I had an enjoyable evening with friends at this cozy tavern. Our booth was extra comfy and it was family friendly. My sangria was a little spicy but good. The dry rub wings and calamari were delicious. The entree orders were big portions with plenty to take home. I enjoyed the lemon chicken with mashed potatoes, artichoke and capers. My friends enjoyed the burger with unlimited fries (yummy). The service was excellent and the waitress was very patient and polite. I would definitely go back to try more items on the menu

My parents took my husband and I to The George as they have been plenty of times and we were very impressed. The atmosphere is nice and busy, but I love the concept of all the pictures of famous people named George spread across the restaurant. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Fondue for the table and it was the best I ever had! I could eat that for every meal. We also ordered the wings and then everybody got their own entree! Everything was flavorful and delicious. I would like to frequent here more because it is just that good!

Perfect 4 star location. The food is good but with some issues, the interior is nice with a cleanly tavern vibe, and the servers are nice but the place gets crowded and wait times are a bit longer than you'd think. TLDR; order appetizers and drinks I'd say the ribs, salmon, and prickly pear cocktail are your best bets. The apple tart came out lukewarm warm which was disappointing but the molten lava cake was heated up well. This place has its loyal customers and it's easy to see why. It's a slightly elevated comfort food vibe. Not bad at all just not quite great. Music was also good of that matters. If you read this much you're already invested in going, so go.

The service was good. The ambiance was nice. However the food, didn't meet expectations. The complimentary bread service was good. The waygu pigs in a blanket was cold on the inside, and dough was not cooked enough. It was like they quickly flash fried it, so the outside was as done as it could be while the inside didn't have enough time to fully cook. The Mac n cheese was completely flavorless. Nothing was going to save it. The chicken fingers in a basket also lacked flavor. The fries weren't even cooked. Some were still cold. Plus extremely soggy since the basket bottom was swimming in spilled honey mustard sauce. The steak was decent for the price, but it isn't something you'd come back for.

It was the night before Christmas and it was absolutely packed wall to wall. They had a party going on but offered us the bar. If you know me you know I love a good Branzino, I saw it on the holiday menu and was excited. The Branzino I received was cooked to perfection, I didn't know how I would feel about the red sauce but it was surprisingly good. Mash was excellent no salt needed and the string beans were fresh.

If you are looking for a great atmosphere with delicious food and great service, I truly recommend you check out The George. The food was prepared well with portion sizes far exceeding expectation. The staff were very friendly and professional making sure that everything was to our liking. The atmosphere is also very fun and welcoming.

Super cute brunch spot, huge, shareable portions. Party of 3, we were seated immediately, waitress was very friendly and attentive. We started with the wings & pigs in blanket, both were very good. The pigs in blanket were cut similar to a sushi roll, perfect size for snacking. We all ordered handhelds, I had the tavern tidbits which is a steak sandwich, the steak was cut very thin and was very tender, my friends had the hot chicken sandwich (great flavor) & short rib grilled cheese. The portions are so large we each tried a piece of each sandwich and had 1/2 to take home! All served with fries. For cocktails we started with espresso martinis then switched to their dirty pickle martini which is a dirty martini + pickle juice and a tajin rim, definitely a must try if you are a pickle lover! Although I love tajin I would opt out next time as it was just too much going on and the cocktail is good enough on its own

We had a very good experience at the George! Love the new ambiance and feel. It was packed on a Saturday night and very lively which we enjoyed. Overall the food was really good- ahi tuna was perfect, steak cooked well and the Brussels and fries were a nice compliment to the meal. The deviled eggs were the only lackluster item- they needed more flavor and perhaps bacon so there's a crunch? Our drinks were also on point! Tasty with the right amount of alcohol. Service was quick, friendly and efficient! Will absolutely be back and goal is to try all menu items!! Highly recommend this spot for a night out without the kiddos :)

The 'George Martin Burger Bar' is no more but, 'The George' has carried the torch forward with quality. The table bread is A 1, top notch, best in the business. I stepped out on a limb and tried the Signature BlackJack burger! It's like General Tso's chicken on a burger . The whole drive home, I wished I got one to go. Our server Emily was super attentive and had the Shirley Temples tasting like premium drinks. No matter how bright or hot it is outside, it's cool and dimly lit inside. But if uncomfortable dining is your thing, there is an outdoor dining area.

My family made a party at The George this past weekend for my 65th Bday! There were approximately 55 guests. Everything was perfect!! Manager Lauren and her staff are simply put, Rock Stars!! They outdid themselves. Service was first class all the way. and Omar in the Kitchen -amazing!! We had several different appys including shrimp, hummus, veggies, and some others. The main course choices included sesame ribs, salmon and chicken parm with several different veggies and a pasta. Everything was served buffet and there was plenty!! We have gotten and are still getting calls about good the food was. The desserts were also delicious!! Can not thank the George Martin Group (and my Family) for such a fantastic party!!!

