While travel in for work my company wanted to take me out for my birthday.Theres no parking , we had to park in the neighborhood and walk down.The capacity is 64 and CASH ONLY.We waited 30 mins for a table ,30 mins for someone to come and acknowledge we had been sat.There was a young lady clearing tables so my co worker said "excuse me ,ma'am do you know..?" She immediately got an attitude yelling at him saying all she does is clear the tables she doesn't know anything else. I was ready to go elsewhere but my colleagues wanted to give them a chance to make it right.A young lady appeared asking if someone had gotten us waters.At this point we knew our whole order.She said she would be back with the drinks 20 mins later my co workers goes to check and she never put the orders in. We decided it would probably be best to grab drinks from the bar since the service was slow.My coworkers drink came out with bugs in it.Kids were throwing sand, dogs barking at other dogs a lot of chaos in a small space. The food was underwhelming, I asked for more of the lemon butter sauce that comes with the salmon & rice.She bought me a lemon and drawn butter.The woman that clears the tables came back grabbing things off of our table reaching over my dish.That was the final straw for me we had to find the server for our bill.We ended up getting change from the bar and left the money on the table. My husband and I recently visited your restaurant for Happy Hour. We were looking for a great spot on the water to have dinner and a few drinks, and your place was exactly what we were looking for! The nautical decor is lovely, the food was decent, and we loved that it's kid-friendly with the sand area and convenient for boaters. However, we were disapointed by the service from our watiress. After taking our intial drink then food order she did not return to check on us or offer refill. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time, and becasue our drinks were finished before our food arrived, we had to eat without beverages. I eventually went to the bar to get a drink and saw her scolling on her phone. While she did bring the refills after I asked she later forgot about us entrirely as the restuarnt got busier. She walked past our table multiple times to assist others without making eye contact, and ignored my attempts to flag her down, forcing me to go back to the bar for another drink. She finally came over to see if we needed anything else and said sorry and that she was busy. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, so we will definitely give the restaurant another try with another waitress and won't judge the establishment by this one experience. read more

My boyfriend happened to find this place for us to eat after a day at the beach which was perfect. The place had a beach feel to it. It was off the water and had memorabilia that matched the ambience. The place is fun in its decor and they had live music playing. There is outdoor seating as well as indoors. Colorful inside and out. The outside looks like it's for night time entertainment with the Tiki bar placed in the area of outdoor seating. Nice view and good food. Their menu is small and easy. Main food is oysters but they have plenty of choices. I had the salmon over rice while my boyfriend had the hangover burger. I had an appetizer of the nachos and he had the 1/2 oysters. Came for lunch with my husband by boat on a weekday. There were plenty of spots to pull up in park which is nice. We sat on the outside patio under an umbrella. There's a sandpit for kids to play in out there as well. We ordered the falafel burger and shrimp tacos and my husband got a Mojito. The food is okay. It's not bad but it's not anything to write home about for the prices. I think the tzatziki sauce for the falafel burger could definitely have some more flavor and that would make the overall taste of it better. Our waitress was a young girl. She was nice, but not very attentive. Overall, I think a lot of people come here more for the atmosphere. If you don't live on the water or boat a lot, it's a nice place to come and enjoy a meal or drink because you can sit outside, enjoy the water view, and it has an area for kids to play, but I'm not sure that it would be on my top list of places to come back to and eat. read more

I had been dying to come here for years, it seemed perfect for my boy. After a few other places eating on the water I guess I got spoiled because the food just wasn't really great here. I also had no idea it was cash only until we pulled up to the place one day, so it was our 2nd time finally heading over here to go. The Clubhouse is great if you or someone close lives in Bellmore. My friend lives within walking distance and we decided to visit for a quick dinner and drink. There wasn't much of a wait so we were seated pretty quick. They're also very kid friendly which was great since we had my friend's son with us. They have two big sandboxes and hula hoops for the kids to play with while the adults day drink and eat. My strawberry mojito wasn't the best I've had but it was refreshing on a warm day. My burger was very good and cooked just the way I like it. The fries are also yummy. My friend's son enjoyed his butter pasta and crayons to color the placemat with. Definitely a very welcoming place that also has live music at night. A great spot if you want to sit on the water and relax. read more

