    Phenomenal results after a few visitors. Staff is competent, attentive and has positive attitudes committed to solving problems.

I hopped on a Precor treadmill and tried to connect my iPhone. No luck. I asked staff on the floor if there was an app. No one knew. I went home and did a quick Google search. Precor uses the Preva app. Downloaded it. The app immediately asked for a club code. I called the Chandler location. Spoke with two people. Neither knew what I was talking about. I called two other locations. Same result. I finally spoke with an assistant manager. They checked with the general manager. Still no answer. Not a single person knew that Precor even has its own app. That alone was surprising. What happened next was worse. The assistant manager told me to call corporate. I did. The person who answered had clear attitude, no answers, and no idea who could help. I was then given the phone number for a local Precor sales rep. That is not a support experience. That is a handoff. I am writing this from two perspectives. 1) As a club member, this was frustrating and disappointing. 2)As a business consultant, this is exactly the kind of frontline failure I would escalate to ownership. You promote premium equipment, but your staff is not trained on basic features members actually use. You promote friendliness, but the experience felt indifferent, plus corporate attitude. You promote community, but new members are left to figure things out on their own. Mountainside Fitness started with smiles and towels. Somewhere along the way, the smiles stopped meaning much. (P.S. gave two stars because the physical gym is nice, equipment is good. But then again, that is the entry level expectation that every decent gym has. Customer service is the differentiator)

Long story short... this gym charged me 2.5 months while the gyms were closed for the pandemic. While traveling for the past 9 months I tried to cancel my membership and was unable to due to proper documentation. I live out of Airbnb's and hotels with no place of permanent residence. I was promised a hold for 3 months which would put me to September 2020 and to be credited the charges to my account for the months of October and November 2020. (My 12 month membership ended September 2020). I just reached out to the gym to cancel and get an update and I am told that my account has been canceled and that I was put into collections this past October 2020. Mind boggling! ?? While asking to speak with upper management, Vince says that he is and there is no one else I can speak with. ... unless he is the owner?? this is just a lie. I'm now in contact with Kingston the collection agency as well. How I owe over $200 is just pure ridiculous- as the company owes me reimbursement/credits. I'd like for this to be taken care of. Based on that assurance, I agreed. I canceled within 24 hours . However, the refund was refused. I was also not provided a written copy of the contract or cancellation policy at the time of signing. This experience was very disappointing. We were cancelling due to health reasons . John Allen is not trustworthy person . He gives false promise and cheat people by taking their money and start ignoring calls and messages once he got the money . I recommend that anyone considering signing up ask for the full written contract and not rely on verbal assurances. I do not recommend anyone to join this place . We felt misled and disappointed by how this was handled. Please make sure you receive all terms in writing before committing to any payment.
