We were vacationingvin Redding California 1900 miles away and got a call from Streetside that they had a VERY serious buyer with cash in hand and all he needed was to put eyes on our car to verify that it was as advertised. I asked him to get a deposit and was told that hmthe buyer was there with cash in had and it was a sure deal as long as the car was in the same condition it was in when it was in the showroom. This was Thursday afternoon. We left California Saturday and arrived in Texas early Monday morning only to get a call from Rocky at Streetside telling us that the buyer found another car. Ruined our vacation, cost us over $400 in gas plus food and motels and all he could say was sorry! NEVER-EVER dealing with them again!!!! read more

Absolutely the worst automobile sales customer service ever! I was in the showroom for the first time recently. I looked at the beautiful selection of cars for about 10 minutes, and several of them knew I was there, (via their peripheral vision). Yet not a single one of them greeted me, thereby acknowledging my existence. Even after I was greeted by someone in management, and sat down with Rocky Kuzina, a so called "Sales Professional", it was apparent he would have preferred to be doing anything else besides dealing with me. I understand that to a certain degree, these cars sell themselves, but that shouldn't translate to the aloofness I sensed in sales personnel, and indeed the entire staff. There's still a lot to be said for great customer service, which for whatever reason, I did not experience. Would I buy a classic from Streetside? Based on my initial experience, NO! Their response to this review will determine if I would EVER consider buying a classic from them. read more

Streetside Classics is not an honest company to do business with. They took advantage of my dad on a car that was not at all what they advertised! Car would not run, the quarters are completely full of bondo and the vin plate has been removed and a poor copy has been replaced. After car was delivered and we found that the wheel studs on the front of the car was JB welded in, the brakes did not work, the front coil springs and shocks were installed incorrectly. The door panels are poorly glued to the door. The car is in very poor shape. It was our choice to buy it but we were completely lied to. I would not trust them to buy anything and we will tell everyone what kind of business they are. read more

Great experience as a seller. I will be upfront that I got more for my 30s car than I could have gotten selling locally but it's more than that. Streetside is a great way for sellers and buyers to find each other. The Streetside website is what sold my car. Trying to sell on my own reached a very small market, so the person who wanted a car like mine couldn't find it. I used Streetside for selling, detailing and making small repairs needed. Happy with all of it. I hope the buyer had as great experience as I did. If you sell there leave the building immediately because having check in hand makes it very difficult to not leave with your next car with all the great cars they have. If nothing else walk thru if one is close. Went thru the Fort Worth facility a bunch of times before I did any business with them and always felt welcome. read more

Saw a 2011 Bentley Continental GTC 80-11 Edition on their site and immediately was interested, as the 80-11 is a rare car (only 80 were made, as the name implies). As the car is in Nashville, and I live in the DFW area, I called in yesterday to inquire two things: 1). If they would ship the car from Nashville to DFW after the purchase was complete, and 2). If they had in-house financing, and if they could tell me about it. Spoke with a gentleman named Elder who had zero knowledge to answer either of my questions. He had to read from a script and even then didn't answer my questions; he took my information and told me someone would reach out to me. Total waste of a call. Received a text this morning (see screenshot attached), thanking me for my call and stating my call was after hours (it wasn't). Maybe I'm old-school, but when communicating about a potential $70K purchase, text is not an appropriate communication method. This requires phone calls and/or emails, especially if I'm going to fly out to Nashville to inspect a car. After reading reviews for not only the DFW location but for Nashville as well, I've decided to not purchase a vehicle from them. read more