Tried the Clubhouse last night, its a small little bar/restaurant down a dead end street. Park wherever you can you may have to walk a block or two. They have a dine in area on sand looking out onto tje water. They have a decent size bar area. The service was really good at the bar, but when we finally went down to sit the waitress was less attentive. We ordered the fried calamari and nachos to start off, those were okay i would probably try a different app next time. I then ordered the lobster roll, which i love and thought it was very good. I wish the portion size was a little bigger for $22 but i didn't leave hungry. My wife ordered the chicken skewers which came on top of rice and she also thought that was very good. Overall good experience i would definitely go back to have a few drinks and possibly try something different on the menu. read more

YOGA and brunch was amazing. The set up, you're doing yoga by the waters on Sunny & breezy Sunday. Albeit the wet sand from the rain the night before. But a little bit of wet sand never hurt anyone right?!?!?! Stretch those muscles and get a good workout before chugging those mimosas down. Cause after all- you earned it! Okay SO, everyone I know talks about this place and it's five mins from our house but we had heard such mixed reviews we always ended up somewhere else. So glad we came today! Totally a neighborhood spot where you can either walk to, pull your boat up and dock, or drive to but super tight parking. Awesome atmosphere, literally one big chill summer party. Cash only! But they had multiple signs stating it and an atm available as well and the hostess gives the heads up too. We heard the service was bleh, I totally disagree. Our hostess/ server ( maybe Rachel was her name??) was extremely sweet, fast paced and gave great service. Pros: comfortable family, loud atmosphere; great food on a limited menu however you will find something to satisfy; outdoor dining; kids play area while you wait. Many small children having fun; very friendly wait staff who actually box your take home (they don't just their a foam container at you). Prices are very affordable; outdoor dining. Cons: loud atmosphere, many children having fun, very limited parking (we park about 5 blocks away and walked), no reservations, 1.5 hour wait to sit outside so we sat indoors. read more

After a day at the beach we needed someplace casual to go. My husband is from Bellmore and remembered there was a place on Clubhouse that was cute and just a take out shack- many years ago. Now it's an adorable and relaxed Canal-side restaurant that maintains its takeaway ambiance by serving on paper plates, plastic ware, etc...while seated on out door furniture , outdoors. We prefer outdoor dining. This was perfect. The food- amazing. We had such a nice time and enjoyed the fish tacos, a burger and for the perfect trifecta- started off with the nachos! By far exceeded my expectations, located down a narrow peninsula next to a marina ..at the end of a residential street,, parking is limited they have a small parking lot, and they asked their customers to park on Bellmore Avenue and take a short walk down Clubhouse Road out of respect for the people living on that block,, at first, I just thought this might be a nice little neighborhood bar for the locals to hang out in, the Clubhouse is only open seasonal, But there's plenty of room to have a good time, an outdoor patio with lawn games, a nice dock with a view of the canal , plenty of music and room for small parties , As soon as you walk in your greeted by a hostess, full service bar to the left music is always playing, so if you feel like dancing, you can do so, Veronica and Ava, very accommodating, polite, and gave top notch service.. plenti selection of beer, fine wines, cocktails, they have outdoor lawn games to pass your time, I was expecting small bites in a bar menu, but to my surprise, they have a full service menu with appetizers, entrées, sandwiches, Panini's, and small bites, their homemade meatballs were very good, the salmon was a very impressive portion cooked very well, juicy and tender, they offer a kebab specials I sampled, one of each filet mignon, chicken and shrimp with barbecue sauce. Very good, The calamari Rhode Island Style was very good spicy with a cool lemon sauce, dessert is limited to a Davids brownie ,, I recommend this place stop by in a nice summer afternoon with your friends and make new ones read more

