I had stellie and she was really nice!! And did a really good job on my haircut!!! They greeted me…read morereally well!! And was very friendly!!

Extremely disappointing experience…read more I checked in online and specifically waited until the estimated wait was around 30 minutes before leaving for the salon. By the time I arrived, the Great Clips check-in system showed approximately a 15-minute wait. I then waited about ANOTHER HOUR before being called back, partly because one of the two stylists working went on break shortly after I arrived. I understood they were short-staffed and only had two stylists, so I wasn't upset about the wait. I was patient and tried to be understanding. Unfortunately, things went downhill once I finally got in the chair. The stylist told me there weren't any notes in the system about my previous haircut. I jokingly said I wasn't sure why, since the other stylist working that day was actually the person who cut my hair last time. I wasn't being argumentative--I was joking around and trying to keep things light. I told her I could simply explain what I wanted and showed her screenshots from a video of the hairstyle. For whatever reason, the stylist immediately became defensive and seemed to have an attitude toward me. Eventually, because of how the interaction was going, I asked if she simply didn't want to cut my hair. At that point, the other stylist walked over and told me I could leave and that they were refusing me service. So after following their online check-in process, timing my arrival based on their estimated wait, driving to the salon, and then patiently waiting approximately another hour, I was sent away without even getting a haircut. Had they simply told me when I arrived that they didn't want my business, I could have gone somewhere else instead of wasting a significant portion of my Sunday waiting. I understand being short-staffed. I understand employees needing breaks. I understand having a stressful day. What I don't understand is treating a customer who had patiently waited for service this way and escalating what should have been a completely routine conversation about a haircut into refusing service. I left without a haircut and with an hour of my Sunday wasted that I could have spent with my family or getting things done at home. I've contacted Great Clips regarding the experience and requested that management contact me. I believe an apology is warranted.
