We recently just joined Stratford MGMP 1st grade, and before we started we were actually a bit worried as we were joining right in the middle of the trimester. However, the school's wonderful teachers and the staffs had proved us that our worries were redundant. It's been really heartwarming to see that every morning and afternoon during drop-off and pick-up our daughter would be greeted by all very friendly school leaders, Mrs. Deshmukh, Mrs. Greer, and she will always give Mrs. Sahni a big hug before she walks into the school. That little move really tells us that how much the school had make her feel safe, loved and cared. At first, the school's academic curriculum can be a little bit overwhelming compare to her pervious school, however, her classroom teacher Mrs. Parikh carefully and patiently gives each and everyone student the necessary attention and help they need that really helped my daughter a lot in gradually picking up her level with the class. Besides its well balanced and organized academic curriculum with the focus on English, Math, Spanish and Computer, as a parent, we were also quite impressed about school's other extra-curriculum such as the twice-a-week Music and Art classes which my daughter also enjoys a lot. Also, we were lucky enough to be able to participate in Stratford MGMP's annual and also the very first Year of Rabbit & Spring Extravaganza celebration which everyone were having so much fun, and really opened the eyes for the kids as well as the parents about different culture's ways of celebration for their special holidays. All of these really make us feel that the school's emphasis is not only on academic but also on social and other aspects of creative learning. Overall, I think Stratford MGMP is really an exceptional school for a young seed to learn and grow not only academically but also emotionally as the school offers a very welcoming and nurturing environment with very well-rounded education program. read more

Our daughter has been in this campus since grade 1 and we have been really fortunate to have had excellent teachers who not only inspire the students to excel academically, but also balance it with kindness and care. The school fosters a warm feeling of community and is championed by all starting from the principal to all the staff. My son has been in their pre-k program for a couple of months now. Having started him late in the year there is a great learning curve for the parents in terms of sign in procedures, pick up procedures, class routine, snack time, etc. Honestly I felt that the teachers are bias in enforcing their rules and very subjective in interpreting them. According to their rule book, it is an open campus which means guardians and parents can stop by anytime to observe the classroom. My mother stopped by one day and was told by the first teacher to another teacher "tell her to get out of here" thinking that my mom doesn't understand much English. When I confronted the teachers later, I was told it was because my mom did not sign in the front office. It would have helped if they nicely tell my mom the proper way to do it instead of yelling across the room in such a rude manner (once again because we started our kid late in the year and still trying to catch up on the rules). No one should be yelled in such disrespectful manner. Moved my son to challenger school on Gish road instead. read more

Awesome! Our LO is in PK in Ms. Aparna/Ms. Pavitra's class, she is having so much fun while learning the basics. Our teenage son used to go Stratford 10 years ago, he also loved Stratford until we had to move. Then we moved near Milpitas and Stratford was not an option for us and he went to Challenger, which was nowhere comparable to Stratford. We found Stratford's teaching philosophy is much better than any school. They balance everything pretty well - Sports, Academics, Fun , Safety , Love ... Even during this COVID crisis .. they are doing 3 classes per day!! We are planning to keep our LO for the next 10 years until graduation from high school(possibly). My child has been attending Stratford School for 4 years since it first opened its Milpitas campus. Besides of the beautiful and organized campus, the faculties are excellent and personable. I feel that they genuinely care for my child and care about the growth of all students. This review is mainly for the most recent class but we feel previous class years were very good as well. Ms. Sahni is a great teacher. We aren't just talking about the detail-oriented attitude towards the class, homework or parent communication, she reaches to my child at a deeper and more personal level. In her less than one year time, she was able to get to the same if not better understanding of my child like us as parents. She became a friend and someone who my child can talk to. She tailors the education to every student, identifying strengths and weaknesses and designing plans and assignment accordingly. She remains at a high level even after school switched to remote learning during COVID-19. On that note, I believe school in general did a good job at handling the crisis and adapting to remote education. Overall, we can't recommend Stratford School enough and our plan to send the younger sibling there is a testament of that. read more

