Show up and Pub Storage has changed my lock with NO WRITTEN NOTICE!!! I have never been late on a single payment and my stuff has been here for 2 year. Now I have to schedule a move out. The property manager is impossible to reach. Every attempt to call the property manager results in an endless loop of automated system that never gets you to a person. This is not the first time I've had a problem with this rental and the customer service is always a nightmare. Stay away!

Beware !!! Roof leak caused severe mold damage to my belongings. Mover would not move most of it…read morebecause the mold was so bad. Facility says they are not responsible and renters insurance doesn't cover mold. Mold is so bad, my upholstered furniture and many of my belongings, many sentimental, will have to go to the dump. Go to a newer, better maintained facility with roofs that don't leak so you don't experience the nightmare I've had (and heartache).

They called me back the following day and the owner/operator Wayne told me a spot would be 55.00 per month. I told him that was a bit high, and went about my day. Well after getting busy for the week and neglecting my duties of looking for a spot I called him back and offered 50.00 per month and I'd pay him in cash for the next 3 months. He declined and told me his price was set. I called the next day and told him I'd take a spot for a month. He told me he wouldn't be at the business that day and to come by tomorrow after lunch. I found it strange that he didn't keep actual business hours but still answered the phone during the work day. Needless to say, I called him at 2pm the following day and he lit into me about not showing up earlier in the day. We'd never set a time and he wasn't specific about when to come by so I apologized but he told me to do business with someone else and he didn't want to do business with me. Basically, these guys are a mom and pop storage place run by a jackleg, cranky, old, quazi senile man who doesn't like to stay at his office nor does he like to provide any level of customer service. Best of luck to them because I found storage from another place for half their price a mile down the road and the owners are super nice. Stay away from this place.

He and I chatted about what I needed (a space for an RV). He quoted a price and actually lowered it when he realized we desired a longer term (not just a month or two). He wasn't sure of what spaces were available so he told me to email him as a reminder. The next day I had my answer and they even measured the spot to make sure our RV would fit. Then, go from $200 to $275 after next three months. That's a 175% increase in only 6 months. I have space at another space shop self-storage (on Buford Hwy) and they were good about their rate increases, only doing it in batches of 10%. At any rate, all these storage places do this. (Their mindset is that the increases won't be enough to make the hassle of moving your crap worth it). This particular on is the worst I've ever experienced. Plenty of more reasonable options in the area, so avoid this one.

The rental rates are very competitive, including options to prepay. The building is very easy to get in and out of--it is just off a lighted intersection on Route 92 so it is a safe travel experience, no dodging in and out of traffic, etc. We appreciate the stress-free access.
