It was busy but not packed when we arrived, and it looked like the staff was setting up for an event. Books are arranged by genre, with newer titles near the front of the store. I found a few novels I've been eyeing, and the prices are fair. I could have easily spent a few hours browsing ... as easily as I could have spent a small fortune on books. It is worth noting that my husband was disappointed at the graphic novel selection (it was only one small end cap), and sadly he left empty-handed. We were somewhat surprised to find Pop Mart blind boxes for sale, but these seem to be finding their way in many stores. Customer service on the floor was non-existent during our visit, but we really didn't need any help. Checkout at the register was quick and friendly. It's a nice location with other large retailers nearby -- Target, HomeGoods, TJMaxx, BestBuy, etc. Parking is not an issue in the large plaza.

Value- I love their deals the most, which also makes things a little difficult because they convinced me to buy more books than I originally signed up for! This bookstore was a major bonus when I found a job in the area. Bookstores are the heartbeat of the city, and that is the case here. Parts of the store that used to be full of books now have FUNKO figures and kids toys, as well as Bible calendars. They also have a section for anime and board games, so the nerd factor is still there, though not on the level of independent shops. They have a coffee shop and a lot of history/biography/study guide/fiction books. The spots reserved for sitting and reading are gone. It is past its prime, but in the time of Amazon, and outside of big cities, what place isn't?
