Last night while craving something extra delicious.. my brain immediately shouted "Street to Table!" Not one to ignore my intuition, I jumped in my car and headed about 6 miles down Merrick Rd and got there about 45 minutes before closing. Lucky for me, the kitchen was still open so I ordered their beer battered fried chicken sandwich, a side elote' and also a nice cold glass of Kona Big Wave Golden Ale. The owner Tejan was there and it was cool seeing him in action. I used to be a waiter back in the day and I would have loved to have had a boss like him. From the bartender to the bus boy to the chef.. everyone was all smiles and in my experience, that certainly reflects great management styles and an awesome work environment. On top of the personable service, the food is outstanding! The elote' was perfectly seasoned and the fried chicken sandwich had the perfect amount of crunch in each bite. And the beer you ask? It's a very small place with loud music and a young vibe. i had the nashville hot chicken sandwich. it was more like buffalo chicken as i tasted the frank's hot sauce. cole slaw was good but the sandwich was very salty so i wouldn't try that again. other items we got were the ramen with veggies which was enjoyable and a cheeseburger. they give you plastic utensils and hunts ketchup packets which i found the latter disappointing given the hfcs in it. Went there this evening; let me tell you, AMAZING SERVICE. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the woman behind the bar (sorry, I don't know her name). We were seated in 5 minutes or less. Our waitress was Emily, and she gave us the best service. She was warm, welcoming, and loved her energy. You can always tell who genuinely enjoys their job. But anyway, we ordered the dorito mozzarella, and it didn't taste like cool ranch at all, but it wasn't bad; I just wouldn't order it again. I ordered the Narragansett fried chicken sandwich, and it was so delicious, and the chicken was juicy. That's a must try! We also got the Flamin cheetos fried chicken sandwich, and that was definitely a bit much, lol, but definitely tasty. Make sure you like spicy food before you order that one. Came here on a Thursday evening to finally see what this place is all about. The music is loud when you walk in but it isn't too loud you can't hear across the table! The walls are filled with graffiti and stickers. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. Thought it was very cute inside from first glance. Very strong but also delicious We started off with the nacho cheese Doritos mozz sticks. The cheese pull on these things were insane!!! So crunchy on the inside and so ooey gooey cheese on the inside. Was absolutely a fan of these! I got the ramen stir fry. I don't even know where to start. The noodles were perfect- soaked in flavor! These definitely had a kick to them in the best way. I normally hate mushrooms and would've had them taken out but when they're cooked down they add so much flavor. I shockingly even ate the mushrooms that's how good this dish was!!! So much shrimp, enough for every bite! This dish was insane and I highly recommend it if you come here! My friend got the friend chicken sandwich. The fries were soooo good (I pretty much ate all of them haha). I did try a bite of his sandwich and the chicken was so fresh and crunchy!!! I was fortunate enough to attend a Yelp Elite event here. I will definitely return on my own (and with friends) for a good time hang ! This place is fairly small but has BIG energy. Chicken had a nice crunch when you bite in. Then it the flavors just explode. Really well done wings. Fried Mac and Cheese Ball - THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT PEOPLE! The ball is huge yes, but the flavor is PERFECT the outside crisp and crunch of the breading with the gooey cheese inside. Its not like drenched in cheese sauce which is a nice change. Chicken Quesadilla - this is not your standard quesadilla. There is quac in it and I'm sure a huge fan but I did try the chicken that was inside and it was well seasoned and tasted great. I'm sure others also enjoyed it. Mac and Cheese with pulled pork - nicely down Mac and cheese was doing what it needed to do but then pulled pork on top with that drizzle of BBQ was exactly what it needed to take it to the next level. A perfect balance as well of not too much sauce. French Fries - Meh. They didn't taste like fries? I don't know they were off and just cardboard like which was disappointing. You have so much fried stuff then to drop the ball on the fries is just . Maybe it was a bad batch? Who knows others might enjoy it (my friend did) they just weren't up to my french fry standard. I really wanted to like this place. After seeing it on YouTube and reading the yelp reviews we decided