Wonderful baristas who genuinely make you feel welcome! The shop was very clean and offered a wide variety of options, mainly divided between coffee and tea drinks, as well as smoothies and smoothie bowls. The baristas took the time to ask what we were looking for and helped us navigate the menu. The drinks were delicious, and we enjoyed them enough to stop by two days in a row while visiting Mackinaw City. On the first day, I ordered the Coconut Paradise. It was a little heavy on the ice, likely because it was made by a barista in training, but the flavor was well balanced. It was smooth, not too tart, and not overly sweet. The only downside was that the extra ice made it difficult to stir. We also tried the Bird's Eye Latte, which was sweet, flavorful, and very enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who prefers sweeter coffee drinks. On our second visit, I ordered the Maple Harvest Cold Brew. Since it uses real maple syrup, it took some effort to mix thoroughly, and I didn't notice the maple flavor until after stirring. We also tried the matcha, which wasn't sweet and had the rich, earthy green tea flavor that I love. Small, intimate, so cool coffee house and yoga studio with excellent service, vibes and epic coffee on an early, rainy, cloudy morning. Such a beautiful serene place to start a day with a wall of philosophers, poets, and travelers life advice on strips of paper adorning the walls. The first sign that jumped out at me "Be nice or leave" just great life advice for anyone. Trrrific coffee and a nice selection of muffins and beverage offerings. Shout out to Addison & Alicia the Super friendly faces in the morning behind the counter. Seriously, thank you all for being here we're a better world because of you all here so early. read more

Strait to the Roots is my new favorite in Mackinaw City! In regard to their food and drink offerings, they have smoothies, smoothie bowls, overnight oats, coffee, matcha, rtc. They also offer a variety of self care services. Massages, facials, cupping, etc. I was SUPER bummed they didn't offer any yoga sessions on Friday or Saturday mornings. I really wanted to take a yoga class to get my day started. I feel like it would be good for travelers who are visiting the area. But I can certainly understand limited sessions due to interest, being a touristy area etc. The staff were very kind. I ordered the plot twist bowl. They were out of granola so they put extra banana on top. I will say I think there could've been more berries on top. The top didn't seem as full for a $15 bowl. It was excellent I just wish there were a few more berries! There is indoor seating but very limited. I really appreciated having a healthier option for breakfast! Very friendly staff. Strong drip coffee, albeit a bit muddy, as though she'd brewed some absolutely fantastic coffee last nite, left it sitting out, then microwaved it to warm it up. (Not saying she actually *did* that, just that that's what it tasted like.) That said, it's the best coffee I've found in Mac City. read more

I wanted to try a local coffee shop but they don't have public restrooms. I don't know about you but after a coffee I often need a restroom if you know what I mean. So Despite my heavy bag I backtracked to Starbucks where the also offer indoor seating. read more

Stopped in while walking by on the way to the 2024 Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk and got in line. They were slammed with guests but I decided to wait a few minutes for them since they were opened early. What a pleasant surprise to get such great drop coffee with a two muffins. My wife and I booked a massage with Autumn during our getaway weekend to Mackinac City and had coffee/smoothies here both days we were in town. Coffee/smoothies = great (especially that pumpkin pie one, YUM). Massage = best we've ever had, Autumn! I only wish we were local to get more involved in the yoga and life coaching community. Nonetheless, my time here was well-spent and I wish this business well in growth and touching lives like you've touched mine.
