What a great store for European footwear! I can say I never expected to find this in Santa Fe! I first went in looking at On Cloud shoes which seem to be all the rage. The store was busy, but I still had someone assisting me almost immediately. When I said I wear a 38 in European sizes, she didn't even blink. Turns out I wear a 38.5 in the ON Cloud 5.0's. I just wasn't sold on the shoes. The next day, I decided to give them another try and luckily the store was not as busy. I knew my size from the previous day and had a nice chat with an employee from Scotland who was great! These shoes have become so popular they no longer had the white color, so I bought the denim-blue ones. This is exactly how all shoes stores should be organized and operated! read more

I was on vacation in Santa Fe New Mexico. I found an amazing shoe store right in the hotel we were staying in, La Fonda on the Plaza. During the shutdown I had trouble buying shoes online. None of the shoes I ordered fit me. Chaz at Street Feet was wonderful. She helped me find 3 pairs that fit really well. She even put in insoles when they were needed and customized the fit. This store has great European brand shoes and a lovely selection. I initially enjoyed shopping for shoes and was hopeful that I would find something stylish that would meet the requirements of my plantar fasciitis. However, I could not get past the way the saleswoman treated my friend who was also shopping. The arrogance with with she spoke to my friend, disregarding her sizing requirements (trying to push a smaller shoe), and the way she answered questions I asked of my friend that were private (albeit shoe related) was beyond rude. It was so distasteful that it made the entire experience uncomfortable and we left without shoes we were hoping to purchase. I realized times are difficult given the past 18 months of COVID, but there is really no reason to behave in this fashion. read more

I hadn't shopped Street Feet before, assuming their prices were out of my league. But as I passed the other day, a beautiful pair of shoes got my attention. I tried them on & was surprised how comfortable they were - Good heavens, have I really been wearing such uncomfortable shoes!?! I was born with problem feet and as I got older I've had problems walking. The price wasn't out of my league either - about the same as other places I've shopped. Plus learning that I had to buy a different size for each foot, I was offered a nice discount. I was in love!! I wore the shoes for the rest of the day and was so comfortable that the next week I went back and found 2 different & equally comfortable shoes - and was given a discount again!! I'm not easy to fit so much thanks to Chaz and Linda for their patience and suggestions. Thank you, Street Feet. It is such a joy to walk pain free. read more

Went in today and they did not have my shoe size in the color I wanted. I also wanted to know if the boots came in half sizes which the saleswoman said she was unsure of. I looked on my phone to see if the shoes came in half sizes and immediately the saleswoman came over smiling, while chiming in that I've done my research and to just buy the shoes somewhere else in a condescending tone, naming all the stores in town. I couldn't help but think it wasn't my fault that their store was picked over or that they were unhelpful. As I went over to the sale rack again, the worker then came over with the same permagrin acting as if nothing had happened encouraging me to look at the sale rack. Abusive saleswomen. I will never buy anything from your store again. read more

This shop has an amazing collection of comfortable shoes. I walked in there with blisters on my feet and the lovely saleswoman told me she had just the shoes for me. "They are like nothing." She was so right. With a soft pair of socks I was able to walk miles that day with my new shoes touring beautiful Santa Fe. These shoes are more comfortable than sneakers and I wear them all the time for long walks. I just wished I lived closer so I could shop here more open. read more

Darling clothes... But someone needs to do a little workshop with the staff on how to Positively engage potential customers...3 of us came in from observing the mountains so we were dressed very casually, but the sign does say Street Feet, any how from the get go it was awkward. Redirecting us to the hanging selection that didn't have the correct size anyway so they had to take it out of the cellophane wrapper and upon trying it on they didn't give her the right size... Moving on I myself was standing in front of the long mirror and instead of being asked to move when an actual customer came out of the dressing room, we were told to stand in front of the doors while my friend was still looking at buying a shirt AND The other customer hadn't even come out of the dressing or for that matter hadn't even gone in the dressing room!!! My my, are we a little uppity? Or did she think we had no money? I can't decide, all I know from previous jobs as a sales clerk in nicer stores than this one... This would never do. Back in college when I worked retail, we did role playing... Maybe this would help their staff know how to engage customers in a pleasant way and make a sale! I bought a pair of shoes at Street Feet last July. Recently, one of the shoes fell apart. I emailed the store with pictures and details. The store gave me a full refund, including the sales tax! No problem, no questions asked. It is easy when all goes right. However, Street Feet made it easy when it went wrong. What great customer service! BTW, the store has great selections, not only of shoes. My wife and I will shop there again when we return to Santa Fe. It is truly rewarding to find such a great store! read more

