We also went over the mileage predictions. On moving day, Joseph and Matt showed up with their truck and they busted their asses loading. I had everything pre-staged ready to go in about 40 boxes and they padded wrapped my furniture. They were done in just over an hour. Moving into my new place...just over an hour. Again, my old place although a 2300 sq/ft house had minimalist contents. The great news is Joseph's prediction on time and mileage was spot on and I had no damage to my possessions. The week I was supposed to move brought bad weather. I had a long gravel driveway and expressed to Eric that his truck may not make it through on moving day and that we should reschedule. He assured me that it would. On moving day they spent in total almost 2 hours trying to get the truck in and out of the driveway. They were not able to take my mower or other lawn equipment on the truck and offered a flatbed at an additional cost. I had no faith that the flatbed would be able to get in/out of the driveway with the snow so I decided to call on a later date for the equipment. His crew cracked my headboard and left cigarette butts at both houses. When I contacted him about moving the lawn equipment in April he did not respond.

I have belongings that are missing and broken, and now I can't get a call-back. They took a hammer to my antique bed frame (now broken in 2 places), and broke the frame on a large picture (that I can't fit in my car so in addition to repair cost, it's going to cost to get it transported). What an unscrupulous and unreliable company. I'm still unpacking so we'll see what else I come across - I'm guessing there's more broken items - but that obviously does not matter to these people. Such a dishonest company! Just adding on with some pictures - smashed china! These dishes were wrapped in paper, then bubble-wrap, then cardboard between. So much cushioning and protection - I wonder from what height they had to drop the box in order to get them to shatter like this! Keep your valuables away from this company; they talk a good game, but then never returns your calls when there is trouble!

I'm glad I went with them, they were helpful at every step of the process (especially Jeremy, with whom I had the most contact), they gave me some free used boxes, the crew that loaded me was friendly and very good at what they do. Loading and unloading both went VERY quick, and from what I can tell from unpacking so far, there was no damage to any item. The only downside was the delivery window they gave me was 2 weeks, which made planning more difficult. But, it was a long distance move to a very out-of-the-way location, so I could understand. They ended delivering in the middle of the delivery window, and after the first day of the window they gave me a specific date. This is my second cross-country move in two years, and I can say that my experience was Christofferson was quite good.

They were shipped to my driveway and I was barely able to get them in my detached garage. I hired this company and was surprised at how quickly he scheduled my job. He also gave me a really good price compared to other quotes. He and a helper moved the boxes into the house and second floor bedroom. They assembled all of the parts and spent less than 2 hours. The only issue I had was the huge shipping boxes were not taken away. Now I am left to cut them down to fit in my recycling bin. But otherwise I was very satisfied with the job they did.

First, their response time for getting back to you with a quote is horrible. And when I finally received a quote, it was not in writing. Second, when the day came for them to move me, they showed up late with a truck that was falling apart. Parts of it were rusting, one of the rear tires on the double axle was flat and hanging on the rim, the gas tank had a piece of plastic stuffed in it to function as a gas cap, and the truck failed to start when they tried to back it up to the storage unit. When the employees called the owner, he cussed a blue streak on the phone and hung up angrily. When he called his employees back again, his attitude was less than professional. The movers themselves were talking about how the truck was unreliable as well. They informed me that the owner would be there in 20 min and I told them to call me when he got there. The next call I received was not from the owner but from the moving crew that had been talking about how unreliable the truck was. I asked them if the owner brought another moving truck or trailer, and they informed me that they had managed to start the truck and were ready to move me. I told them I wasn't comfortable with them using that truck, to which they replied, "F^&K you then." The owner failed to call me at any time to inform me of what was going on or how he planned to complete the move. As a result of their poor customer service, I have now incurred additional storage fees. As a result, I cannot in good conscience recommend this business.

I asked why and Steven said that they had little overhead and were a local family company. I did some research on yelp and google and found every review at 5 STARS!! They are definitely NOT 5 STARS! We tried to support local while saving a few bucks. Don't do it. The movers showed up in a U-Haul, not professional looking at all, just 4 guys one of whom was the owner Steven Eisenach. They took a crazy amount of breaks. Every few minutes was a smoke break. I had to ask them not to smoke in the truck while loading our furniture. Plus they threw their cigarette butts all over the yards and drive ways. In all it took over 10 hours for a 3 bedroom home to go 10 minutes away. After the move we noticed many dings and gouges in the furniture and other items. During the move I noticed a gouge in our downstairs oak door and pointed it out to a mover. I got a shoulder shrug and a "wow! thats bad." After the move we had to repair and paint many scratches in the walls at the old and new home. The worst came as we unpacked. I left my garage tools to unpack last in order to get the house up and running. When I finally got a chance to unpack the garage I noticed many tools missing. I ended up losing many hand tools and some power tools. I have a 4'x8' peg board normally loaded with tools. Now it barely has anything at all. I am finding more tools missing every day. I did reach out to the movers via email and voicemail and have had no response. My wife did some more digging on the company and found a few things. She found that Steven reviewed his own company. And with as many 5 star reviews we believe that most are friends or family. She also found 1 Google review saying pretty much what we say above. They had a couple of tv's go missing.
