April 2022. Parked outside the Henhouse brewery on Bellvue st. Santa Rosa. Ate the bbq pork with rice and salad and a shrimp spring roll. Pork cut into little shards that were overcooked, sort'a dried out. Sticky white rice completely without flavor. Salad greens are fresh. The white slightly sweet vinegar dressing was tasty. Pair of shrimp spring rolls are big in size. All freshly moist inside. Wrap has a nice rubbery chew, holds the innards securely. Flavor wise, nothing special. A notch above bland. The spring rolls at Lee's Noodle House (Airway Drive, Santa Rosa) blow these away. My lovely spouse said the food doesn't deserve this 3 star rating. I do because what we ordered was not greasy nor over salted. The food is semi-healthy. The folks are nice. If this truck showed up at an event where several trucks were present, I probably would not order from it again.

Every week I can't wait for them to post there where abouts for the week on IG! This is my favorite food truck of Sonoma County. I am a born and raised east coaster and their cheesesteak is the closest I get to a authentic cheesesteak from Philly! Perfection to say the least. And to top it off when I got my steak Sando to go last week, they gave me a free treat to try! Which was the bacon/ jalapeño delights! DELICIOUS! Always look forward to returning! Keep up the good work.

We went to Cooperage brewery and the food truck was there. Man me and the wife split the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Glad we did that thing was so huge. It was so good with the peppers and jalapeños. We also got the carb puffs and there was so yummy. So if your out and about and this truck is where your please give it a try you will not be disappointed. It has all kinds of food on the truck. Cheers

The food truck parked at the Vista Campus of SR Community Health today, so a colleague and O walked over to check it out. We shared the pork dumplings which were divine. They were fully fried and crispy. Dipping sauce was on point. I also ordered the noodle bowl with prawns, which was delish as well! I did get extra chili sauce too. Would recommend!

Great food truck! I love that they come to our worksite every Friday around noon time. It's a splurge I definitely look forward to having. Staff are friendly, attentive, and provide great customer service. Food is piping hot (in temperature) and the portions are big for the amount of money you pay. Every item on the menu is delicious. I highly recommend!

Went to Cooprage last Friday (09/28/18) to have a beer and then go get dinner and saw the food truck. Walked past it and it smelt so good I knew I had to try something. Wasn't too hungry so I got the pork Spring rolls expecting they would be small and they were BIG. They tasted amazing! I can't wait until next time to try their bowls!

I'm a viet girl from San Jose. When I moved to Santa Rosa it was really hard to adapt. There weren't a lot of Asian supermarkets and the viet restaurants here in Santa Rosa weren't really all that great. AND THEN I FOUND THESE GUYS. the food was amazing and they really pack a lot for you. I'll tell ya, eating this reminds me of home, for real. THEY ARE F-ING AMAZINNNGGGGGGG. Tuesday's and Thursday's they're at Hen House on Bellevue Ave! I ordered the BBQ pork bowl and you can choose either rice or vermicelli noodles. I also got the egg rolls, crab puffs (already devoured) and spring rolls. The egg rolls were PACKED with their meat and veggie filling. Most places out here skimp on it. Their crab puffs were stuffed with filling as well. Their spring rolls were huge and served with peanut sauce that was blended with perfection. For the bbq pork bowl, that can definitely feed two, easily. FIND THEM AND EAT!!

If you're looking for an amazing Philly cheesesteak, then you've come to the right place. Yes I know... the name doesn't suggest that but wow the thinly sliced steak, cheese sauce, peppers and onions are phenomenal!

It is easy to find and they have a parking lot which was convenient. As we entered the area we could see many food trucks parked near each other, sort of in a circle. There is also a large canopy over the entire middle with lots of picnic tables and additional seating under patio umbrellas. Music was playing but we found only three trucks open and serving lunch on this Wed. I saw a churro truck but sadly it was closed too. We visited all three trucks to check out their menus and I decided to order a quesadilla at Lucha Sabina. Some people near us were enjoying something called a Tlayuda from this same truck and it looked amazing! I will have to give that a try next time with my husband because it is big enough to serve two. I had heard that the mushroom tacos were delicious so I asked if they could make a mushroom quesadilla and she said yes. She mentioned avocado would make it extra tasty so of course I added it. I'm so glad she offered that up because it was a key ingredient in my yummy quesadilla. It was grilled perfectly and I was all smiles from the first bite. This place was a hit with all my buddies too. We liked that they gave us each a beeper so we could sit down and chat until our food was ready. My friends all enjoyed their selections but none of us tried anything exotic, just tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. People working were very personable and helpful. We'll have to come back during dinner hour as I'm sure there will be more food trucks warming up their grills to satisfy everyone's cravings.

Brisket was some of the best I have had in California, top 3 for sure including the top spots in the LA area. Really incredible. Ribs were very good. Brisket sandwich on a martins bun, good toppings, all around an awesome sandwich. Cornbread had good flavor, good strong corn taste, a bit of a heavier / more dense style, but overall quite good. Awesome honey butter on the side. Mac and cheese was good but definitely a heavier style, very creamy, dense, mixed well with some brisket. Banana pudding was top tier. Portions are very generous for the price. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff were friendly. Parking on the street nearby was easy and they also have some spots in front. This was during the week so on the weekend I imagine it could be different. They also have smoked oxtails which I don't remember having before so will need to try that next time. Will definitely be back.