My daughter has got great progress since she enrolled in Stratford pre-K last fall. Before that, she was in a bi-lingual preschool so we would like her to improve her English before entering kindergarten. Now we are very satisfied with her progress, both academically and socially. Her English has improved a lot and she is now more confident to express herself and conversate with people. I have to specially thank Ms. Pavithra and Ms. Anindita who made all these happen. My daughter goes to Stratford Milpitas campus ever since they started this campus when she was in pre-k and now she's in second grade. We love the school and our experience has been great. All my daughters class teachers and speciality subject teachers have been amazing and she loves them. The office staff and the directors everyone is very helpful and approachable. We kind of now have a very homely comfortable community feeling with everyone at school. We started with one child at Stratford Milpitas and now we sent our two daughters to the same school. My older daughter is currently at 2nd grade with Mrs. Sahni and we are so blessed to have her as our daughter's teacher. She is probably the best teacher we have ever met from Pre-k at Stratford. Mrs. Sahni is absolutely amazing, caring, loving to the kids in her class. She is an experienced teacher. She always responds to our emails promptly, provided needed information and help at all aspects, from little things like finding missing books/clothing to questions about homework and learning materials. One time we lost our school binder in an incident and she made every effort to coordinate with other teachers to replace all of the learning materials to us in a few days. She also provided us with detailed academic review at the student/teacher conference. She pays great attentions to details at every aspect of her students and demonstrates her caring and love to every kids in her class. She always grades homework with lots of details and feedbacks, which shows that she pays lots of attentions to students learning. My daughter always comes home and talks about how happy she is at school with Mrs. Sahni. She told me that Mrs. Sahni said she is their school mama(mother) and they can ask for her help at school for anything! What a caring teacher! My daughter has done Summer Camp at Stratford Milpitas since she was 2.5 years old (preschool) when she started atttending Stratford MGMP. It never disappoints; and she looks forward to attending everyday - and has fun doing it. We have had a very positive experience with the various summer program we signed her up for. We like the 1 week full time programs where she gets time to immerse herself in the subject or topic. Our favorites are STEM programs where my daughter gets kits to use or gets to build something. Ms. Sahni, who coordinates the Stratford Summer Camp at Milipitas, provides weekly communication by newsletter that we as parents greatly appreciate. We get a welcome newsletter ath the beginning of the week and a week wrap-up newsletter at the end, both are filled with detailed information on what to expect for the week, what they will be doing, and at the end of the week, information of what they did and links to photos where we get to see lots of pictures of what the kids have done in class (this is much appreciated). Camp teachers also send out introduction emails and provide details to help us parents see what the teachers hope to accomplish with the kids that week. We are about to complete our 6th week - where ABC Bridge camp was ran by Ms. Gupta who did a great job touching on various subjects the kids needed review for 5th grade. The last two weeks, we have done the STEM classes with Ms. Pacheco, who has kept my daughter engaged and excited to attend. Our experience so far, has made us feel we made the right choice sending our daughter to Stratford Summer Camp. read more

