He was exceptionally personable and helped me decide which storage facility would be best for my needs. I let him know the date I would be coming to the area and to please make sure to have a climate controlled facility available to me. He did as promised. When I arrived Andrew was ready to lend a hand in helping my friend and I unload our truck. During the process, my friend fell ill, and Courtney the other employee at the storage facility made sure to come out with several bottles of cold water and help Andrew with getting all of my belongings out of our moving truck. I was extremely impressed with how well they packed the storage unit and took such care with my personal items. I have been back several times to the storage facility and each time I'm here the guys are always ready to lend a hand if I need it. I can't say enough positive things about my experience here and I will recommend A A Storage in Porter's Neck to everyone needing a place to store their stuff.

Nothing I could really do. They had me between a rock and a hard place! Six months later, I was told my rate was going up to $398, now a 80% increase! OMG! So from $155 to $398 in 8 months (a 257% increase)! That is not fair, it is robbery. Legally, GoStoreIt should not be able to do this type of increase. Totally wrong and unfair and won't use them ever again and will let everyone I know to beware!

I rented a storage unit at Go Store It Self Storage (20 Garris Rd, Wilmington, NC 28403) and was assigned a 3rd-floor unit. When I arrived to move in, the elevator was completely broken. The on-site manager openly admitted they could not fix it, and multiple tenants confirmed the elevator had been out of service for days -- meaning the company knowingly rented upper-floor units that were effectively unusable. That's not an inconvenience -- it's deceptive and irresponsible. I contacted corporate customer service expecting a basic level of professionalism. Instead, I was met with indifference and refusal. There was a first-floor unit available, yet they refused to move me as a courtesy, despite the fact that THEIR facility was not functioning as advertised. Their solution? Charge me an additional $30 per month to access a usable unit. In other words, I was forced to pay extra for their failure. That is a textbook bait-and-switch. This company took my money while providing a non-functional facility, showed zero accountability, and pushed the cost of their neglect onto the customer. Renting a 3rd-floor unit without a working elevator is unacceptable and borderline fraudulent. If you're considering this location, be warned: equipment may not work, management won't help, and you'll be expected to pay more just to get what you already paid for. Avoid this place unless you enjoy frustration, wasted time, and being taken advantage of.

(Wilmington, NC) was burglarized. I lost thousands of dollars worth of items. Thief/thieves nearly completely cleaned my unit. I was devastated. The office person of the storage facility told me she thought it happened over the weekend and that 9 or 10 other units had also been broken into. The lock had been pried off the door of my unit. The storage unit is fenced in and has a gate code to enter. The thieves took an entire large garment rack with most of my clothes on it, which tells me they had to have been driving to take all of what they did. I recently had to purchase new clothes for the winter as they took most of clothes I had for cold weather. I had taken much time to build up a small nest egg for myself of essentials and wants to have when I moved into my new place. Most of that was taken from me in probably a matter of hours.
