The owner refused to allow the group with a service animal remain in the bar. First she is violating ADA rights and secondly, she could have addressed this in a more civil manner. The lady in the group was trying to have a calm conversation with the owner but the owner continues to be out-of-line. The venue felt significantly oversold, to the point where it was nearly impossible to move comfortably. From where I was standing, I couldn't see the stage at all, which made it hard to enjoy the performance I came to see. Beyond just being crowded, it felt unsafe. The number of people packed into the space seemed excessive, and I genuinely question whether it exceeded fire code limits. People were standing all the way back into the bar area. Navigating through the crowd was difficult, and there didn't appear to be enough room for people to exit easily if needed. I've been to this venue since its 2017 opening and had much better experiences, but this event felt poorly managed. I hope they take crowd capacity and guest safety more seriously in the future.
