I've had good experiences with a good amount of their masseuses, usually the spots I find may have only 1 really solid person and rest average. Over here, I've liked the majority of them. Angela is very precise and very solid technique. Good for someone that can only take say 5/10 in pressure. I'm abnormally broken and require way too much pressure but for typical person she is plenty strong enough. Jack has one of the best reflexology massages I've experienced in all my years. Hits a lot of good spots without being overly painful using his hands and not tools. Uses elbows with high precision during the body massage and knows when to go with/against the muscle fibers. Very strong pressure. Jimmy or Peter ...I forget (Apologies), very strong massage and if you ask him to, will kill you the pointiest elbow cross muscle fibers the entire time. Worth every penny! Before I explain how great of an experience I had, just a quick story on why I ended up going in the first place. About 6 days ago, I sprained my lower calf/Achilles muscle and wasn't able to walk for the first 2-3 days. I started icing and elevating my leg for a couple days and once I got a chance to walk, I booked an appoint! I then walk in and explain the exact story and showed my bruises on my leg and Helen didn't speak the best English but she knew exactly what I needed. If you love never had a deep tissue massage on an existing injury, I'd check with a doctor first before you attempt anything like this. I paid $50 for 50 mins (30 mins lower body, 20 mins upper body massage). Probably the best investment I've made in a while. I've been a local resident for many years & I've tried most of the massage spots in the area. Due to the pandemic I noticed many great little spots closed down so I decided to retry this place (since I couldn't remember as to why I stopped coming). I came twice within these last 3 months and they did change their prices by $5-10 within that time frame (I didn't mind since it's still a pandemic & they always want more tips). In the past I noticed the woman here don't really massage you hard enough and it feels like rubs instead with them. So I specifically asked for a man who's name is Theo/Leo and the first time wasn't bad, it actually felt okay & I left a 30% tip. I went again this week with him and I completely regret it. I left feeling worse than how I felt coming in. I currently can't move my spine/neck/arm without it hurting. He literally massaged my spine with his elbow really HARD and wasn't even doing it right...you're not supposed to massage directly onto the spine. I told him to stop multiple times because I couldn't bear the pain and he ignored me. I don't want to get into too much detail but he hurt me pretty badly in other areas too, it literally felt like torture. I have a really high pain tolerance, so keep in mind that it really HURT. Instant regret. When it came to paying, I added a 20% tip because even though it felt horrible, I worked in the customer service industry so I understand they need the tips. He literally stood there rudely looking at the money I gave him and I knew he was about to ask me for more. So I clarified that the rest was his tip and left. Now that I've been here more than once, I'm ready to review! My grandmother has been coming here even more often than I have - she loves this place and they love her (because she tips so generously)! It's in the corner between Vons and Rite Aid - kinda easy to miss. Park in front of Rite Aid and walk toward Subway & the bakery (Warning: it's kinda hard to find parking in this crowded parking lot!). It's next to a dental office on the left corner. I get the $15 one-hour foot massage, but it's really an all body massage in my opinion. They start you out soaking your feet in some herbal/medicated water (at least it smells like it, but they won't admit they did anything to the water). You sit on the ottoman while they massage your back, neck, and arms for 15-20 minutes. Then once your feet are softened, you switch to the large comfortable chair and they work on your feet for 15-20 minutes, then your face, neck, and head for ~10 minutes. Lastly, you lay on your stomach and they massage your entire back of the body (including your hips and rear end....yes, they slap your butt and it feels good) for 15-20 minutes. The hour goes by so quickly! (Your clothes are on the entire time) I've never had to make appointments, and neither have my family/relatives. They have 4-5 (or more) masseuses at a time, and they have individual rooms. I like that they don't have a strong smell. Some massage places I've been to have really heavy smells that make me dizzy. I make a habit with timing my massages now. We didn't say anything. After we paid, they laughed at the amount we tipped. They said $5 is standard and $7-$10 if it was really good. OBVIOUSLY IT WAS NOT GOOD AND OUR MASSAGES ENDED EARLY. Their service has dramatically dropped from when I first started coming here. They do a lousy job and expect a huge tip. It's located in a "not so nice" plaza, hidden in the far right side of the plaza, depending on where you enter. It looks kind of ghetto when you look at it from the outside.