After seeing the reviews about this place I was shocked and very surprised that most people don't understand what "consignment" means. Why give a terrible review to a business that merly offers you an opportunity to review multiple vehicles of all years and makes? What happened to understanding "as is"? What happened to taking responsibility for your own purchase? This isn't buying off of Amazon! Most likely the vehicle is OLD. probably a great chance of things not working or photos not representing well. Why would someone ever consider purchasing a large investment , as is WITHOUT laying eyes on it?? Just wow. No responsibility at all. Todd Anthony took the time to call me personally and we were able to put the pieces together. In brief, the towing company bothched the delivery and tried to pin the fault on Streetside and called them liars. The only liars are with the towing company. She only apologizes, then blames BUYERS for THEIR misconception, by assuming it's an honest, reputable business. She doesn't care that the expensive dreamcar or truck you fell in love with from your childhood, spent years saving up for, saw online, called about and bought there just fell apart, has serious issues or that you drove several hours in pouring rain to see was because her salesman lied on the price and misrepresented it's condition. All Denise B. cares about is PROFIT. Period. There are MANY other classic, collectible car and truck dealers, so WHY get ripped off and lied to? Try Maple Motors in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Buyer's beware! I'd really do my homework before even thinking about buying from them or consigning my classic car. I should of walked away after my initial contact with Jason Gonzales. I put in an offer of 17K on a truck. He came back & said that he could do 17.5K. I said "Sold" I then gave him my DL to start the process. Later he comes back & tells me that he apologizes because he had transposed the #'s with a corvette. So @ that point I asked him to contact either his manager or the consigner to split the difference with me & I would still purchase the truck. I honestly feel that as Shaddy as he turned out to be that he never told either one in my honest opinion. I later told my husband that based off of the video & pictures of the truck that for a couple of thousand dollars, I wasn't going to let it go. It looked extremely clean. My husband agreed since it had been my dream to own a truck that I had grown up with my father driving. I shouldn't have let my nostalgic feelings get the best of me. I was dumb to not take the trip out of State to see it in person before I purchased it. I figured though that since Streetside Classics was "supposedly" a reputable dealership that I had nothing to worry about. Boy was I proven wrong. So I make arrangements with Jason to pick my truck up. I get there & finally meet him. He says if I'm ready to take it today to pull around back & I can take delivery of it. Jason didn't have the audacity to come outside & personally deliver my truck to me. Oh he knew exactly what he was doing & had done. The kid that drove my truck out was grinding my gears. Obviously he didn't know how to drive standard. Let alone 3 gears on the tree. I've been driving my truck for almost 2 weeks now & I don't grind the gears. I then proceeded to walk around the truck & immediately knew why the video of it & the pictures never showed the passenger side of it. There was a crack in the hood. Rust & bondo on several parts of the truck. The paint job was shitty. You can see paint drips from the 1/2 ass paint job that was done on it. The truck wasn't worth nowhere near the price I had paid for it. Thank you Jason Gonzales for shattering my childhood dream. I hope you can sleep @ night knowing what you did was wrong. On the other hand I did the right thing by posting this honest review. It will let me finally be @ ease knowing that by me spilling my heart & soul out the it might help the next person along. if you are purchasing a classic car from streetside classics be very cautious and dont trust their ads. i took them at their word and was very disappointed. they said i was buying a classic car with just over 1700 miles on a restoration that was completed in 2023. they always advertise they are the best place to buy a classic car and they are not. i got my 67 chevelle and drove it 6 miles and the front end of the engine was shaking and vibrating really bad. the harmonic balancer was almost out of the car. the pullys were shaking the altenator and the power steering pump really bad. further checking the transmission mount was shattered. front end was really worn. i texted my salesman jason gonzales and told him and sent him pictures. he said to email the sales manager spencer wilmore and let him know. i sent him an email and he called me to talk about it. he seemed sincere and made me feel he would help with the repair. i haven't heard from him since. the car is still in the shop. do not believe these peoples ads. they are far from accurate and honest. i sent pictures and gave them the shop it was at to call them. never a word. be careful dealing with these people. read more

I recently placed my 1993 Corvette with Streetside Classics in Fort Worth. I discussed the terms of consignment with them and arrived at what the least I would accept for my return on my car. I placed it with them for a 90 day period. Due to the time of year ( late fall) my Convertible had very little action and at the end of the consignment period I picked my car up and brought it back home. They asked if I wanted to leave it on their website and see if they got any action on it as the season changed. I told them that would be fine with me. After another month they called and said that they had received an inquiry on my vehicle. Asking if I was still interested in selling it. I said yes and long story short. Within a week I had a check for the amount I wanted. Sale was to a buyer out of state and they arranged for transportation to the buyer. Couldn't be happier with their service. read more

My biggest mistake is buying a car from this place and trusting that they have integrity and they actually checkout these cars. I bought a 1967 camaro ss from them and after speaking with them they said the car was in great condition and how well they have checked everything. After getting the car I was so disappointed. 1. The car barely stayed on when started 2. Door seals where all worn out 3. They listed heat but it was not working 4. They listed and I have in writing from them that the car is a 3.73 and I will let you know how I found out it wasn't For the car and after getting it to start I drove it for 2 miles and started to hear some noise and the car was not being driven hard at all.. barely doing 25 mph and the rear end blow up with a hole in it. I called them in the spot and sent them pictures but they barely showed any care. I have spoken and sent them Pictures (Spencer, the manager) and he told me to send him the invoice and see how they can help with it. Well, I have been calling and they have not responded. $8k plus later to get all the items that was not right correct in the car. And after getting the rear end opened we found it was it was 3.08 and not 3.73 Just beware! This place is a pure scam and they stand behind nothing read more

