I had this place hook up a sound system in my Mercedes a year and half ago, when I picked it up I knew that it didn't sound right. I went back many different times to talk with them and try to figure out the problem, they told me it was my amp, so I sent my amp back to JL to make sure it was fine and to fix any problems if it had one "cost me 250 dollars to JL" and then even bought two new JLw6's from street beat when I got my amp back from JL. It still didn't sound right, the installer told me if I didn't like the sound of the w6's that he would trade it for different subs. I didn't want to deal with the Hassle of doing that "again" so I just went on with a weak sounding 2,500 dollar system. I stopped by a different shop in town and had them look at my car last weekend and they told me that the amp was hooked up to a weak door speaker single and was only getting a tiny bit of power. I spent another 90.00 bucks and the other shop fixed my problem after my 18 month headache of trying to make this sound right. I wasted many trips too street beat over the last year and half. The guys are nice, they just hooked my amp up wrong in the long run. Great place to buy JL subs tho. read more

I had Street Beats install a remote start in my vehicle. I was very pleased with the professionalize attention I received. I arrived about 5-10 minutes before my appointment. The technician asked me my name and explained to me that I could have a seat as they were not quite opened. He opened the door and put my car inside and then he finished open up the store. Once the store was opened he got started on my vehicle, once the work was completed the technician took the time to explain how the system worked. Showed me how to start it and also explained to me about safety issues. Because of how I was treated I have already recommended several people to street beats to have a new stereo or have the remote start installed. We always charge a fair price (we do handle high end equipment to entry level,) so we have price points for every customer. You are welcome to compare apples to apples to other shops in this marketplace. This looks like a sabotage to the business. As a owner, we always want to make sure the customer is correct and if there is a issue, and it has always been rectified before resorting to a review page. Street Beats has great customer service and quality products. Sure some of them are pricey but you get what you pay for. There is a reason if the product is pricey. They have several lines that are exclusive to them and you can't get anywhere else in Wichita. They have equipment at every price point. The new owners stand behind their lifetime installation warranty and go out of their way to help customers. I've never had a problem with anyone there, plus their new building is awesome! read more

How to remote start installed in my car 10 years ago had a problem with it the other day and took it to them they fixed it right away. So the installation was a lifetime warranty. I had a very bad experience there. They OVERCHARGE for everything. I tried to work things out with the new owner's after I realized they overcharged me.
