I had a Yelp mobile app check-in with this business about 6 months ago. So even though this review is way overdue, they still deserve an excellent rating. Simply put: they do well at everything they advertise. If you need advice on a sound or navigation system, you will find that these people are well informed about their product. The service I received was professionally performed in a timely matter. The business has a clean restroom and waiting area. Just FYI, they are an official dealer for Katzkin (aftermarket leather cooled/heated seats). Customer service is top notch. I had a phone call from the lady working the desk following up on a quote she sent me. Who does that anymore these days? 5 stars. I will be visiting this business in the near future. However, when I return or if I were to recommend this place to family - I would insist that procedure be a drop-off instead of a wait for completion of service. I hate going to car shops to have anything fixed or installed. Most times I leave angry because someone steals cd's, or money out of my glove box. If not that, they tell me I have to pay extra money to fix a problem that doesn't exist. When I came to Streamline Auto I had all this in mind. Surprisingly I was totally wrong. The guys at Streamline Auto installed a double din Bluetooth capable Kenwood receiver, interior speakers and steering wheel control adapter on my older Acura TL. Everything about Streamline audio was professional from the installation to the customer service. For the services Streamline provided, I feel the price was completely reasonable. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS POOR EXCUSE IF A STORE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL AND THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG. Sorry for the all CAPS but I'm so disappointed in this shop after reading such positive reviews. We explained that we needed a new DVD player installed in our truck for a vacation we will be going on in a few days. We dropped the truck off on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 4pm and we DID NOT RECEIVE A CALL from the shop explaining that there was a problem with the install. They waited until we came to get the truck when they said it would be done on Friday after 2pm and to my surprise...no new dvd, a nice big whole in my truck. So NO CALL AND NO DVD INSTALL! I arrived at the store around 3:30 to find out all of this. So the errands and appointments I had Friday were pushed to MONDAY...the day of our vacation. I was told to come back Monday because they had to order a new DVD system to install. So they tell me to come back Monday for the install because the system they ordered would be in on Monday between 11:30 and 12:30 because they always get their shipments in at this time. Fast forward to Monday, July 22, 2019 and I call the store at 10:15am and it goes to voicemail. I wait again and call at 10:30 am and the same thing...no answer. I wait until 11:45 am and I get an answer and was pressed out to hurry and bring in my truck now so I get there at 12:10 pm and still no new dvd system has been delivered by UPS. So I wait until 1:30 pm and go back in and still no delivery so I ask for my money back and I'm told he doesn't have enough cash in his cash register to give me back my money and I needed to wait another hour because he was the only one in the store and had to wait to leave and get the money from the bank. So we go bs k and forth with him trying to make this my problem and he tells me "you know you sound ridiculous right?" , and I told him to please stop talking to me at that point and I wanted nothing to do with his business. I've cursed and asked him to respectfully give me my money so I could leave with the hole in my ceiling. The UPS guy comes in with delivery and he throughs him under the bus and sends the UPS guy to me to apologize. NO SIR YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF THE WAY!!! I told the UPS guy it wasn't him and he just through you under the bus. I had a dilemma...do I get the install or do I leave based on the principle? I wanted to leave but my husband talked to me over the phone and I'm just leaving at 2:49 pm with an "ok" system. I'm still disappointed because it wasn't the exciting experience of getting that new gadget, yet it was turmoil and a dissatisfied customer. The way the owner spoke to me and called me a liar and begged me to not put this on yelp, because he said I wasn't telling the truth. It was camcorders all throughout that store, I hope he sees this so he can watch and learn from his mistakes. Don't provide a service if you aren't willing to accommodate the cost of something goes wrong. Failure to communicate! The work is great they know what they are doing. The final price was a few dollars more than what they said it would be, and this seems to happen to everyone. So be prepared for that. Also, I just had a very small not fancy job, and they prefer installing higher end fancier products, so expect a sales pitch. I wanted to support a local business as opposed to Best Buy who were booked up, and not as knowledgeable as these folks about where to do the installation, etc. I made an appointment and the well-meaning Drew tried and tried to get me to spend more money, which I just didn't have. When we were square he handed me off to another employee and I made my appointment, I told Drew about it, and he said call make sure we have the part first. I called the day before, they had the part. I came in for my appointment and they said it wasn't in the system. I had to come back a few days later, and the check in/out process needs to be steamlined. It's quite tedious, they use new tablet technology, but sometimes a good ol' cash register will do the job fine. BOTTOM LINE: The work is great. The estimate they give you will be short of the final bill. Getting in and out is for now, very slow, I believe they will figure it out eventually. The place is geared for fancier installs, so if you want something inexpensive, be prepared for a sales pitch on why X or Y is better (and it probably is, but sometimes one can only afford so much). Make doubly sure of any appointment you make. The work is terrific, the process at this time leaves a lot to be desired. read more

