Rather than acknowledging the mistake, she dismissed my pain and failed to provide any real assistance. This is not just about a bad wax--it's about negligence and lack of proper training, especially when working on darker-skinned clients. If you are a Black woman or have sensitive skin, please be careful--this location does not seem to have proper knowledge of how to wax safely on different skin types. At minimum, their technicians need to be retrained to recognize the difference between hair and skin so that they do not cause avoidable injuries to clients. I have since filed a dispute with my credit card company, as I should not have to pay for a service that resulted in bodily harm. I do not recommend this location, and I strongly encourage others to think twice before booking here.
