I had 3 Steak tacos in soft corn tortillas which came with a side of rice and beans to die for. I was already almost full because the chips and salsa were so good but I persevered and continued to eat. My husband had the chicken with vegetables, which were greens, onions, mushrooms, in a creamy sauce, which came with a side of tortillas, and rice and beans. Fast delivery of food. Service was ok given the language barrier. Atmosphere is good. Outdoor dining is available but I didn't see a tv out there. We dined in. Had the arroz texano (rice with steak, chicken, and shrimp) and a margherita. Both were very good. Solid 2.5 to 3 stars. My big problem with here is that the prices on the menus aren't the actual prices you are charged. Everything was a couple dollars more than stated. When I asked about it, they mentioned something about a sign. I get it, updating all your menus can be expensive but I feel like it's the cost of doing business. Alternatively, before seating someone - tell them. Pointing to some obscure sign to justify a different price seems a scummy move. read more

Even after I placed an order and realized that it contained an item that I was allergic to (& it happened to be during their busiest time of day.) Food was pretty good. It was extremely busy especially for a small trailer that had been added on to. Location is difficult to park in - too narrow lane to back out of. Worst part is they charge $1 for any little thing. Our bill had several $1 charges added to it but we did not know why. One in our party just wanted a taco. She was charged $1 for some tomatoes added on it and $1 for onions added to it. Taco only cost $2.99 but usual toppings were not included. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. It doesn't come out of a box. We started with the beef and cheese nachos. I could have easily made this my meal, it was so good. I decided on the flautas with steak. It came with a sour cream and guacamole salad. Your choice of rice and beans. The flautas were wonderful and looked hand made. The rice was excellent also. The atmosphere is upbeat with customers shuffling about and they sure pack em in there. For the price and menu, I give this place a big thumbs up. Good food, great vibe. Only gripe is ventilation not too great, you'll be leaving the place smelling like sizzled steak. Will I bring guests here? For sure, but they should be brief about the ventilation. read more

Wonderful!! Every time that we go, the food and service is excellent. My husband had the special, which was Pollo Hawaiino (sp?). Since I wasn't feeling too well, I had the chicken Soup. The bowl of soup was huge and delicious!! I told my husband that I could have ordered another for lunch tomorrow. My husband's chicken was served on a fajita pan. There was so much of it that he had to take half home. The staff is always friendly and quick. It is our local "go to" and once you trt it it will be yours too! Trying something new tonight- Queso Flameado De chorizo. Hubby ordered the Arroz Texans. I must say this restaurant has truly redeemed itself. At one point we would travel to Anderson just to get good Mexican food but then one night we wanted the close to home fix because it was a late dinner for us. We had noticed a new menu so we thought ok...and as mentioned we ordered the queso flameado de chorizo-that as my dish and it was a medley of Mexican sausage and grilled chicken with shredded cheese and rice and beans. His dish included rice with steak, chicken and shrimp. It also had grilled broccoli, zucchini and cheese dip over the top. The Mexican guacamole had cilantro, avocado, tomato, jalapeño and lime. The ladies are always so sweet and the owners go out of their way to say hello and make sure you are enjoying your experience. We will be back...regularly . Al and his son, Jose are amazing and they truly do care about their customers and their dishes are always fresh and authentic. read more

I really like the food! The tres compadres is my favorite item to get. Their meat is seasoned well and their cheese dip is very good. The prices aren't bad and the service is pretty quick. Whenever I am driving back from Easley to Anderson, I make sure to pick up food from this great Mexican restaurant. Their portions are generous and they always package food well for take out. I was having a really hard day, and this restaurant changed that. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Restaurant was full of regular customers. The waitstaff was pleasant, laughing and happy to be there. The lunch quesadilla was perfect. I ordered a cheese dip on the side. Very fairly priced. They bring out plenty of salsa for each table.
