It's really easy to spot the location as you approach the shopping plaza from the south, and it took me less than 5 minutes to get here from I-285. The studio is nicely decorated, giving a comfy, welcoming feeling when you enter. This is in stark contrast to some studios I've gone to that are basic and drab. There is only space for one class at a time, but the floor is huge! I'm thinking there would be more than enough room for a class of 30 people. There are barres (the portable kind) for hosting ballet classes, and weights of all sizes for fitness classes. The floor is kind of slippery, so if you tend to dance barefoot a lot and have soft feet (like me - definitely slipped a couple times lol) I'd suggest to at least wear some jazz footies with a grip bottom. There is ample cubbie space to store your belongings during class. There's even a good amount of waiting room for parents if you're looking to hold a class for children. Also there is a dressing room in addition to one unisex bathroom. On my way out, I spoke to the owner who was extremely friendly and mentioned that the studio has several time slots open for rentals at the moment. Dance instructors - check this place out!

The owner Kathy Hopper is the ultimate professional. Kathy makes it a point to remember everyone's name and if applicable physical limitations and injuries. All of the instructors are welcoming and friendly. Lagree can be tough but it's so rewarding. It's a full body workout and very efficient. You get an excellent mix or resistance training and cardio. First things first... let's talk about the parking. Parking is free and conveniently located directly in front of the studio. If you're familiar with the Sandy Springs area, it's in the same shopping center as Kroger, making it incredibly easy to find and access. My instructor for this class was Dayna, and she was so warm and welcoming. One thing that really stood out to me was that she immediately recognized I was new to this location. Rather than simply checking me in, she offered to give me a quick tour of the studio and shared a little about Highland Yoga before class started. That extra personal touch made me feel genuinely welcomed, and it's something I always appreciate when trying a new location. The studio itself is spacious, clean, and very well maintained--consistent with the experience I've had at the other Highland Yoga studios I've visited. It's clear they take pride in creating a comfortable environment for their members. Another bonus for me was the class schedule. They offer an 8:15 a.m. class, which I found to be the perfect middle ground. It's early enough that you can get your workout in and still have plenty of time to tackle the rest of your day afterward. Overall, this was another wonderful Highland Yoga experience. At the time, I needed the childcare. It. Is. Excellent. Not only that, but the facility itself is wonderful. Great equipment for when you don't want to do a class. AMAZING locker room and showers. You are supplied with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, razors, flat irons, curling irons, robes, towels, etc. The classes are top notch with tough yet encouraging instructors. Can't say enough about the variety and personality of the instructors. They. Are. The. Best. Each of them brings their own flair to their classes. My only nitpick would be that the cycle classes are now Les Mills RPM. I miss cycle instructors, like the beloved Susan, doing themed cycle classes like Valentine's Day or what not. :) The RPM method seems to reign in the instructors' creativity and haven't done cycling much since. I waned in attendance and ended my membership and later when I felt I needed group exercise again, joined LA Fitness. LAF is good, but really missed the camaraderie of WPF. It costs a touch more, but the amenities are much better. Also, at LAF the instructors weren't as safety conscious or motivating (one instructor would contradict every other fitness instructor I've ever, ever had). I'm now back at WPF. It really is a family. Since my first joining and rejoining the management had changed, but both were excellent.