All I can say is go see the vehicle in person and drive it! Do not listen to a thing the salesman has to say. I purchased a 1955 Chevy truck from this place. I was told it tracked straight down the road, doors opened and closed correctly, no rust, no leaks and very few paint dents/dings. The vehicle arrived. It had miscellaneous dents/dings and paint chips all over. Steers down the road like Stevie Wonder is driving it. Has rust on the bed sides hidden with spray paint. The rear differential leaks as well. When you hit a dip, the floorboard makes an oil can popping noise. The rear window has numerous scratches and the front windshield is chipped up as well. The turn signals don't work, and neither does the heater. I have had estimates from two different shops to get this truck near the condition they said it was in. Their quotes are in the ball park of $25,000. This is after paying $40,000 to begin with. read more

Tommy sold us a 911 Carrera Porsche. It was a Saturday evening driving it home service engine light comes on. Tuesday when they opened we called about it. Tommy said you bought as is. We asked to speak to the manager Spencer and he said he could not help us. We paid cash. When you go into what you believe is a high end show room you expect the highest level of service. This was not the case. We had recommended them to several of our friends, which we retracted at once. I bought a 1961 Chevrolet Impala looked absolutely beautiful in the pictures . car was almost 90k. Which paid for in cash. The car is not even drivable. Has no steering no brakes. This car was also advertised with seatbelts which it did not have. I literally bought a 90 thousand dollar car that I cant even drive. I haven't even put 1 mile on this car. Had leaks everywhere the emergency brake line snapped the first time I used it. I am completely let down by this company. The battery was not even strapped down. Essentially I bought it car with no steering and no brakes and paid 90 grand. Do not buy from this company ever. This car could have killed me had I gone on a main road. Fuck this place. read more

This company puts vehicles on eBay without the intent to actually sell them on eBay. They essentially told me that they use eBay only for advertising when they post vehicles for sale. I bid up one of their vehicles this week actually thinking I had a chance of getting it. When I called them to ask questions about the vehicle, they told me that the item had been presold. Do not buy a car from here without physically being there to look at it and drive it. If you're unsure, being a knowledgeable person/mechanic you trust along with you. I do not recommend buying without being there, unless you're comfortable with the high probability of taking a huge loss. I bought a car from here a little over one year ago and had it shipped to Europe (military overseas) and if I had been there in person I would've never purchased this car or maybe would have for a lot (a lot!) less. Do not trust their photos, video, or what the salesperson may say. They seemed trained in sales, but don't know much about classic cars, in my experience. It could be a really cool place with their selection and probably does have nice cars come through, but as someone who is looking to build their collection, I'd never shop there again. read more

This place is F'n Joke! I called down there from the Chicagoland area for days before committing to a car they had in their inventory. It was a ton of money but, they said it was perfection in motion and that I would be a fool to pass it up! Thankfully I decided to drive over a 1000 miles down there to inspect it myself. Thank God I did! It was a raging piece of junk! I mean I would not have given them a dollar for it and I agreed to $25,000!!!! When I told the salesman Jason it was junk he just said ok and walked away like I had driven there from down the street! I drove a total of 2,200 miles not to mention gas, the broker that set up the transport for today (Friday) and the transport company deposit I lost! Stay as far as you can from this place! They have a lot of nice cars here, but if you can't be in FW Texas to look/drive the car yourself, I personally would never buy a car from them. In my experience, Streetside hooked me up with an 'independent inspector' to spend 3 hours to review the car "from top to bottom". The inspector said, I'll look at the care as "if I was going to buy it for myself". I paid G.C. [full name redacted] to have the car fully inspected. If the inspector did this review, and I'm not positive that he did, somehow he missed a big hole in the headliner, a heater that doesn't work, an oil leak, coolant leak, and tranny leak, all of which I found in 10 minutes of having the car dropped at my house. In his paper report he checked the boxes as all good. A minor note was made that bias ply tires should be replaced. When I contacted him about these issues I found so quickly, he denied them, and later said, "Well, it's a 54 year old car, there will always be something.". Of course there will be, I understand that, but this guy failed terribly on his visual inspection on such simple things any common person would have found, he seemed either dishonest or incompetent in my opinion. Hard to know which. It's a nice car, and I will keep it, but in my opinion, these inspectors seem too cozy with the dealership, and also seem to be more interested in the support of a sale than giving a good honest review of the vehicle. The President of the company, Streetside, emailed me personally and said they haven't gotten any complaints, but would pass my comments along to her team. Yet, when I came here, I sure found some common threads on this exact issue. Her response did not seem genuine to me, as I have yet to find any person there that I was happy to work with. I got my 1974 Pantera a few days ago. The most misrepresented car I've ever purchased. I'm such a fool to trust these people. I worked with a person called Spencer Wilmore. I told him from day one that I did not want to end up with somebody's unfinished project. Guess what? That's what I ended up with. I asked Spencer so many times to please please please make sure the car works and drives properly. I asked him to make sure the car does not leak oil. It took a couple of months for the deal to close because the car seemed to have all kinds of issues. Finally Spencer told me the car was ready and it was in very good shape mechanically. I believed him. Well. I got the car a few days ago. What a disappointment. First of all, the car came with NO gas, zero, zilch. I didn't even have enough for me to drive it a block to the gas station. I walked to the gas station and got some gas, put it in, turned the car on, the car started up but started to smoke like crazy. There was so much smoke in the cockpit I couldn't stay inside. The car came with a cracked windshield, loose driver and passenger side windows, driver door handle is falling out, turn signal doesn't work and the engine leaks oil really bad. There's also a dent in the driver's side chrome. The car is basically a big mess. I called Spencer whom by the way was just promoted to the management position and told him all about the car. I sent him videos and pictures of the problem areas. He basically blamed some of the problems on the shipping company and the rest on the fact that I basically bought a used car and therefore I'm on my own. This guy fooled me so bad. He made me trust him. He told me he was a man of his words. I really believed him. Now I'm going to have to have the car towed to a shop and get it fixed. God knows how much it'll cost me. He made me believe I was getting a trouble free and already sorted car. I guess the times when a man's words were his honor are no longer. Update: The car is still at the shop! Yes. More than 3 months since I bought the car from streesideclassics. Spencer Wilmore, you are perhaps one of the most dishonest person I've ever dealt with in my entire life. So far fixing the car has costed me $22,000! The engine that is supposed to have been rebuilt, was NOT. It was just a big fat lie. The electrical that is supposed to be all redone and in working condition, was NOT. The car is such a mess. Even the seats are being redone because the existing seats were welded and repaired so many times and so badly that they were deemed dangerous and unsafe! The entire e brake system was removed except the handle to give the car the impression that it has an e brake. That whole and entire system had to be redone. The air vents (levers) are not even connected. The heat and air don't work (Spencer assured me they worked). I can go on and on and on. As I said earlier, before I purchased the car I told Spencer multiple times, I DO NOT want to buy a project car. I paid top dollar to buy a complete and turn key car. It turned out to be EVERYTHING this scum of human life Spencer Wilmore told me about the car was just a big lie. read more