to give it a try. The ambiance looks like a dive bar inside and looks like a fun place to catch a football game. Our server Jordan was attentive and friendly and managed being the only server during a little lunch rush really well. She was great! For our main we shared the surf n' turf burger that has 3oz of fresh lobster on top with an amazing lobster sauce to pour on top. And of course you know we had to finish with the Fried Oreos. Everything here hit all the spots! We gotta come back for their Mac n' cheese topped burger and their Flamin' Cheetos fried chicken sandwich where even the bun is coated in the Cheetos and fried - insane! I've had my eye on this place for awhile (pretty sure I bought a Groupon pre-covid..), but just came here for the first time. Happy to report that this place lives up to the hype! I ordered the Flaming Cheetos Mozzarella Triangles and the Burrata Penne Pasta. The mozzarella Triangles were SO, SO good. They were so crispy on the outside with the best cheese inside. They weren't spicy, which I was hoping they would be, but still perfect. I can confirm eating then after sitting at the bar for an hour, and leftovers this morning..still had the perfect crisp. The pasta was a big surprise. The burrata was perfect and the a la vodka sauce was super flavorful. You could taste onion and garlic. The sauce was incredible and I wasn't expecting that. It was served in a Chinese food container, which actually kept everything warm (maybe unintentional genius). My boyfriend had the tandoori wings, tacos, and a cocktail and raved about everything. Employees were really nice. Space is pretty small, so make reservations if you want a table. We had no problem grabbing seats at the bar semi-early on a Friday. A week later and I am still thinking about the food. Their menu is pretty limited which only means that they do what they do well. This resturant has a unique twist on everything and we had to give it a try. The ramen noodles were absolutely delicious. I had it with the steak and I believe it was teriyaki sauce. I personally don't like so office I didn't put it in which they had no issue with. It was so delicious I am still thinking about it. The veggie quesadilla was nicely packed with veggies and cheese and a good balance of both. Clearly it was so good I didn't even get a picture before invite was taken. The peanut butter wings were not on the menu but I saw them on Instagram. I asked for them and they had no issue offering them. I really did enjoy them and thought they were really good but I didn't like the blue cheese that was given with it. I would suggest a Fluff dip. Side note. There was a con... the service timing. 1 guy working nearly everything from the bar to the ordering to the serving. I am pass the point of reducing Stars just because of this type of service. The people themselves were awesome and by that I mean the one person running it. There seemed to be a guy that was there working but he wasn't very helpful at all just seemed to stand there and Converse with one particular couple. My friends and I tried to come here during the "outdoor dining only" phase of covid bur due to their limited space the wait was long and we left. Wednesday night we finally made it back and it was wonderful! It happened to be trivia night and we had a blast! We shared the flaming hot Cheetos fried mozzarella, fried pickles, loaded nachos, ramen and the Thai chili shrimp tacos. The ramen was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go back just for that. The tacos, nachos, pickles and fried cheese were my next favorites in that order. I was a little disappointed that the flaming hot cheese wasn't spicy at all-still tasty though! I started off with the classic margarita in a pouch, which was well-made, strong, and delicious. The place isn't the biggest, but has great ambiance - but it's the food that will keep me coming back. I split the Hot Cheeto Mozzarella Sticks, Fried Mac and Cheese, Quesadilla, Chicken Tacos, and Sweet Baby Ray's Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip. Every. Single. Dish. Was. Incredible. The cheese pull on the mozz sticks and the cheesiness of the fried mac and cheese were to die for. But the Chicken Tacos were probably one of the best things I've ever eaten, period. I'm not sure quite what it was - the seasoning on the chicken, the grilled peppers and onion on top, or something else - but the flavor of those tacos was phenomenal and by far the best taco I've ever eaten. Came here for the first time with family, immediately greeted by gracious bartender and waitress. Food was amazing, we got the Thai chili shrimp tacos, Philly cheesesteak, and Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich. All of the food was immaculate and came out at a reasonable time.
