That's kind of what I was expecting but it was NOT the case. La Belle Spa is located in a Big Lots plaza, inside the Phoenix salon suites. It's not a massage envy or a relaxing spa with amenities. It is solely a suite rented amongst other suites dedicated to beauty services such as hair, nails, etc. Upon making my same day appointment, Belle was extremely thorough with my questions and concerns and gladly answered them in a professional manner. Once I arrived, about 7 minutes before my appointment, she was ready to take me in and greeted me outside of the suite door. When I went inside the suite it was a small room smelling amazingly clean with aromatherapy oil scents. I immediately felt like I was as inside of a little spa room and forgot about my outside surroundings. She took me in promptly, made me fill out paperwork and started my pampering. From steam to hot towels, scrubs and a mask. My face was feeling relaxed! It was massaged in a way it's never been before, I truly felt RELAXED. Exactly what I had come in for. I left with a very clean, hydrated, brand new face. I purchased the classic facial and it was so worth it. I want to come back and try derma-planning or microdermabrasion. The tools and utensils she used were all sterilized, the room was squeaky clean, she was very very professional and has amazing hands she works with. Her products are high end she uses some Skin Fitness and German products. Absolutely fantastic! I truthfully left there feeling brand new and wished the facial lasted hours! I've also gotten laser hair removal as well. Ryan, my nurse and co-owner of the facility, does the HRT. I went to him after having a horrible experience at a different facility. He's also very gentle with injecting the pellets - I still yelp when he does it though as the initial stick always gets me! It makes him laugh though. So glad I can provide him with a little entertainment during the procedure. Sophie does my facials and also did my laser hair removal. She's amazing! I don't even know what kind of facial I'm getting most of the time, but she always knows the one I need when I come in because my face always glows after. I love going to see her. It's like going to hang out with a friend - we talk and laugh and have a great time! All that's missing is a cocktail or two! Stephanie and Dani are the nurses that do my IV therapy. They are so sweet! Love them too! When I come in for the IV, they already know I actively stay dehydrated - I just work so hard that I forget to stop to eat and drink! So they offer me water as soon as I walk in. They're very gentle with the needle too! Really the entire staff is wonderful. When I entered the suite for the dermatologist office which is 116, I was greeted by the two wonderful ladies at their front desk. Because I was a first time patient there was some quick paperwork, all done on an iPad and then payment of my co-pay. The waiting are, and exam areas were spotless! This place was clean, organized and smelled fresh. I waited no more than five minutes before I was quickly taken into the exam room. I was asked a few questions about my health, my skin, and basically what brought me in for the visit. The medical assistant who is helping was also very patient and friendly. The one thing that stood out immediately was how friendly all of the staff members are. After a few short minutes of being in the exam room, the doctor came in and introduced herself. We spoke a little bit about my skins history and what procedures I was getting done before. She gave me some recommendations of other facilities in Fort Lauderdale that handle the specific type of issue that I was visiting for. She also recommended the same procedure that I was receiving from a different physician many many many years ago when I lived in New York. I really appreciate the fact that they did not try to force anything on me, or get me to do something or try something that they were not comfortable with let alone I was not comfortable with. The doctor was confident enough to give me information for a different office in Fort Lauderdale that can handle my situation way better than she can, but she also still offered the same procedure in office while I was there. The bottom line here is you rarely go to a doctor's office these days where a doctor will truthfully tell you what they think or what they feel or even refer you to go somewhere else for treatment that they know they truly cannot handle. Honesty like that for a medical professional is rare these days. I ended up getting a treatment done same day, and I have an appointment for one month to come back for a follow up. I think that for now I'm going to stay coming to this office because I felt comfortable, I felt heard and the staff made you feel welcomed and not judged. Dr. Julian and her staff are wonderful.