My Ford Taurus SEL required a special adapter made by Metra, that cost almost two hundred dollars, that I had to buy just to put in an after-market radio. I naively bought the adapter and the radio I wanted and ordered them on-line. After they came in, and I found out that the connections in this Taurus were actually IN THE TRUNK!... and I would have to run all sorts of wiring through the car, pulling out replacing molding and digging through things... I decided that doing it myself was NOT a good idea. I looked up car audio installers and Streamline came up. It was only a few minutes from my house, so I decided to just stop by and ask what they would charge to do the work for me. They understood my position and were willing to help out. I was STUNNED at the price! The quote they gave me was extremely reasonable... actually less than I would have thought. I had anticipated a much higher price based on the fact that I bought the equipment elsewhere, which meant that they had lost all possibility of profit on the sale of that equipment, which is a part of any car audio dealer's business model. But no, they gave me a great install price. So I asked when the work could be done and Abraxas (I'm probably spelling her name wrong) told me that if I could leave the car, they would have it done that day! I called my wife and got a ride to work. Streamline called BEFORE LUNCH to tell me that my car was ready to go! I had a friend drop me off and I drove away with my new stereo installed. I looked through the car, through the trunk, examined the molding... the work was excellent and I could find no indication that anything was out of place in any way. To add icing to the cake, one of the workers stole my headphones and my connector piece to my aux cable, I confronted him about both and he returned it, but how unprofessional! I called around looking for a good price and excellent quality for tinting my windows. I just bought my Genesis Coupe 4 days ago so I wanted a place that has happy customers. These guys are awesome!!! I came in and they had different options on types of tint, I went with the carbon tint and it looks amazing! They are quick, the guy told me it would take about and hour and a half and they were right on schedule. I think the price I paid was fair, some places wanted to charge me close to $300 for tint they couldn't guarantee won't turn purple. These guys give a lifetime warranty on fading and turning purple and they were half the cost. I also like how the guys are willing to take a joke, I gave my keys to the guy that was going to do the work and I also threatened him at the same time cause I just bought the car so I don't trust anyone driving it. But the guy was cool and he even gave my car a kiss which I thought was funny. I highly recommend you come here for your window tinting. read more

However, after today, I wanted to redeem Streamline for getting it right this time. I appreciate all that the staff, especially Phil because the lengths he went through to make my second experience way better. Streamline Auto Sounds I recently purchased a 2008 Audi A3 without a working stereo. Then I purchased a new stereo and had it install at Best Buy. I've had numerous radios install by them and never had a problem, but the Audi installation was a mistake from the start. I had the same radio installed twice each time some different was wrong. Fed up I searched Yelp and found Streamline Auto Sounds. Upon assessing the vehicle the first word out of Drew's mouths were, you need a better radio, a double din (single din is the skinny radio found in most cars, a double din is fat radio with a large face plate). The radio he showed me was almost twice the price of the one currently in the car, but he told me once it was installed I would love it's look and sound. After much convincing I returned the radio back to Best Buy, paid the additional funds for the upgrade and return for the installation. The installation cost ended up being almost twice what was quoted, but that was due to the additional of parts required for Audi installation. One of the parts alone was $100, but Drew (not sure of the spelling), and his crew were able to custom wire it for half the price. The only reason I'll give 4.5 stars was because the installation took longer than quoted and a disagreement arose surrounding the cost of a part. I returned the next day, to speak with Drew and everything was worked out to my satisfaction. The technician even took the time to show me how to set the sound to my taste. Drew was right; I love the look and sound of my new system. In this world of me, me, me, it's very hard to find someone to trust, I was lucky I found Streamline Auto Sound. Yesterday (3/21) was the first time visiting streamline and it definitely won't be the last! I'm new to the area and wanted to find somewhere close to home that could tint my truck. I looked on yelp, and streamline was the closest. I called and Drew quoted me a realistic price and told me to bring it in right away and he would only take about 30 min. I arrived about ten minutes after calling, Drew pulled my truck in the shop, and surely it only took 30 min to add tint to the front two windows. I'm in shock in the short amount of time it took to install but that there was absolutely NO bubbles. I've gone to a shop before (I won't say their name lol) who alwaaaays left bubbles until day three or so. Streamline will definitely get my business in the future and plenty of referrals. I've been using Streamline for over 10 years for my car tinting and never had a problem with the work or service. They have tinted my Maxima, Azera, Mazdaspeed 6 and now my Infiniti M35H. I called another shop (closer) this time around for a quote and they were about 25% higher priced then Streamline, so I will keep going back. I don't think you will find a place to beat their price or service, your best bet is to go on a weekday as they get super busy on weekends. read more

