The flowers for my mother's birthday were not at all what I requested. I stated greens with soft white and pink flowers with 'fluffy' flowers like peonies or ranuculus (or something equivocally lush since they said they may not have those). She received the picture below. And the lady who initially took my order was a bit rude and short with me when I was trying to explain what I wanted. I had to buy apology flowers to make up for these. I think they used the cheapest filler flowers possible. I would have gotten more value at a grocery store. read more

The owner is extremely rude! I went in looking for some flowers and nobody bothered to check in the back for me. She seemed put out by me being there. I was the only customer there. I was also looking for some babies breath and found a few stems in a container of water next to a large wrapped bunch. She accused me of pulling them out of the wrapped bunch. I repeatedly told I had not. Then she scolded me for taking them out of the water. If she's going to run a buisness she really needs to stop being so horrible to her customers. I was employed here after being employed over the phone with no interview, when I went in this Monday morning to start I told the owner how I have 2 up coming doctors appointments and she told me I need to reschedule or it would not work, keep in mind there was no conversation or any interview. She told me that she would have to find another person to fill my position because she needs me full time, even though I could work full time, people are allowed to have previous made plans before they are employed somewhere. she still wanted me to stay and work for that day.. but she made sure to tell me multiple times that it won't work and She'll need to find someone else. She made sure to tell me how she doesn't even go to the doctor and that it's not a big deal. Anyway, I walked out of being in there for 2 minutes. Total waste of my time and totally unprofessional and just plain rude. read more

The flower arrangements are lovely, but one thing I find a bit annoying is that they call the person receiving the flowers to ask when they'll be home before they deliver them. While I understand why they do it, it completely ruins any surprises someone may want to make for someone special to them. They should just call the person that made the purchase rather than the recipient. read more

I was very unhappy with my experience today. Our daughter needed some information for a project in her floral design class and we needed a floral arrangement for a friends birthday. We stopped in to Strawberry Plant Boutique thinking we could do both. We chose this store because it's near our home and we have walked past the window many times and thought it looked cute and inviting. We went in and talked with the person at the counter and my wife told her what we we were looking for and about the class. The employee went in back to talk with the owner. Even after my wife told the employee at the counter we were here to buy something as well as look around for the class the owner instructed her NOT to help us. The employee told my wife and daughter they would need to come back with credentials and ID to prove she had a class to look around for, and since they were closing in an hour it couldn't be today. Then she turned us away. We didn't even get a chance to look around. We walked out in shock. There was no attempt by the owner to be friendly let alone treat us as potential customers. We could not have been made to feel more unwelcome. I could maybe understand if they were busy but we were the only people in the store. We went to another nearby florist and in about 20 minutes we spent 70 dollars and my daughter got all the information she needed. My daughters questions took up about 5 minutes of the owners time. The owner and employees there couldn't have been nicer. I do not recommend Strawberry Plant Boutique to anyone. read more
