Went here for a couple of drinks while waiting for my kid at an event. The bar was a typical bar. Dark, smokey and the table tops had t been wiped in awhile. There were two bartenders and I got the sense the dude like the girl cause every time she talked to me, he stared at me. Great beer specials on Monday! The crew here has a high knowledge of the area around here. So ask for any recommendations they have you're looking to move the party elsewhere. The inside was nice and had billiards, and the outside sitting area was pretty freaking great. Beyond that, I have to say that these beer specials are legit! Almost too good to be true! read more

It's just a basic bar, nothing special, nothing horrible either. It's a little bleak, and not very warm: Black concrete floors, black ceilings, etc. They did have a few different beers on tap rather than the typical Bud Light material, which was a plus. read more

This place has great bartenders. I have never had a problem getting a drink. I also have never walked in sober. So, my opinion is not from clarity. But they have always served me until closing time which is great in the area. There are very few options for bars open until 2 every night. I've never started there, but have finished there many times awaiting my Lyft. read more

I had just got there and I went to the bar and ordered a drink, I paid and the bartender handed me my change and before I even put my money away my friend comes to the bar so I tell the bartender can I have another one? He tells me no not unless you tip me and I'm like are you kidding me like I haven't even put the money away and I wasn't done ordering, he's like well I'm not making you another drink until you tip me for that drink first. I told him I'm not tipping you if you're refusing to serve me and I walked away but my friend stayed and tried to order and the bartender completely ignored her and called on the people behind her and continued to just ask other people what they wanted. I have never been to a bar where a bartender begs for tips and refuses to serve you unless you tip every single drink. This was absolutely ridiculous and I wouldn't recommend coming here to anyone. read more

After celebrating my friend 40th birthday dinner @ Frida, we decided to continue celebrating and try Stout House @Stone Oak next door... we walked in at 8pm the place was not crowded, plenty of open tables. My bf and I went to the bar to buys drinks and birthday shots for the birthday girl. Yes we understand there was only one bartender but for her to not acknowledge us nor the guy in front of us who was waiting patiently, she decided to acknowledge other patrons who arrived after us. We waited a little bit longer than we should have and still nothing. I felt bad telling my friends let's find another place, when this was our first time there. We love stout house stone oak! My husband and I have been coming here for sometime. I have had a few events and they were able to accommodate and provide exceptional customer service. Staff is incredible! They have a outdoor patio as well if you like to smoke cigars. Great place to watch any sports let's not forget about UFC fights!! We always feel like we are VIP at this bar. Erik and his staff are amazing. If your looking for an event this is a great place. Customer service is always on point. read more

Christian has been so attentive I've never been to a bar where I have been greeted directly!!! I have never have to wait at the bar!!! While christian was taking care of me BLAIN was doing all the work in the background!!!!! Went by for a drink around 7:45pm on a Wednesday night. Bar had about 30 people in there, mostly hanging out, most everyone had been served. Went up to the bar to grab a drink before sitting at a table. Also noticed a gentleman next to us with a beer, and a young woman further down with no drink. Bartender (red headed woman about mid 20s, many tattoos on arms) came up to us and asked what we'd like to drink. We mentioned that there were two other people next to us that had gotten there before us, and suggested they should be served first, since they were there first. Bartender did not say anything, and instead looked away annoyed and continued to make drinks. For the next 10 minutes, we watched as the bartender closed people out and continued to make drinks for people that had clearly already been there and knew her by name. Meanwhile, a nice gentleman came up to us from behind the bar and apologized that he was still setting up for his shift, and was not on the clock yet, but he would be with us in about 5 minutes. The female bartender walked back and forth past us nearly 5 times without making eye contact. We were ready to order from the beginning, but were just trying to be courteous to other patrons that arrived before us. It was very clear that the bartender was more interested in her regulars, closing out, and leaving than serving us a quick beer. We ended up leaving after 15 minutes of waiting. Will go back when that bartender is not working. read more

Was out with a couple of friends and before the bar closed in 20 mins we went up to get a drink the bald bartender had just served one of my friends and my other friends were waiting so I ordered with them as well and when he told me the total and looked at me I pointed to my friend bc he was paying and the bartender goes "next time dont order and just point to someone else, i have a whole bar waiting to be served" ... I've never heard of that "rule" in a bar before ... so anyways my friend pays and when he was gonna tip i told him not to bc the service was bad & the bartender goes "and yall probably aren't going to tip good either" damn right we weren't. How do you expect a tip for bad customer service, i work in retail and even if a customer is getting on my nerves i act professional. So after i get my drink i was standing to see if he really did have a lot of people waiting bc when i checked there were only two people who came to the bar after us waiting to close out .. so im standing there realizing that one couple was just waiting to close out not even waiting to get served so i tell him something since he was rude , i told him "hmm i was just waiting here to see how many people you had to serve" & he goes "the whole fucking bar sweetheart" idk that whole experience was belittling and this man was way bigger than me screaming at me & not being professional whatsoever & thats why i will never go back read more
