go online today and pay $132 for the same unit CubeSmart is gouging me for $279. Much like cable companies and others, it's screw your long term customers. Unfortunately unlike switching cable companies, it isn't easy to change storage companies. CubeSmart knows this and takes advantage of that fact. The Branch Manager was of no help at all. Sorry sir there's nothing I an do,, it's company policy. The Temecula is very nice, no problems there. If you only need a short term rental it's a fine place. If you know you are going to need a longer term rental, over a year, I would definitely shop elsewhere. With CubeSmart you are definitely going to get screwed big time. You are going to subsidize new customers. read more

We've had storage here for over a year and the rates kept going up and up and up. We decided to consolidate our 2 units into 1 for a better price. They were offering 40% off and first month free. Once we arrived they tried to give us 2 10x10 units when we requested a 10x20. I asked them to change the unit and asked if it would be more money or they would be able to honor the website price. The manager, Brandon, said "no problem, I can do that". Well, he lied. He claims he never said that, even though I have 2 witnesses. They are liars, so if you choose to use them, make sure you read your contract and don't take their verbal word for it cause they won't honor it. Also, Brandon states he is not there to make sales, nice thing to tell a customer. read more

I spoke the manager today and was informed that Cube Smart could increase their rate without advanced notice. Either Cube Smart has changed it's policy about not informing its customers about rate changes before it takes effect (my rate is not due to increase until Aug 2022 and I have yet to receive a notification stating there's an increase), or someone has lied to me. Previous managers have inform me in the past that if I were to make advanced payment before rate changes occur, I could lock in my current rate, which was not honored when I attempt to make my payment recently. So I had a bad breakup and had to move my whole life out , the girls at Cubesmart were so sweet and helpful , with my move in and 2 weeks later when I found a new place to live , they helped me so much , they let me use the moving truck and were so so helpful with everything , especially Leslie ... Just got my storage unit today. The process is so simple and easy. I already had reserved the unit online so all I had to do was go into the office and sign a few things. Kristy made the process so easy! I walked in and was greeted with a smile, they looked up on the computer what unit I reserved and then took me to the unit. The units are very clean and the hallways are very spacious so it looks like it's going to be easy to get our stuff in there. After I saw the unit we went back to the office where I signed a few papers and was given the keys. Overall very happy with the whole experience. Easy 5 stars! read more

I have been a customer since August 2016, and I have used many storage facilities throughout my 20-year career in the Marine Corps, as well as 20 years of moving from coast-to-coast as contractor for the US government. This CubeSmart facility, as well as the people that comprised the office staff, is perhaps one of the best, if not the best in the industry. Before renting, I looked at several self-storage facilities in the area, including two CubeSmart facilities. I choose this one because of the friendly, professional staff at the office. I would go to the office anytime of the day and I am always greeted with a hearty HELLO and 'may I help you' greeting. It is an absolute joy to work with these CubeSmart folks because they are always ready to help. I commend everyone of them for a job well done. read more

The ladies working in the front and friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and provided additional assistance selecting suitable added moving stuff (e.g. Mattress covers, couch covers and tape). When storage is just storage like everywhere else, good customer service is nice. I was shown the unit I reserved and given some other options in case the one I selected isn't big enough. I took a chance since it had one star but I'm pleased. Plus...it is a great location off of the freeway going the opposite way of the congestion. read more

Be very careful when signing the contract here! I notice on the site that they have slashed the prices to get you in but be very careful because they will raise your unit space each adjustment period. It gets worse the longer you are there. An increase by as much as 30% to 40% each time for me. And they don't budge. Nice staff up front but very expensive. I will be leaving soon since I can no longer afford their rising rates. read more

This is my second time renting from this location. Same great, clean spaces and same great staff. Highly recommend. It's also a great location, right off freeway! The manager was rude from the start. They have a sign out side that says first month free but when you go in its only half off first month. I had brought that to the attention of the manager and she said it says at the bottom of the sign see manager for details witch is super small and can't read it unless you walk up to the sign. So they are tricking you to go in. When we asked why you have a sign outside that says frist month free but there is no frist month free she was rude and said thats why it says see manager for details. Witch in my opinion is totally baiting and switch! Also we accidentally made 2 reservations online for a unit and she brought it up like 3 times like it matters. The actual storage facility is nice. Just bull that they put a sign out front with first month free and in the smallest print it says see manager for details. They need to remove that sign from the front completely bull to trick and then be rude about it when we bring up the fact there is no first month free at all for anything. Also they trick you again!! When i made the reservation online it said 74 dollars to move in today but then when you sign the paperwork they make you buy insurance so it wasnt 74 witch it said thats what it was! So basically this place totally is bullshit read more

The storage managers are always very helpful and friendly at this CubeMart. Going out of their way to help. We had to change units due to a price increase and they helped us through the whole process so it went smoothly. Nothing worse than moving your stuff that you want to keep, if it's a pain changing units. They helped us along the way. Lesley who has been there most of the time we have, always has a smiling face and is willing to help. If the customer service continues, we will surely be there. read more

There was a leak to the roof that caused a flood to several units, I was never notified. There was significant water/mold damage to most of my items. The flood was in December 2014, but the leak to the roof was not repaired until February 2015 (as stated by the management office). My unit was not the only one affected, and I don't believe anyone was notified (spoke to other tenants). If they had called, I could have prevented the mold damage. The building is still in disrepair. The bathroom ceiling is missing, and there is a bucket catching water that is dripping from the bathroom ceiling. I would not trust that all roof issues have been fixed. read more