What a great summer spot for lunch of all ages - YES kids too! While mom & dad can grab a cold brew, the kids can play in the sand or a game of corn hole. There were no outdoor seats for us to sit at BUT the high tops we did sit at was right by the open garage door which made it feel like we were outside. I highly suggest the grilled chicken panini. The spinach salad is basically a big plate of spinach, so I suggest getting grilled chicken on top of it. My other friend got the hot dog with mac n cheese, just a heads up the mac n cheese is not homemade (to her disappointment). It was a little difficult to get the waitress' attention. I wanted a side of dressing, but ended up eating my sandwich before she came to check on how the food came out and if we needed anything. The atmosphere is almost like a beach bar restuarant and has an outdoor sand area with corhole, a small boardwalk, and other assorted games. Very cool spot to chill outside. Food is good. Came here for the first time on Friday evening. The seating is limited and we wanted to eat. The hostess said about a 45min wait. So we went to the bar but there were no seats. The bartenders were quick with drinks which was great. However they had 3 of their draft beers kicked, one of my Favs being Stella. So that was disappointing on a Friday night. But eventually we sat for dinner at one of the high top tables. Our server took a bit to come over but apologized as he was busy. We started with the fried calamari and nachos as apps. I hate to say it but this place was as lackluster as I thought it would be. My friends and I took decided to set sail (around Merrick/Jones Beach lol) and we decided to grab a bite at a place where the boat could easily be docked. The ClubHouse seemed like the most feasible option but I was wary about the reviews, and unfortunately for good reason. First, the staff. Jesus...I know these are different times and all but we didn't have a waitress whatsoever. We got up to order food, get the check, etc. We still left a generous tip because we're not ass***** but as this place seems like a self-serve kind of restaurant, they shouldn't be asking for a tip. Second, the food. The calamari, surprisingly, wasn't bad. I mean I've had a lot better but it wasn't terrible. But for the portion and the price it wasn't worth it. The pulled pork sandwich? Forget about it. Super mediocre (especially the cold bun) and I love fries yet these were terrible and only edible if I drenched them in the marinara sauce that came with calamari. Overall, wouldn't visit here again despite it being right next to water and all simply because there's basically nothing good to say about it except that the food would be good if it was valued at about a third of it's price. read more

Yesterday will be the last time I go to this overpriced establishment. I went there with my wife,daughter,and 6 month old grandson. My daughter asked the waitress(Alex) where to change the baby's diaper and was told to change it on her lap. I said to her that legally they should have a changing area. She went inside , and came back out to tell me I was wrong, in a not so nice way. Ultimately she was wrong , and didn't own up to her mistake. My wife was so upset , she couldn't even eat. read more

Neat place, not a bad dock space, on a good day or evening with a nice breeze its great (or torture with no wind and gnats). Fun games for the kids to play or for you to have drinks and kill an afternoon without having to go too far. The food is nothing special but definitely much better this year than the last few years i've headed over here and I would go back for sure after our last visit. Crab cake was surprisingly good, although they claim it is "Lump", it is not, and they hit you for $18 bucks so not thrilled about that and wouldn't get it again but was pleasantly surprised for this place. Fish tacos were very good, kids liked their meals and my daughter had a Grilled Chicken Panini which was better than expected. It's also annoying to still be eating at places with disposable plates and utensils. It seems like a Covid leftover but really feels like laziness and inability to get a dishwasher. Needless to say it has been updated which excited me to have lunch on a nice day. I went with my fiancé and we have never been more disappointed. The lack of service was disgusting. We sat for 25 minutes not even offered water. We tired to get the attention of any waitress and we were ignored. Another woman from the next table got up and mentioned to the hostess that we have been trying to be served for quite some time. She said the waitress had to see if we were her table. Needless to say this was at 35 minute mark so we got up and left. There wasn't even someone at the hostess stand to say anything to so we walked out quietly and very upset. Hostess said an hour long wait, but when we saw the high tops in the bar right next to the open doors, we decided to sit there instead. They had live music, which was cool, but the place is SO SMALL that we were screaming over each other. I'm a nurse, and literally had no voice the next day trying to talk to patients at work. The musician was amazing, actually, but was a bit much for the small space literally right at the bar. For the big space outside, they could definitely fit more tables. There were also children playing everywhere, which we didn't expect by not doing our research beforehand. Would probably benefit them to add more seating outside, as people seem to be coming for the nice weather / outdoor seating vibes. Definitely a convenient location if you live in the area.
