Very good, very traditional street tacos which we ordered on corn tortillas. My husband had the fish tacos and said they were as good as those we get in Mexico. I ordered the steak tacos on corn tortillas, they were great but could have used some pico de Gallo. We started with a basket of chips and some salsa, perfectly acceptable. Recently, Street Taco has moved from a truck to a physical location, and it is amazing. The owner is the sweetest woman ever, and makes sure that everything is great. They have a small restaurant that feels like you're in her home kitchen, and a decent sized menu. We tried the cantaloupe juice and horchata, and both were really great. You can try a sample it you'd like. As for food, we had to do tacos at least on our first visit, so we tried the Pork (fantastic flavor and very tender meat), the Barbacoa (tasted more like what I'd think Chorizo would be with powerful seasoning, but still cooked well, tasted great, and was even better with a little lime), and surprisingly, my favorite was the Fish (NOT battered and deep fried, thank goodness-the dressing, pick, and avocado with it were all on point!) Stopped in for a quick bite driving through. I was blown away by how good this was. I had a pork carnitas taco and beef barbacoa taco and a beef empanada. All of it was delicious. Pickens has an outsized number of Mexican restaurants, but Street Tacos is my first choice. The original menu with street-style tacos has a lot of flavorful options at very good prices. The tacos de birria tastes great; it's perfect for cold fall/winter days; and at 3 for $10.75 it is filling at an incredible value. This is a truly family-owned restaurant, and they are so friendly. The chile poblano is also a good choice. The newer menu items (from after the ownership change) are basically the same as the other places in town. read more

This is the best authentic Mexican food in Easley! The menu right now is really small but the food is huge! All of the tacos (chicken, fish, steak, shrimp) are delicious. We've had them all. They have a red and green sauce u can use. USE them! They are both delicious! Their corn tortillas are crispy sort of. I can't stand strong corn tortillas but there's are like no other. They use just the right amount of meat and toppings. I went on a Saturday and she had fresh juiced cantaloupe and watermelon juice as well as fresh cut fruit to purchase. Man, I love good Mexican food. There are so many options out there for Mexican food, some good and many bad. Street Tacos is a very small, unassuming place. Unlike some Mexican places you will not find a huge menu, as the name says it specializes in Mexican "fast food" tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas...a limited menu also means what they do, they do right. She has added empanadas to the menu and I got them today and they were delicious, not a regular crust but from masa and fried and lots of lettuce, queso fresco and some avocado as toppers. The burritos are always yummy too. And one of the best parts is the owner herself. Maria is friendly and makes you feel like you're the only customer there. All in all the best. read more
