Both times, I ordered a small four-square pizza with pepperoni and black olives, and Loui's absolutely knocked it out of the park. Don't let the word "small" fool you either -- this is a seriously filling pizza. Even a hungry customer is likely to leave full, satisfied, and already thinking about the next visit. What really stood out to me was the generous amount of cheese, the substantial weight of the pizza, and that perfectly crisp crust. It's rich, hearty, and exactly the kind of pizza you hope for when you're craving something substantial. The service was fantastic on both visits as well. My servers were friendly and attentive, and I also really enjoyed the old-school interior. It has that wonderfully dated, nostalgic feel that immediately brought me back to the good old days of going out to restaurants around Detroit as a kid. To me, that atmosphere is part of the charm. If you haven't tried Loui's Pizza yet, trust me -- you're missing out. After hearing about it for years, I can definitely see why it has such a loyal following, and I'll absolutely be back.

It's cash only so if you're in a group make sure everyone has cash since they do not do separate checks. The Greek salad and antipasto salad was excellent and a HUGE recommendation and endorsement on the garlic cheese bread. It was so freaking good I could've just eaten that whole pan and called it a day. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend coming here!

Doughy crust, delicious toppings, and ample cheese and sauce. I won't lie, I ate almost an entire large by myself. I've friend several pies while in the detroit area, pizza papalis is a fave, but I don't always have time for that drive. And that's a huge deep dish Chicago style pie. Wow! More true heroes during this critical time in our lives. I have a girlfriend who is very dear to me working on the front lines At Macomb Hospital. I felt like I needed to do something so I contacted Little Italy's and they stepped up to the plate and are donating pizzas to the hard-working employees who are risking their lives on a daily basis. We decided to do that so we could eat dinner before 9pm, figuring they must sell a lot of ribs so they must be good. On the pizza, we ordered pepperoni/green pepper. After getting the order home, we discovered that the ribs looked more like just over 1/2 slab (8 bones starting at the small end of the slab) and were dry with lots of fat. Definitely needed more sauce because once you got past the initial thin coating, it was dry pork and endless chewing to try to process the dry meat. We all agreed we wouldn't order these again. Fries were OK, coleslaw was inedible, it had either gone bad or they added too much vinegar, either way no one ate more than a first bite and it got thrown away. We had ordered a pepperoni/green pepper pizza but received a ham and bacon one instead. We ate it anyway, although this combo isn't our thing, it was ok but the slices were cut so there were skinny slices mixed with larger ones. It would have been more helpful in dividing things out of they would have at least been more uniform. Some may ask why we didn't call back up there and correct the situation, but at this point we had just spent over $30 and the time it took to go up there, we decided to deal with what we had since the family was hungry. The place was empty when we picked up so not sure what was going on tonight. Two stars - one for the pizza and one to recognize them for trying to give us a deal for the ribs they had available at the time of our order. It's a bummer that this meal wasn't more of a hit.
