All of it was just uncomfortable for me. The room for me is too small. I'm 5 feet 11 and some of the workouts I cannot even do because no matter what angle I turned, I would be hitting somebody else. I did not feel that the instructor was beginner, friendly or engaging enough at all. I also had a hard time hearing the instructor on top of her telling us to do moves but not showing all of them..There's a lot of beginners in this class and majority of the room looked absolutely lost and confused and I just don't feel like she was interacting with people well enough or showing the workouts to where we can clearly understand and see. Half of the time I was really lost. Overall disappointed. When I left my first Pilates class I felt so comfortable, I felt seen and I absolutely enjoyed my experience. Everyone has different preferences, but this was just not it. I also felt like staff wasn't engaging enough for me either. Low energy. Overall not a good experience.

I am very frustrated with my experience with EOS gym, specifically the Addison, TX location. I had…read morea situation where I called and canceled my membership, as well as personal training agreement. The lady over the phone confirmed with me it was canceled and good I was good to go. I then noticed in May after looking at the card I did not use much that they had been continuously charging me the $130 dollars a month for both the membership and the $100 a month personal training. Not only was I not going but I had moved to a completely new state. When I noticed I called immediately and they looked into it and let me know that the original person I spoke to canceled the wrong persons memebership instad of mine. I was told I would be processed for a full refund and was only given back $50 of the almost $800 they stole from me. Everytime I call to try and get confirmation on being refunded the rest of the money I am told the manager is busy and will "look into it". I then have to be the one to follow up. The front desk people are wonderful and as helpful as they can be, but the management seem to care less and have bigger priorities. I find this extremely unprofessional and scummy and do not appreciate being out $800 because they decided to charge me for services I did not use. Additionally when attending personal training session you have to scan in with a finger print to confirm that you were the one attending the session, so I find it super suspicious that I was even being charged when I stopped attending the gym and was not there to sign into my PT sessions. Long story short, be aware when signing up for PT and getitng a membership at this gym. Do your due diligence to make sure they are not able to continue to charge you. Even after calling them the second time in May they still tried to charge my card (even at different locations I had never been to) and I had to have my bank block them from charging me. Modern, upbeat classes!…read more The classes offered at Jam Box are full of positive energy. You cant help but move and push yourself to do more. This gym is primarily women as most classes offered revolve around music. The classes are well choreographed and the instructors are fantastic people. It is kept very clean and has a cool waiting room. They have one bathroom so not a full changing area, but some people do change when they arrive.

(Again just from what I've gathered) Now why do we have to have a certain dress code (because they want everyone to feel comfortable) as if someone's else feelings are better than another's. If they cared that much about people's appearance then they would stop with the tootsie rolls, donuts and pizza but hey who am I.

I brought my son to this location (we have a family membership) and he was not allowed on the basketball courts because he is 8 years old. I contacted to General Manager Tricia and she remedied this right away. He is allowed as long as I accompanied him. Overall, this is a nice club. It has plenty of weights, machines, pool, and basketball courts. Some of the reviews have been subpar because it is not as fancy as other Lifetime Gyms. But this gym is less packed and has more weight and machine equipment than some of the fancier counterparts. I often drive further to this location.

I came across a groupon to this place to try out 10 hot yoga classes and a month of membership…read more The hot yoga room was a little small, but the class was amazing. The room stays between 90-95 degrees, and the instructor walks you through an hour of practice. I went to the 6am class, and it is a little intense for those that haven't practiced in a while. The room does get hot, and if your body isn't used to it, you will get dizzy, drink a ton of water!!!! It is a class for all levels though, so don't be intimidated by the girl that can twist her legs and do handstands at random, or the grunter that grunts every 5 seconds. The gym itself is pretty small, but it has all the equipment you need. Their bathrooms have lockers and showers as well. They offer towels as well and other items in the restrooms if you forget to bring your towel! It's pretty well maintained.