This is our first year with Stratford and we have been extremely happy with the school. When we first enrolled our son in the school, we met with the admissions director Mrs. Apeksha who gave us a full tour of the school. She was very kind and it was very nice talking to her. She introduced us to Mrs. Sahni who is part of the leadership team and is the current assistant director of the MGMP campus. Mrs. Sahni was very warm, approachable, friendly and gave us full assurance that our son will love the school. Mrs. Sahni is very enthusiastic, hardworking and can always be found on the go, organizing various events at school like the Grandparents day, Hispanic heritage month, Halloween celebration, Multicultural assembly etc. The entire school community comes together as one family during these celebrations and the students love being a part of these events. Our son has been a Stratford student since pre-school. He is currently a student of Mrs. Sahni's second grade (2A- Room 103). We have been extremely happy with the Stratford school and the support we have been receiving since pre-school. Normally, we write our reviews at the end of the year, but, this year has had such a special start that we didn't want to wait. Coming back to the school after over a year of staying at home, we were a bit worried about how our son will cope with the change. To our surprise, he swung back in as if no break happened. My daughter Sarah started Summer camp this year and now she is going to Preschool at Stratford school- Great mall Milpitas camp. We initially contacted Apeksha  ( Director of Admissions ) and she explained everything in detail on Zoom and helped us with enrollment. Then later she even helped us with an in person tour at the school facility and we really liked the campus. We were in constant touch with Apeksha during the whole process of enrollment / wait list / accepting the admissions offer and she provided guidance on every step. Ms Apeksha and the whole staff is easily approachable and they make sure that our queries have been addressed. My daughter is very happy and she loves going to school everyday. She loves all her teachers and is learning new things every day. We get lunch / nap log along with her pictures every day participating in different activities. I'm very disappointed by this school. I left because they do not have a COVID dashboard. They don't give you any information. There was nothing in writing stipulating that parents should report covid cases or exposures to the school. I have not got even one notification from them. I checked with other parents from their other branches. They had the same experience. If you talk to the director, all of them at their various branches have the same script that they have been instructed to say. It seems like they don't want to lose enrollment so all the directors give nonsense about privacy. Nobody is asking for kid's names, just tell us if anybody is exposed. So, I left I did not want my child getting sick due to this school not handling the COVID situation appropriately, especially given the Delta variant. Then I had another disappointment, my son failed the entrance exam at another private school I applied to. At Stratford, his teacher's and his report card told me he was doing very well. Stratford talks about high academic standards. Really? So, I spent all that money to be in this situation. I would never recommend this school to anybody, in fact, think twice if you are enrolled here read more

My daughter has been studying at Stratford Great Mall Pkwy since KG. Currently she is in Mrs. Mandal's 1st grade class. My daughter is one of those kids who missed a lot of pre-school education due to COVID and was having tough time catching up on some of the subjects when she started KG. It was amazing how Mrs. Mandal changed this completely and she started excelling at all the subjects in 1st grade. Mrs. Mandal goes out of the way to help her students and is a great combination of discipline and tender love and care which a young kid requires. We were always amazed how much detailed feedback she provides us regarding our daughter throughout the school year. My daughter looks forward to going to school every single day. This review is to highlight the support and guidance provided by Ms. Apeksha Anand, the Director of Admissions throughout the enrollment and admissions process. Apeksha encouraged us to add a second and third choice of campus on our child's application form, and also to apply for multiple school years. We were at first hesitant, but she suggested that doing this will ensure that our child would be able to get a possible enrollment spot for at least the third or second choice campus for the school year we applied for, which would bring us into the Stratford family. Being in the Stratford family would give us priority on the waitlist for our first choice campus. We patiently paid heed to the advice at the start of the pandemic and accepted the enrollment offered to us for the third choice campus. A few months later, we got a transfer possibility to the second choice campus, which we accepted again. Throughout this process, we were in touch with Apeksha through email and/or phone calls, and she always patiently answered all questions. Finally, we got a transfer offered to our first choice campus , which is the Milpitas Great Mall Parkway campus a couple months later, and we're now proud to be part of the Stratford MGM campus family! We express our gratitude to Ms. Apeksha, Ms. Deepali and the entire admissions team for the continued support and guidance to us in this process. Their efforts help anxious parents like us who have had our children on the waitlist for the first choice campus see a ray of hope and turn the dreams of seeing our child pursue education in the campus of our choice into a reality. Learning virtually is certainly something unknown before COVID-19, we had a lot of doubt on how kids can really get from such model. Ms. Sahni has gone above and beyond by dedicating herself on guiding kids throughout the year, she is not just a normal teacher you'd meet, she is pouring her heart to 2A class and made tremendous efforts to help kids build their routine and responsibilities. I made a difficult decision to move my daughter back to Hybrid class before the end of the school year due to family needs, it's so hard mainly because we don't want to leave such an amazing teach. My son attends the 1st Grade with Ms. Parikh at this school. Though we got him enrolled to the other school branch but got him transferred here and have no regrets about it. The school is conveniently located with access from I680 and/or I880. The Management of the school is great. My son loves the school and his teacher Ms. Parikh. It is her teaching that keeps my son excited to go to school every day. Ms Parikh really works hard with each student individually for reading and comprehending skills. Her efforts for this class are highly commendable. I also love the various activities and clubs conducted by the school. Our son attended the virtual classes at Milpitas Stratford this year - class 2A (Mrs. Sahni's second grade). 2020/2021 has not been a good year in a lot of ways but attending school at Stratford is definitely not one of them. In fact, this year has been an exceptionally good school year for our son. Some of the reasons why we are happy with Stratford are: - Our son looks forward and has been enjoying his classes more than ever. - Virtual teaching was a new concept this year but we felt that our son learned as much (if not more) he would have learned in physical classes. - Mrs Sahni has been an outstanding teacher and we are grateful that she was the teacher for our son. She is very sweet, patient, hard working, always goes out of the way for students, keeps the kids engaged and has helped our son learn a lot. - Mrs Sahni is able to build a 1:1 rapport with the kids which makes a huge difference. We are thankful to Mrs Sahni for making the pandemic year a smooth sailing for all the kids. We wish and hope that Mrs Sahni could be the teacher for our son in future years as well. read more

