If we could rare this place lower than a 1 star we would. I am writing this on behalf of my boyfriend who took his 2014 SRT8 Jeep to see Eddie. We had heard great things about him. The jeep was brought into switch chrome to be blacked out. When we brought the jeep there it had EVERY PIECE IT CAME WITH WHEN HE BOUGHT IT OFF THE SALES FLOOR. Not to mention Eddie said this would only take 1 day as he was not to busy. When we didn't get a call the day of to let us know the jeep was ready. We of course called and spoke directly to Eddie who told us he got caught up on tinting other cars @ the jeep would be ready the next day at noon. When my boyfriend & his buddy went to go pick the jeep up at about 2pm (after he called again to confirm they could pick it up & it was finished). As mentioned above when the jeep was brought to Street Image it had every piece it left the show room floor with. When they arrived my boyfriend noticed that one single roof rack was missing? HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? There was dirt under where the roof rack should have been, it poured rain yesterday & all the screws were placed back in. Eddie told my boyfriend that his technician mentioned it not being there & they don't have any cameras to prove anything. We will be providing a video of the vehicle leaving our home on the day of drop off. Be prepared Eddie to pay for what happened at your shop. No one we know will ever be referred here as we got horrible customer service all around. Not even an apology. Do yourself a favor and do not being your vehicle here. Totally sucks, I had bubbles on every window and all Eddie could say is I'll give you your money back. I had to ask him to strip the tint. When I asked him I heard the sigh. I went to get my money back and offered to have someone else do the stripping job because I was concerned for my defrosters and all he could say was, "oh no they are strong." I asked him to comp me for how much it was going to cost for the other tint shop to strip iot and he refused. I just don't trust Eddie with all the lies he has been pulling. read more

This review is long overdue. I received a 5 window tint job and roof wrap from this place last year. A few months later I noticed tiny bubbles in my rear and passenger side windows. I called and spoke to Eddie, who I believe is the owner and he said stop by and he'll check it out. He looked it over and told me he'd redo the job personally. So, I scheduled an appt with him. The day of my 10a appt, I didn't get in until 10:30-10:45a. I drop my car off, let them know specifically that Eddie is going to redo my tint job and I leave. Around 12p I call to see what's up with my car and it was then they informed me that Eddie was out of town and that their "tint guy" was working on my car. More than likely the same guy who fudged it up the last time. They tell me my car should be done soon and they'll call me. They call, I pick up my car, notice some of the exact same bubbles from before, let them know and see. They tell me call and we'll schedule another day you can come back. So, I have a dash cam that runs every time my car is on. And they just so happen to leave my car running during the time they're working on my car. Curious as to what they were doing since it wasn't fixing my tints, I listen to the audio and pretty much it's a bunch of squeaky noises like they tried to rub the bubbles out. I was called picky, they claimed they were spending too much time on my car, and one guy was heard saying, "F*** this and f*** her." Nice! I saved the footage as well. read more

He also shares the shop with a body repair specialist named Edgar. While getting my windows tinted I got some advice from Edgar on fixing some key marks on my car. I had high expectations for their price on tire sticker decals! I was absolutely disappointed, they guaranteed me great quality. It was deposed to be ready in a week , come to find out when I got there, that they ordered the wrong size and I had to wait another week after already commuting over there. I came to Street Image back when it was Street Shades and only Eddie worked at the shop. I loved the way it was run, set up, and straight forward. I still kept the business card. I called in for a quote yesterday for my accord coupe, after looking at their prices online. Their advertised price for a full all around tint on a coupe is $160. I called in and they said it would be $180 for my accord. When I reminded them of their pricing on their website they went into a pitch about how it's "professionally done and quality inspected" and how it's harder to do on some cars, including mine, and I figured okay, it's 20 dollars more, and with the 10% off I'll still get a good deal. I told them i'd try to find a ride and call back to schedule an appointment. I found a ride and called back and when I confirmed how much it would be, they raised the price another 10 dollars to 190 and then went into an explanation about how he looked into the application and my car is more difficult to do, which he already said when he told me $180. I scheduled an appointment, and then soon after found ACJ Window Tinting in Hayward, who is currently doing my whole car for 160 with a lifetime warranty. Got my 2015 Ford Mustang tinted and wrapped here. From the beginning, Eddie was super helpful and answered any questions I had. He got me the earliest date possible. This was actually the first time I've been here, and I'm so glad that I decided on choosing this place over other places in the bay. I was calling places around the area and they were giving me ridiculous quotes on tinting only my back window. This place only asked for half of the price everywhere else was asking. The guys I talked to, Eddie (I think), was a really cool dude. He even gave me a discount on my tint!! The only small problem I had was it took a while but I think it was because my old tint was REALLY messed up so they were just slowly working on it so they wouldn't mess anything up. I spoke with Eddie over the phone to get an appointment. He handled my work order. Bare in mind, they're booked pretty solid, so your appointment could be a 3-4 days after your call. The work typically takes 3 hours, my windows on my Impreza are sorta dirty, so I figured it'd be that long. I got 30% on the front and 20% on the rear. I'm very pleased with the work so far from what I've seen. I saw them work on my car for a few minutes, they were pretty meticulous with the installation details, even on my old ass car. It's the first time I've ever tinted any car I've owned, mine was long overdue for one. I'll definitely take my next car here to get tinted. It's $180 cash, but there may be a check in discount on Yelp (be sure to redeem it later when you pick up the car). Called at 10:30am, was given a quote over the phone, and was given an appointment for 1pm the same day. Went to the shop, and was out of there in less than 30 minutes. Also, several of my coworkers have nice sports cars and they all recommended I come here. The person I spoke to to schedule my appointment was very friendly. Called for a retinting on my car. Had it overlooked and they said it's bad. They added 40 dollars to what they originally told me. I figure okay it's reasonable apparently really bad too. I reschedule because I was told they need more time for a window that bad. A week goes by and the day before my appointment they call me saying the owner doesn't want to do it and I'm better off getting the window replaced then tinted because it's so bad and I'd lose my defrosters( they stressed about the defrosters and losing them a lot) So after that bs I went to another place the next day not too far from them and they removed the tint no problem AND I STILL GOT MY DEFROSTER LINES.
