They respond quickly and have a good command of the equipment in my house. Rates are reasonable, and the principals are trustworthy.

We have been Diamond Heating customers since August 2009. Their service has always been excellent,…read morewhich is why we chose this company to install our new furnace when our old one went kaput. We were put on a "short list" because we were without heat, and the process was absolutely seamless thanks to the kind facilitation of representatives Sasha, Samantha, and Adri. We would like to give a special shout out to Dylan and Aiden, the technicians who installed the furnace. These professionals were friendly and knowledgeable, and we feel that they went beyond the call of duty when they descended into the crawl space under our house to repair a torn pipe when it was detected that no warm air was emanating from one of our vents. In closing, thank you, Diamond Heating! We are very happy with our purchase!

Last summer we had a gas line leak outside the house. I called to report smelling gas and they responded immediately sending a tech out within the hour to assess. The tech shut down the lines and instructed me on how to coordinate with the gas company. I really appreciate having this company on our side and highly recommend them. They aren't the cheapest, but their prices are reasonable and fair.

When my Mitsubishi mini-split died, the local guy on the Peninsula really didn't want to deal with it. It was close to 14 years old and he wanted to fix the circuit board for $1,500 Sorry......putting 15 hundred in a rust bucket is never a smart choice. Beach weather is A real bitch folks....be warned....SALT! I decided to replace the unit. In 2025 they banned R410 coolant so, I needed to replace it with R454 and a liquid line and gas line that were THE SAME SIZE, otherwise line replacement for the copper pipes in my house would be $1,800. I found a unit from ACDIRECT.COM made in the USA so no tariffs. The brand is ACIQ and has a 12 year warranty on the compressor and 7 years all parts. YouTube the reviews.......it is a good company and is built in the Carrier plant in Ohio and American owned. Sam came out. I was his apprentice for the day and helped where I could. He is an HVAC expert. He is cautious with promises and I respect that, because people these days EXPECT UNICORNS AND RAINBOWS. This man is legit and I respect him greatly. I am not a bot. He did exactly what he said he was going to do -- and ultimately fixed the problem the same day. The work was professional, thorough, and technically sound. While others had suggested replacement, Green Bear took the time to repair instead -- saving me thousands. I now have heat and confidence in the work that was done. I would absolutely hire Green Bear again and have already referred him to friends.

tldr - if it's related to HVAC, call the installer of your HVAC system if possible…read more I called Green Bear to take a look at an HVAC system (on second floor) that was leaking water on the 1st floor ceiling (due to AC condensation). They sent someone over, who didn't really open the HVAC system panel much. I didn't seem confident that this would fix it. But they recommended to fix the drain pan inside the evaporator coil box, which they said was much more expensive. For clearing the drain pipe and gluing a loose pipe, which didn't actually fix the main problem, they still billed me $300 - diagnostic fee ($99) + 1 hour ($199) - (there's a 3% credit card fee, but they accept checks) 4 or 5 hours later, there was dripping again. I ended up calling Bob's, they sent 2 technicians who knew what they were doing (they opened the panel properly), they found and fixed the issue - it did not involve replacing a drain pan. Bob's only charged me the diagnostic fee of $175 and did the job right (compared to $300 that Green Bear charged)