Why have I not been here sooner?! A friend d who lives close by has mentioned Louisiana joes and I…read morecould kick myself for not coming here immediately! Louisiana joes looks like a small sandwich shop from the outside but inside it is a flavor factory. The staff was so warm and welcoming and were so helpful. We tried the pork sandwich, jambalaya and the Mac and cheese. There are so many great menu options, it was hard to choose. The jambalaya features shrimp, chicken and sausage. So flavorful and the portion size was excellent for the price. The pork sandwich was delicious - pork was super tender. But the star of the show - the Mac and cheese. We are Mac and cheese lovers and try it everywhere. Well congrats, Louisiana joes. You've officially taken the top spot for cheesy deliciousness. I just regret that we didn't add a protein. I wish they were open daily and had longer hours but I also love that they're not because the staff can have lives outside of work. Cannot wait to go back and try more!!!

I have yet to be disappointed by Louisiana Joe's Sandwich Shop. Everything thus far (*ahem 2…read moreitems*) has been flavorful and has opened my taste buds to wanting to try more. The first time I went here, I ordered their shrimp and grits. Simply put, it's delicious. I've been back a couple times just for that. On this visit, based off another Yelpers review, I decided to give the grilled cheese with the beef brisket a try. Sandwiched between two toasted and I want to say buttered (don't quote me on this) brioche sliced breads with Provolone cheese melted on the bottom half and cheddar oozing out on the top half is the perfectly tender and healthy serving of seasoned beef brisket. I had to eat it as soon as I got it to savor in the moment and experience it in its true form. Hot and cheesy. The two cheeses brought the sandwich together nicely creating a savory dance on your tongue. The cheese literally oozes out with eat bite. As good as it was, I know it will not be a frequent meal to grace my belly, because personally, it's just too much meat *for me*. Considering this, I ate the whole sandwich in one sitting. I'm not usually a brisket person, but I was willing to give this one a try. Cheese, meat, and bread, sign me up. It is a lot to eat as far as the meat is concerned, so if you're not a crazy meat eater, don't be surprised if you only have room to eat half if not one full slice. I also wanted to try their corn nuggets, which looks like fried corn bread but rolled into a ball, but they didn't have it that day. I left feeling a little deflated at that, but my belly was full. I doubt whether I would have been able to eat that along with my shrimp and grits. Note: the longer you wait to eat it, the Colder it gets and its not as good as the first couple of bites *IMO* When the mood hits, I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu.

I knew Press 195 and am in love with their Bayside location. They have a solid menu including their notorious knish sandwiches and the amazing hand cut fries. This spot has one of my favorite fries, but what really does it for me is the dipping sauces. The garlic mayo and pineapple sesame are what you need to get when ordering their 3 sauce medley. Use the 3rd sauce to get something that works for you, but don't just fall back on the ketchup. These fries deserve more than that. As per our servers recommendation, I got the #2. It had turkey, Brie, roasted peppers and garlic mayo. It was the most amazing pressed sandwich. Shout out for some amazing ciabatta bread. My husband got the brisket knish sandwich, and he was comforted by the heavy meal. The kids meal was just a legit as out meals. Coming with apple slices which definitely scored points with Bubs. I also want to note that this place is also family friendly. Our server notified me of the family bathroom located in the back. What a good move and very much appreciated.

Yo-Yo Chicken is seriously one of those spots that just gets it. From the moment you walk in, you…read morecan smell how fresh everything is. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside -- not greasy at all. You can tell they actually care about consistency and quality. I ordered to go, and this is the part that impressed me most: by the time I got home and opened the bag, the food was still hot . Not "kind of warm" hot -- actually hot and fresh like it just came out of the kitchen. That alone says a lot about how they package and time their orders. Portion sizes were solid, flavors were on point, and everything tasted freshly made. This is definitely a go-to spot if you want good chicken without the wait or disappointment. I'll 100% be back and honestly might make this a regular stop. Highly recommend.

THIS IS A REVIEW FROM AN UBEREATS ORDER…read more This was my boyfriend and I's first time trying Yoyo chicken after hearing great things and we were really looking forward to it but was horribly disappointed. (TLDR - we both got sick) Placed an uber eats order for tenders & fries and it came fairly quickly so the chicken was still hot & crispy, though the waffle fries we ordered were steamed together so it was kinda soft. The tenders look like they were flattened then fried which I appreciated because that means theres more surface for the seasoning & extra cripsy. However, my bf who ordered the Original said his was bland & tasted plastic-y ( i thought it was ok, underseasoned but not necessarily plastic). My tenders were supposed to be Very Hot but it wasnt particularly spicy and had a slight acidity which makes me wonder if i got the hot lemon pepper instead? There was definitely seasoning though because it was visibly reader & coated in an oil that but it wasnt particularly flavorful. (I recently got Famous Daves and will say its not as flavorful as their Hot). The main issue came after when my bf suddenly felt unwell and said his stomach hurt, we originally figured it wasnt related to yoyo chicken and was a fluke because I felt okay and this was the only meal we shared. However, hours later both my bf and I woke up from stomach pain and were pretty violently ill. (Ill save you guys the details). Unsure what happened because we heard great things (albeit from a different location) but I honestly dont think we will risk trying yoyo chicken again