This review is based on the customer service. The night before, my mom and I walked past the window of the shop and she liked some of the shirts we saw on display. We made a point to come back today when it was open. When you go in the shop, there are shelves directly below the window that had folded piles of the shirts in the window. We were looking at them for a minute - picked up and unfolded one, and were lightly touching another pile to look for a particular shirt, when the saleswoman (who had completely ignored us so far) interrupted herself while helping another customer to rush over to tell us in an irritated tone, "All of the shirts are on display there" (pointing to the back wall of the store). That was it. Her intention was clearly not to help us while we were reasonably looking through the most accessible area of the store, but to reprimand us. We were a little taken aback but dutifully moved to the back wall to look at the shirts. After awhile, she seemed to rethink her initial approach, and came over to say something about other sizes available (though still not particularly friendly), but by then we didn't feel much like shopping anymore. If it were just me, I probably would have been annoyed but just brushed it off, but it really bothered me that she talked to my mom this way, especially when she had been so cutely excited about the shirts just before. We could have been this saleswoman's customers, but she treated us like a nuisance. Was it because we are Asian? I don't know, but we were the only people of color in the store and I didn't see her talking like that to anyone else. read more

I love this store! They have THE best selection of cute AND comfortable shoes on the Western Hemisphere! I'm on their email list and they always let me know when new things arrive. After getting an email that the new Fall styles of my favorite brand were in the store, I drove up to Santa Fe ( I live in Albuquerque) to check things out. Wow! I tried on 3 pair of amazing pikolino boots and purchased 1. I also fell in LOVE with a pair of hand woven Spanish boots that were sold out in my size. But before I could panic, the salesgirl let me know that more were on their way from Spain and took my name and number to let me know when my size came back in. They've done this for me a couple of times before. You can tell that the salespeople here really love shoes and want you have your favorite pair. I am very excited to get my next call from Street Feet! read more

Disappointed is too subtle of a word to describe my dismal experience in this store!!! I visited this store last year and LOVED the shoe and boot selection and made a purchase. Unfortunately, after trying them on 48 hour later I realized the shoes were not a comfortable fit. When a return was attempted for the NEVER worn shoes, I was informed of the 24 hour return policy!!!! How ridiculous is that?? I decided to give them a second try this visit. The selection was amazing with some unusual choices. My friends and I were very interested in making a purchase but changed our minds due to the incredibly rude service from the staff! Never have I seen such inconsiderate, demeaning treatment from sales staff in the business of selling merchandise! The way we were treated was outrageous.... They were reluctant to check for sizes, made comments about us behind our backs and simply displayed unprofessionalism. We decided to not give our money to this store and spent our money elsewhere!!!!! Never, never, never will we shop here again and DO NOT recommend this store to anyone!!!!! read more

This is the Most unfriendly store in Santa Fe. Last year, my out of town friend bought boots that didn't fit well after she got home. We returned two days later only to find out they have a ridiculous 24 hour return policy! Total crap. This year, 2016, we again visited, trying to give them another chance. One sales clerk was quite nice, but then the other clerk came to help who was rolling her eyes, telling us "I told you so" when a shoe did not fit. She did not offer to check to see if she could order my size, instead turning her back to me and my out of town friends, whispering and practically pointing at us. I will Never go there again, nor will I take my out of town friends in to spend their money in that store. I was embarrassed given the rude treatment we received. read more

The shoes are beautiful. The prices are high, reflecting the high quality of shoes. I've been willing to pay the prices for gorgeous shoes, to support a local business. But I agree with the other reviews - the sales people are snotty and when I was in the other day, one was downright rude. This again, was the older one, not the younger one, who was quite nice. This store does have some fabulous shoe that are different from shoes you find anywhere else in the area. I do have to agree that the customer service is worse than awful. My wife and I visit Santa Fe at least once a year. This store, located in the La Fonda Hotel, is one of our usual stops. The last time we visited, my wife bought a David Kline blouse which we both like. This year they had a special sale going on as they are in the midst of a remodel to join their adjacent boot/shoe store (where my wife bought two pair of boots and socks). Prices were amazing for high quality clothing, the staff is helpful, knows their inventory, and are never pushy. They usually wear the clothes they sell. My wife ended up getting an Indigenous brand sweater, three Tangelo shirts, a silk blouse, and a scarf, all at 50% off. Sherry helped with getting proper sizes and assisting with exchanging items while in the changing room. We look forward to seeing the store when they finish the remodel. The hotel bar is also undergoing a remodel. We would definitely recommend this shop. read more
