The crust had a nice crispness around the edges while still staying chewy in the middle, and there was a good amount of cheese without making each slice overly heavy. It was time for me to stop in. They advertised 2 slices of pizza and a drink special on the street sign. I drove up and noticed signage that said drive thru only. I pulled around back and lined up behind another customer. After a couple minutes, it was my turn at the window. I was asked if I was there for the special, and after a couple questions about what I wanted, my drink and two slices of pizza were delivered through the window. $7 for the special. read more

Stoshes has always been on point! I can't believe I haven't left a review yet. Back in the day we'd get turkey pitas that were great from here, these days you can get 1/3 pizza and pop for like $5! Great cheese and toppings. Best ranch in town I'd say. I used to love their ribs too but the I can't drive anymore so I can't get things like usual. Just got a Hawaiian square pizza last night with my friend Jamie, and oh lord I'll tell you that was the best decision we've ever made in a spur of the moment decision! Came out perfect! So good that we both had 3 whole slices out of the large we ordered! Great fellows that own it also. I used to hang out with them at the local bar years ago. Super clean establishment. The food is definitely 5-star food. The take out and delivery options leave something to be desired though. The phone lines are terrible. We've used 2 land lines and 6 cell phones to call from varying places and always find a lot of interference. We've tried delivery 3 times and all 3 times took double the estimated time (45-50mins instead of 20/25 mins). Luckily it's close enough for us to send someone by quickly to order/pick up. The guys that work/run the place are absolutely amazing though. Customer service is wonderful and it's definitely my favorite pizza and sub place in the area. The toasted deluxe is a great sub but FYI that hot pepper rings means banana peppers lol. Prices are very very competitive and there's even a drive thru. Overall definitely recommend! read more

Ok wait a second.... I just got my pizza and something is different. ...the fresh ingredients! Im not fancy with toppings, just like mushrooms. Its been months since my last pizza and what I just picked up was not the same. I definitely had canned mushrooms. Gross! Slick, smooth, no taste, no dark edges, wet sick canned mushrooms. Sauce had no flavor. What is going on Stosh's?????? Keep it real like you said you did. Grandma would not be happy! Delicious, filling and great service! I ordered pizza for my class thinking I could order days in advance online but didn't realize until I paid it was that day.I think the prices are great for the quality, but for a teacher it was a lot of money to put out. I called right away since I paid online. Unfortunately that was during lunch, so they had to be busy. It didn't matter, they treated me with patience and kindness. The pizzas were delivered on the right day, and time, nice and hot. The students and I enjoyed it, one even saying, " hey, this isn't the cheap stuff!". Been here a couple times now and have been very impressed with their pizza. Chewy, substantial dough with a slightly crisp, but chewy crust topped by lots of good quality mozzerella, sweet well spiced sauce, and tasty pepperoni. For $2/slice, you basically get a quarter of a large pizza, so for $4 you are stuffed for a LONG time. In addition, they offer free flavored crust on your slices - I've had garlic butter & it adds another tasty dimension to an already dynamite slice. I also recommend red pepper flakes (if you're feeling frisky). The heat added by these little beauts is the perfect compliment to the cheese & sauce. For a place that has a colossal sign out front, you'd think that they would have great pizza to back it up. Obviously the sign is overcompensating for something. Don't go here. Love their square pizza. I don't eat pizza often, but I hate paying for over priced mediocre pizza. But here the sauce is just right and the cheese is super gooey! Stosh's delivered a large pizza half pep and half mushroom to my work with a 2-liter of Pepsi for $10. I can't beat the price and convenience that have just offered me. They also have pretty decent salads as well, and honestly I don't think I have had bad food there. Stosh's is also very generous, they have donated free certificates to my nonprofit for the past two years. I don't quite recall the exact amount, but I think they gave me 2 $20 certificates! Which is just enough for a family. You can get a large pizza with a couple toppings, pop, and bread sticks for all that! Now that's a deal. Stop in and try some! Decent pizza, awesome service! I love the drive thru window, 'cos c'mon.. who doesnt like to pick up a slize of za with great ease and ultimate laziness?? We came here solely to do a taste test and compare these slices to our favorite pizza on this side of town (about a block away). Quickly we realized there is no comparison. I say this because the style of pizza on these slices are different. One is a panpizza with fluffy crust, and this pizza is made in an oven and its crust is thin-ish. I loved the cheese on our slice, it was creamy and plain yummy. I can't speak for the pepperoni, however they were round. And red. For someone who orders customized pizzas with 'light sauce', I kinda need to gripe about the lack of sauce on their pizza. Meaning, because we just got a slice we did not even ask for light sauce but felt there was so little that it reminded us of pepperoni cheesebread instead. All in all good pizza, albeit light in sauce. I like the choice of flavored crusts (even on slices!), the friendly service and the huge-ness of slices. read more

I ordered 2 full size Italian subs, get them home, open them up and find hamburger dill pickle slices on an Italian sub. All over them. Do they know what goes on an Italian sub. This is one of the most rediculous things I've seen done to food lately. So I have to start picking dill chips off the darn sub when I'm starving. Also had to rearrange the meat, what was there. One end was totally void of anything. This is not what I expected to do when I get home with my food. With all the 5 I sure expected more. Maybe the 5 reviewers are used to subpar food. I have a very bizarre relationship with Stosh's, it started about a year ago. I was working in the area and checked yelp for some slice action. This place has some serious fans so I went to get my grub on. Got the 2 slice special with a pop and I was not impressed at all.....actually I was kinda pissed that I fell victim to the yelp hype, especially the "pretty girl" 5 star reviews that are my true kryptonite (talking to you, Katie and Michelle!) I was gonna come on here and call "bu11$#i+" on these folks. So, a couple of weeks later, I decide to give it another shot. I am not quite sure why, I was still working in the area and I just thought it would be convenient. This time lunch was good, really good....I am sure it was the same stuff as before but it had some type of crack to it this time that made me want to come back as soon as I could. It really doesn't help my addiction when the owner/manager(?) treats me like a longtime friend either. So, now I find myself making excuses to get out to Centerline just to get my slice fix. I have yet to try anything else, looking forward to grabbing a square and sticks one day. This lunch special is my favorite in the Detroit area, hands down.......prolly should throw a few more roni's on those bad boys, 3 goo cups per slice just doesn't cut it.....it also doesn't seem to deter these 5 stars. This a really good mom and pop shop for pizza. The guy working there was nice and he made a damn good pizza. I never liked going anywhere for pizza unless it was jets but now i know where to get my pizza from. Gave up on this place due to a string of orders they always got wrong. Tried them again today after a year of not ordering. They still got my order wrong. They refuse to admit fault over the phone and are too busy screwing up everyone else's order at the same time. When they get it right, it tastes great. They haven't gotten it right in over 6 years. Not worth my time and money to argue with them about how they screw up making a sandwich. Damn shame too. This place used to be one of the best pizza joints around. 10 years passes and they are sub par. Order from some place else. read more
