He pulled his 1965 rebuilt VW truck right up to the shelter we rented and went to work like a well oiled machine. He and his sister were running things that day and we could tell our event was in good hands. You just have to see this truck to know what I'm talking about. It's like a taco truck but so much more creative. The price included all you can eat hot dogs, Polish Sausage, Italian Sausage, chili, relish, ketchup, mustard, jalapenos (my favorite!) and onions. He also brings Greek salad, a variety of chips and pop and water, as well as paper products. I guess when you break it down, there's not much you can do to screw up hot dogs and sausages, though they were delicious. But hire them for your next family reunion or corporate event and you wont be disappointed.

It's not something you see everyday so I had to try it. A little mustard and ketchup on a steamed bun with a plump juicy dog resting in the middle. The consistency is pretty close to the familiar hot dogs most of us adore but the heat from the spice on the back end is something really tremendous. My special lady had the Polish which was also really great. I don't know the back story on Frank's...how long they've been around, whether they make their own dogs and sausages or not, but I can say that their cool little convertible mini bus is a sign of good things to come.

Upon walking up to the truck, I was immediately greeted by one of the employees. Love when that happens. There were signs guiding me toward the menu to select what I wanted. As my first time, I opted for more standard rolls, the California and Spicy Tempura. Both had all the traditional favorites. Crab, Avocado, shrimp, tempura, and honestly was way better than I imagined coming from a food truck. The California was my favorite as the spicy tempura lacked spice. Each roll came with 8 pieces and filled me up for lunch! My coworker order the "Fiesta" roll and the Salmon Hand Roll and was extremely satisfied as well. We both were overly impressed with the quickness of the process, as well as the appearance of the truck. You can tell the inside as immaculately clean and it made me feel better ordering sushi from a food truck. I loved my experience and will definitely be back the next time the food truck comes close to work!

Then when I bit into the handroll I found that the salmon was sliced super thin and only went halfway into the roll. This was super cheap in my opinion. Improvement: maybe have a sushi burrito you charge 10-13 for and you pack it with cucumber choice of meat avocado and rice. Also the meat was not as well done as I would expect from a food truck. Then they upcharge for eel sauce or spicy mayo. These are standard for any real sushi restaurant.

Maybe best to wait in the car, it's quite cold in the small back area. I recall seeing this food truck somewhere. Order via the kiosk just inside. Ordered a chicken shawarma salad, shug hot sauce, side of hummus, side of pickled chili, falafel balls, side of cauliflower. $39.47 No receipt, text or email only via the kiosk order and payment method. The greens, mostly the red leaves are soggy and wilted. The pickled red cabbage is decent. The shawarma is so-so. The chicken shawarma salad is average. Chicken and overall salad ingredients are rather salty. The cauliflower dish is underwhelming. Big pieces of flower, not super flavorful. The pickled chili is okay. The side of hummus is very small, barely worth getting it, not enough for much. Falafel isn't bad with the tahini.

You order online or at the electronic kiosk when you walk in. The staff is really friendly and the food reflects the kind of care and attention that I really appreciate. Everything was fresh tasting and well made. Even the take-out bag is thought out - it is a small disposable, insulated bag that helps to keep your food warm until you get home. Very cool! The pitas are really good too. Highly recommend!
