He tells me it wasn't worth fixing and parts would be impossible to find. Then he starts working on the dryer (which is only 3yrs. old and wasn't cheap). He takes it all apart, tells me he has a dentist appt and will come back Sat (10/7/23) to finish. He comes Saturday morning to finish. Then tells me that he accidentally broke the blower wheel and will replace it at no charge but he won't have the part till Monday (10/9/23). I don't hear from him, calls on the 11th, finally comes back on the 16th at 7:30pm. Puts it all back together and charges me $175. I do a load of laundry and literally cried when I opened the dryer and my clothes were still soaking wet. IT WASN'T FIXED! I call him, he tells me it must need a different part. a few days later he leaves me a vouc that he's sending me a partial refund and to call someone else!! This showed up a few days later.. he gave me back $100, kept $75 for "diagnosing my stove"!! It's almost April now.. and my dryer is still broke Which has made life extremely difficult for a widow mother of two thats struggling to get by. Words do not express how upsetting this entire experience was and I pray this isn't their typical service practices.

One day after completing the installation of our basement vacuum extensions, he immediately came back out to our house to fix the system because the drywallers for the basement botched up our system (on a Saturday, no less!) by their severing a wire to the system making the suction fail. It wasn't Evan's fault, but theirs. He came out and saved the day! Great customer service!

We had Evan come to the house a couple days later. After careful testing and diagnosis, he decided to change the board. Evan then spent a considerable amount of time checking to make sure this fixed the overheating issue which it did. He also inspected and cleaned the filter which he did not charge for. His estimate was spot on. We are very pleased with his work and saved us quite a lot of money over buying a new unit. Would recommend for vacuum repairs.

Goodbye dog bed and plushie dog toys. Goodbye paycheck for the day as anyone who has ever had to deal with this sort of thing knows. You have to toss the awful smelly heavy wet items, mop up the biohazard, then disinfect everything. I felt sick for days afterwards. Back to my story - The river of sewage was very surprising as I had only washed my face and flushed the toilet once after I went upstairs for the night the night before. The plumber who came told me that the 3 townhouses next to mine are all connected to me and so if they have a problem (flush wipes, etc) it is going to back up in my townhouse. Definitely not the news I wanted to hear. He brings back all 105 feet of snake and finds hair and "strings" (indicative of feminine products). I like the term "drowned rat" myself. I receive an email from my apartment complex that I now owe $335 for the plumbing. Mind you, I use a drain catcher for my long curly hair and I learned early on from my father to always respect the toilet. I call Gravity Drain Services and kindly ask if they could reach out to my apartment complex to inform them what the plumber told me, that the issue could have come from the 3 townhouses connected to me. They decline. Wow. Is it too much to ask for the truth to be told? That's all I was asking. The little guy gets knocked down again. UPDATE - the rental company was told the truth and the charge was removed. Thank you for doing the right thing.
