As an athlete, my biggest concern was recovering fully and safely so I could return to training. I began rehab with PT Gabriela Rodriguez on May 1st at South Florida Rehab and Training Center, and from day one I knew I was in the best hands. Gabriela has been essential to every step of my recovery--she is professional, dedicated, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable. Thanks to her personalized and progressive approach, I've regained mobility, strength, and confidence in my body, and I'm well on my way to returning to CrossFit when I'm ready. I also want to highlight the entire team: Gabriel Carvajal, the CEO & DPT, is always present and truly attentive to the patients; David Felipe, the VP & lead physical therapist, whose expertise and leadership are reflected throughout the center; and PTAs Nico Antido and Juan Viviescas, who have been incredibly supportive and dedicated. The front desk staff, namely Ms. Nora, is highly competent and polite. She went out of her way to make several calls to get my situation cleared up and expedited my first appointment. My first visit was great. Nicolas conducted an over assessment/evaluation and set up a plan for my treatment. They have a team approach at MNRS and all of the employees pitch in to assist each client. My all time favorite is Nubia, she is amazing. She provides outstanding treatment. I told him what was wrong with me (golfers elbow on both elbows) and what i couldn't do. He worked his magic and then gave me recommendations on how to adjust my wrist positions on various exercises and now, months later, i don't even ever remember having golfers elbow anymore even though i suffered with it for months before even seeking help. My first meeting with the doctor went so well and he honestly seemed to care about me, but once I started seeing the lady for the medication refills, everything changed. She is often late to appointments and has cancelled my appointment before; and her attitude is harsh, abrasive and completely unsympathetic. The biggest issue for me was the fact that she made mistakes and this caused me to run out of my medicine, which was really scary at first. I'm fine now and I'm changing psychiatrists so hopefully I won't have to go through this again. But please choose literally any other place, there are so many psychiatrists out there that you do not need to put up with such a hostile and careless service.