My child is currently enrolled into the Pre-K online program with Sumeet Bhatia and needless to say it was the best decision I took for her during these pandemic times. She has gone from barely recognising a few letters last October to now beginning to read easy books. Sumeet has been attentive towards every child in class and she works diligently towards their areas of improvement. She also is a good disciplinarian and balances that with fun which is important for these little children to learn to be attentive and follow instructions through an online medium. My child has learnt art, math and phonics with ease because of the efforts put in by school. Even Science and music classes are fun-filled and educational for little children. I believe my daughter has learnt a lot of advanced Kindergarten things already because of Stratford and Ms Sumeet. I am holding back on 1 star because of some of the administrative policies. While the fee is high there is a no flexibility or wiggle room for parents to take important decisions about continuing or withdrawing based on personal aspects. The penalties are too high which discourages me to enrol her for next year because we might move to a non-Stratford area eventually during school year. Overall, best decision to enroll her into Pre-K which has helped her with her fundamental skills. Thank you! read more

Our daughter was a shy little girl often running away from any kind of social interaction. We are so happy with the progress she has made after joining this branch of school for in person tutoring. Ms Anjali takes a very great approach where the kid doesn't buckle under the pressure to learn. She nurtured my kids interests and helped her open up greatly. We have been a Stratford family for six years now . The school has an amazing program for overall development of the kids . All teachers in the school are great . This review is specifically for first grade classroom of Mrs.Mandal . She is a teacher who goes above and beyond and would take personal care for the development of each kid in her classroom. Be it challenging them in curriculum or motivating students to participate in school competitions she always makes sure that her students are always at the top of the game . Special mentions to her very collaborative approach on working with the parents and children because every child is different and has different growth areas . My daughter was in the online learning program with Ms. Sumeet for the past a few months. The online class was great and way beyond our initial expectations! Ms. Summet is an awesome teacher who makes sure every student in the class is enjoying the class and encourages every kids to speak and talk, which is a really really challenging task for the online program. My daughter tends to speak slowly. Ms. Sumeet always encourages her to speak up, patiently waits for her to finish, and gives her warm feedback. My daughter loves Ms. Summet and her online class. In the past a few months, she was always happy to turn on the iPad for school and was never reluctant to join. My child started to learn in Startford Milpitas since pre-K in there, and now he is in 3 grade. We met many good teachers over here. Overall, we love this school and my child has a deep bundling with this school.
