Delicious and amazingly satisfying! Freshly made sushi, close to work, in a park setting - i was excited to try it out and i wasn't disappointed. Upon walking up to the truck, I was immediately greeted by one of the employees. Love when that happens. There were signs guiding me toward the menu to select what I wanted. As my first time, I opted for more standard rolls, the California and Spicy Tempura. Both had all the traditional favorites. Crab, Avocado, shrimp, tempura, and honestly was way better than I imagined coming from a food truck. The California was my favorite as the spicy tempura lacked spice. Each roll came with 8 pieces and filled me up for lunch! My coworker order the "Fiesta" roll and the Salmon Hand Roll and was extremely satisfied as well. We both were overly impressed with the quickness of the process, as well as the appearance of the truck. You can tell the inside as immaculately clean and it made me feel better ordering sushi from a food truck. When going to a food truck you expect to get a few quirks and some specialties. Personally, I was slightly disappointed. The tuna roll was good but the meat seemed underwhelming at best. Then when I bit into the handroll I found that the salmon was sliced super thin and only went halfway into the roll. This was super cheap in my opinion. Improvement: maybe have a sushi burrito you charge 10-13 for and you pack it with cucumber choice of meat avocado and rice. Also the meat was not as well done as I would expect from a food truck. Then they upcharge for eel sauce or spicy mayo. These are standard for any real sushi restaurant. read more

Today was the last "Ford Land Food Truck Rally" in Dearborn for the season in 2016. Streetside Sushi was there. I hadn't seen their truck before. Had Salmon & Avacodo and Tuna & Cucumber rolls -- Added spicy sauce to both rolls. Came with soy, ginger and wasabi. Very good lunch. Look forward to seeing Streetside Sushi again. Very good sushi, but limited selection. What they do, they do well, just wish we had more options. The fish, veggies & salad were all very fresh. And the shrimp tempura in the roll wasn't greasy, which I genuinely appreciated. Also, they don't have a menu posted anywhere. Prices are a little below what you'd find in a sit down restaurant. While ordering I could see inside the truck and it was very clean and well-maintained. I'd definitely eat at their food truck again. read more

It's a solid 3.5 but they do not have that option. The interior of the truck was impeccably clean. The service was fast. You can even text your order and they will reply when it will be ready. I ordered the spicy California roll. The crab was low quality and low quantity. The spicy sauce was delicious! There was a little too much rice, however, it was cooked well. The sushi was good but it was extremely expensive for what you get. It says a roll includes 8 pieces of sushi which sounds like a great deal, but they're extremely tiny! I definitely felt like I got ripped off. The sushi tasted fresh but it's not a truck I'd return to. Great idea, overpriced product. read more

Good sushi, seemed fresh and had a nice presentation. Prices have little to be desired for what you get. Convenience may be a factor, but in the area in which I work there are a couple of sushi places that deliver as well as a regular offering once per week in the building where I work's café. A $5 cone-shaped hand roll with a small piece of fish is very much over priced. Again, food is good it's just not a good value. read more