The hospitality is great and the place when not operating from the truck is the back of a kitchen in a nearby shopping center which I found interesting. That was a surprise to me considering they advertise as a truck on Yelp and though it got a little confusing because we could see the truck but technically the directions from Yelp were clear enough and led us almost to the right place. The food has a very home made like experience as if all the ingredients were tossed in a pan together before setting them separately for tacos and burrito. Every item tasted close to the same in my opinion because it felt like the base for vegetables wear the same and as a vegetarian that's very boring and not motivating to try this place again. Rice and beans were very bland and lacking flavor compared to many other places I've tried. I wished so much to love the food but I'm not sure I'll go back or recommend to a vegetarian especially considering that the prices were on the higher side for the portions compared to other places. There are so many ingredients that are smothered in various salsas it's impossible to see what you're eating. Tacos are so overloaded that unless you are a magician it's impossible to eat the thing in hand without dropping half of the contents. I know, it's not really a problem because you do get a plastic fork. Three tacos for $16 seems a bit steep. Relax, it is a full meal that even this hungry man with a canine appetite was satisfied upon completion. Are there better fish / seafood tacos in Santa Rosa? I haven't discovered any. Located on exceptionally noisy Sebastopol road in the heart of "downtown" Roseville. Ambiance is loud and the eating area is kind'a grimy. I will say that the seafood is very fresh and tasty. However, someone in that kitchen is very heavy handed with the tasty sauces for each item that I tried. I ordered the fish tacos and the shrimp tostada. First, the serving sizes are very impressive. But when I bit into my first fish taco after only 5 minutes in the take out box, it was so wet with sauce, that it made the entire taco soggy and a huge mess. Immediately the tortillas fell apart and instead of a nice crispy piece of fish, it was also a soggy mess. The shrimp tostada was also a disappointment that way, just drenched in a green avocado sauce. So much sauce that you could not taste anything else. There was a good size portion of shrimp but I couldn't even get to it because of all the sauce. I tasted hubby's calamari from his taco (he ordered the "mixed tacos", 3 tacos). It was still nice and crispy. He also had the octopus taco and a shrimp taco and he seemed to really like them. I am sorry I can't give you 5 stars Charro Negro and I hate to ruin your 5 star run, but someone needs to ease up on the sauce so that you can actually taste the good quality food that you are preparing.

Some on social media even going as far as saying this taco truck having the best burrito in the entire Bay Area, rated higher than heavyweights like La Taqueria in the mission or La Piñata in Vallejo. That's a pretty bold statement-one I wanted to find out if it could possibly be true. Getting there was easy enough as it was on our way home from Windsor, with just a brief detour needed to get to this legendary spot. Funny thing, the street that this truck is located reminds me of driving down Northgate Blvd in Sacramento in that in order to get to the taco truck,I literally had to pass 10+ other trucks and taquerias-a true taco haven of a street. Got me thinking they must be pretty good if they standout with such stiff competition so nearby. They are located in a parking lot,so parking is plentiful-so no issue there. When I got there I ended up ordering a Super Burrito with Carne Asada($12.00) and a Taco Dorado with Carne Asada($4.00) They mostly spoke Spanish when taking my order but they did speak English to my friend who was with me at the taco truck. We got our food pretty fast and it came with some of their very special salsa that came with the order. Let's talk about that crunchy taco dorado first-This may be the best carne asada crunchy taco I've ever had-I wish I had caught that 1st bite on video as the crunch sound was everything one could ever hope to get from a dorado taco. The Super Burrito was truly everything they said it would be.The tortilla had the most perfect toasty taste that only comes from being toasted perfectly. The mixture of the ingredients was flawless, every bite gave you a full taste of every ingredient-this is an underrated thing when searching for the best burrito and the seasonings of the carne asada-yeah as good as it gets. These people should truly offer a masterclass in burrito making as a finer carne asada burrito I have yet to have. The 2 items I ordered from them on this visit were of the highest ratings I could give and I don't know if I will ever find another spot that could compete with El Roy's Express Mex. Now here is where it gets tricky-I've heard not all 5 locations of El Roy's are created equal-I was told to seek out this location as it was the best of the bunch,so since I haven't tried the other locations,I can only vouch for my food experience here. One day I hope to try the others and see if there is a difference, but for now I can say without hesitation that the food served at El Roy's on Sebastopol Rd is as good of a taste experience as one could ever hope for. PS-The orange salsa they give with your order is just dynamite-super tasty without burning you ouI only wish they bottled it and sold it so I could enjoy it at home.A must try.

No sitting on a bench scrolling my phone for 20 minutes--major points for that. The vibe inside is actually surprisingly nice. It's super clean and has a modern, pleasant look that makes you think the food is gonna be next-level. Here's the "but"--the food was just... fine. * Broccoli Beef: Honestly? A little bland. The beef wasn't chewy or anything, but the sauce just didn't have that "wow" factor. I wanted a flavor punch and got a light tap instead. * Pork Fried Rice: Pretty decent! Good sized portion for the price, and it hit the spot, but it's nothing I'd write home about. * Egg Rolls: Solid crunch, stayed hot on the drive home, which is a win in my book. Filling was boring.