Avoid at all cost. These guys are the definition of used car salesmen, specifically my salesman, Steve West. I purchased a late model Ford Bronco and was told the vehicle was in "excellent" condition, especially the exterior, having less than 1000 miles on a recent build. It was so nice "the owner/seller didn't want to drive it". It arrived with two empty gas tanks and no way to put gas in it because the two pop-up gas caps didn't work. Luckily it had enough gas to get it in my garage where it still sits. On top of that, neither door lock worked, or the rear window and glove box latches. The seats were so disgusting I didn't want to sit on them. As far as the "excellent" exterior, there were numerous scratches, one six inches long and through the paint, but the worst was a deep crack running down the edge of the hood. There was so much rust that the paint was being pushed up. Huh, I didn't see that in any of their website photos. The photographer should win an award. I guess once I figure out how to get gas in the vehicle, it's off to the body shop. According to Steve, they take no responsibility for the condition. The vehicles are on consignment. They don't inspect the vehicles and they do not put gas in them! If they'd give me my money back, I'd pay to put it on the first truck heading their way. LET THE BUYER BEWARE!! read more

I will never buy a car without an inspection or seeing in in person first. While the paperwork I signed reduces liability to Streetside, a car inspection was never recommended and obvious items wrong with the car were not disclosed. This is a bad business practice. Of course the pictures of the car look better than it does in person also. I was told the paint is great. It's not. I see a lot of knicks and the bumpers weren't even removed for the paint job. This has me wondering what else is a hack job on this car. I see teal underneath black paint at bumpers. Chrome looked great in photos and is pitted in person. I thought I was buying a car I could drive right away. I did not. The front tires looked fine in all pictures and not a puncture on them. I drive it 3 miles and there is severe tire rub that slashed a perfectly good tire. It turns out the rims and tires are the wrong backspacing and don't work. Now I need new rims. Additionally, the shifter does not work properly. It turns out a bolt was missing and the rods were on backwards. Both of these items should have been apparent to Streetside. Now I feel like I just overpaid by $10,000 even though I negotiated a few thousand off. I thought I would only need a carb adjustment and it turns out I need to spend thousands to get it on the road. Not to mention, it's still in the shop being fixed so there could be more issues. read more

Do not trust the salesman or manager or the inspectors they recommend, they are all in cahoots on making a dollar. Once they get your money they are done with you. I thought i was buying and paid up for a bad ass car, but it was the lip stick on a pig deal and car was pieced together with swap meet parts that were incorrect for the car.