The owner is a con artist!! As long as your spending money on their overpriced merchandise, they're 5 stars and all the bells and whistles. I needed 35% tint and a backup camera. He recommended 40% (unheard of until I met him) doing mathematics on me by telling me the 5% factory tint will be the same as 35%. He also will offer you a lifetime warranty and will not inform you of the $60 charge. Window tint (regular carbon) and backup camera (he stated Pioneer, coincidentally my stereo is Pioneer) grand total $500. That's nearly $200 more than the competition. Overcharging installation for both items installed plus $60. He stated the job would take 4 hrs and it was close to 5 hrs. Upon inspecting my vehicle, I noticed the tint was lighter than I wanted and brought this to his attention. He stated it was the shop bay lighting making the tint appear lighter. It was after business hrs and the owner wanted to close me out so he could leave. Now I'm waiting for the tint tech to finish and the owner is gone. I returned after 3 days as instructed to have the tint inspected by the shop. I wasn't happy with the tint and said so to the owner. He stated the 35 and 40% difference wasn't noticeable to the necked eye. I asked could I see for myself. He got the tint, placed white paper behind both tint's and I simply removed the paper and pointed to the obvious darker tint which was the 35%. Then he said he doesn't carry 35%, which he never stated initially. Now he is offering front windshield tint to let in less light and therefore the tint will appear darker. I asked how much and he quoted another $100. I looked at him like he was a crackhead. We went back and forth about everything in this review and his incredible mathematical breakdown for tint. On top of that, I have a Viper app installed on my vehicle similar to one the owner also tried to sell me on that was disabled for some by whomever and I had to have another Viper app installer reprogram. When I expressed my concern to the owner about my tint, I had the app issue as well but his lack of customer service force me to be done with Steamline. The actual person the installed the Viper advised me not to return becaused obviously they're not experienced installers. Worst experience ever with a tint/electronic shop. Beware and don't appear to have money to spend, he'll get it!! read more

I stopped by Streamline last week to get an estimate on a double din and back up camera install. Honestly, wasn't planning on getting it installed anytime soon but wanted to get an idea of what it'd cost. The guys at Streamline emailed me with a complete estimate breakdown and through my many questions and concerns, they were quick and professional. After such outstanding customer service, I decided to go ahead and get the install complete. Set up an appointment and had the unit put in. Absolutely pleased!! Such professional work. Clean! Made all after market work flow so well with my truck that it looks like it belonged the whole time. I sat in my driveway for hours playing with my new set up. For over 8 yrs streamline has taken care of my window tints, radio, sub-woofers, amplifiers installation. I took my boyfriend here for remote start, and window tint as well. My father and friends also use streamline. They have a lifetime warranty for their window tint, haven't being to find another place in the area with this kind of warranty. I was looking for a good place to get the speakers in my car replaced and found this gem on here. I called them and asked if they could do it same day and the guy said sure to bring it right over. I got front and back speakers replaced at a good price. They were super nice and it was really fast. I could not had been happier because the next day I was going on a long road trip and was able to enjoy my music during the very long drive. The sound was amazing. I plan to go back to maybe get a new radio system as well that had blue tooth so I wouldn't have to worry about messing with one of those annoying ear pieces. read more

I actually want to give 4 1/2 stars. I've gone to Streamline 3 times within the past month. First to replace my factory speakers and amp with aftermarket speakers (components in the front; coax in the rear) and amp for the speakers. And also sound deadener in the front doors (they were supposed to do other areas of deadener but I guess they forgot). I dropped it off Saturday morn. and picked it up at the end of the day. I appreciated that during the installation process they called me to tell me that they would have to do some custom work for my front speakers; and made sure I was ok with it before proceeding. I appreciated that they finished my car and waited for me to get there even though they had closed. I appreciated that when I got there, instead of rushing me, they walked me to my car so we could take a listen. I liked how they put the JBL covers on my tweeters (as opposed to the factory ones). That was a good look. Although I wish the left side was sitting as straight as the right side. And they installed my amp professionally behind the back seat with all wires hidden. Fernando did the work and he was a very nice guy. Unfortunately the ANC in my car was making a loud sound. Although Fernando was in his car and getting ready to leave, he came to see what problem I was having. Unfortunately I couldn't get it taken care of because they were closed (and I didn't have the how-to directions). I had to do it myself on Sunday (they were closed and the noise was too loud). My sound wasn't sounding quite right after driving with it more and then I noticed that the speakers were coming out of their opposite sides. I called them and went back the next week. I explained the issue and that I could not be too late for work. The young lady who answers the phone sometimes and takes the service slips assured me that they would get me outta there in good time. They took care of me right away and Fernando happily fixed it up proper and had it sounding right! I appreciated his patience and enjoyed his Bachata music. I went back this week because I needed to deaden up the rear/trunk area; there was too much rattle and it was ruining the music. Also I wanted the factory sub removed. Again I called and I was able to go the next morning. I had to wait for it this time (which I was well aware of). It took a little longer than expected. Mr. Smith (i did not meet him) worked on it and he too did a good job. So thanks to Drew (who is very nice and accomodating), Fernando and Mr. Smith who all made my ride sound so sweet and loud. It was a work in progress and I am very pleased. I am especially pleased with the customer service as that is very important to me. I am a female and I didn't feel brushed over or disregarded so holla at Streamline. They are also very personable. I'm glad I found a new good spot. I will return. And I definitely recommend them. Prices seemed fair; not as high as some others. And overall, they do good work. read more
