Wow, is this worth it! It's a bit expensive but totally awesome to get stretched by someone who knows what they're doing. The 25 minute stretch is too short, I highly recommend the 50 minute. They start with an impact gun and massage you for about 10 minutes. After that, they stretch your lower half, then your upper half. You are mainly on your back on a padded table. Every one of the therapists I've used have been super kind and very nice. The weekend receptionist is a hoot. She has more energy than everyone else in the place, combined. One of the mid-week receptionists seems really young and mildly grumpy, I am going to avoid calling mid-week. Other than that, I highly recommend this if you are dealing with any health issues. With a new health care plan I was able to join Stretch Lab and so happy I did. My first stretch session was with Ralph and he was very knowledgeable with regard to muscle groups and how to stretch each group properly. He used a isometric resistance type stretch which facilitates a deeper and more full stretch in the muscle. I had a 25 minute one-on-one session which I felt was just the right amount of time to work on an area (we focused mostly on the legs and gluteal muscles. Getting a good stretch in my delts is near impossible for me to do on my own and have had much greater mobility, greater muscle fiber recruitment, and increased strengths in my shoulders since getting worked on. We've been there since the opening. First of all, everyone is such hard-working and super friendly. Also, how they communicate is just amazing. Always helpful and responsive. Now about the stretch. Since I started getting, I can recover from exercise quicker. I workout every day, just 1 day off in every 3-4 weeks. I know I should not do this. But this is how I do. My flexologist always tries to maximize the stretch to make my body recover quick and less chance of injury. He tells me to take 1 day off every week but I guess he's slowly giving up . It's different from massage. You can learn what and how you can do some stretch in the correct way at home. That's another benefit. Oh, 1 thing - so, again it's different from massage,so you can't fall asleep during your session . I highly recommend this place for everyone. read more

Usually when I try something new I do it three times before I make up my mind. First session was interesting but I was unsure it was good for my bad back which has scoliosis. Wow!!! Ok yelpers this new concept that just opened up here in Laguna Nigel is amazing!! Candi the GM was nothing but welcoming and not a used car sales woman. You could tell she generally cared about our business. My flexologist Austin was freakin amazing. There was another women in there named Sarah who was working on my wife and she loved her. This is honestly exactly what I have been looking for in adding to my work out routines. I really felt taller leaving my stretch and I only did a 25min!? Time to step it up to a 50 min baby!! The stretch with Kristine is amazing. Today I tried MAPS at Stretch Lab for free and you are scored on your mobility, posture and it actually shows where you are tight. Very interesting. After my stretch we did it again and I was shocked to see evidence on the screen that I scored even higher after a 55 minute hands on stretch. Not only did my score increase but The tight spots I had and were noted in red were gone. I've been going to this stretch lab in Laguna Niguel for four months on a weekly basis and it's fantastic. I get stretched by Annie who is very educated about anatomy and overall stretching. The stretching has made progressive flexibility in my shoulder and hamstrings. Also, the staff is very helpful and friendly whenever I need to cancel or reschedule. I signed up for the 4x per month (25 minute sessions) before they opened because I liked the concept and thought it might help me manage my arthritis a bit better. And it has made a tremendous difference over the last two months in my ability to move around! All the flexologists are excellent (I've seen 3 of them), but Nathan is my go to guy. He holds a doctorate in physical therapy and understands so much about how the body works and can explain things in a very easy to understand way. I have to say I was originally not sure if I would be comfortable coming here, thinking I'll be surrounded by a bunch of ultra-marathoners and triathletes doing post race recovery. Every single staff member has gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and not intimidated. My experience at StretchLab was far below my expectations, as I've been to stretch sessions by other companies that were much more comprehensive and impactful. My session at StretchLab consisted of a few very basic stretches that were done 3 times on each side. They weren't far beyond what I could have done at home by myself and hardly tackled the areas I needed focus on. I understand that each stretcher may have slightly different techniques, so I was considering giving StretchLab another try. However, they sent a follow up text the next day. I kindly responded with this feedback and received an automated text saying that someone would get back to me. It's been over a week and I have yet to hear back. Therefore, I wouldn't give StretchLab a recordation based upon both experience and customer experience. read more

Went today for an intro stretch. Stretch was awesome and I wanted to sign up for more. WELL... to sign up, $279.00 for four sessions a month. Very pricey in my opinion. Second option is a "walk in". Hmmm yeah, that's $95.00 for 50 minutes. Great concept but poor pricing. read more

This experience has been truly transformational! We discovered it in late December and have been here weekly ever since. I'm 65 and try to stay active but I've always been bad about making time to stretch. Now I get an hour stretch weekly and it is pure heaven - my body would throw a tantrum if I even think of not coming. I have also introduced this to my special needs adult son - they are beyond magical with him - always making him feel welcome and appreciated. Stretch Lab has changed my life! I suffer with Plantar Factitious which led to horrible knee and lower back pain and the inability to do much in terms of exercise. It even became difficult to stand in the kitchen cooking dinner. I signed up for Stretch Lab thinking why not try this since nothing else has work and within a month I was back to walking at least a mile. What an amazing concept for a business. I wish they had more of these already open in OC. The staff was all really warm and friendly. The woman who stretched me had a very calming energy to her and I never doubted that she knew what she was doing. I am recovering from an injury and she focused where I needed it. This might be more helpful than a one hour massage since this actually helps stretches the muscles and helps your body to relax. I had my first session with Jessica today, it was extremely therapeutic and stress relieving which I wasn't expecting going into it. I had never been to StretchLab before, so I wasn't really sure what to expect, but in the past I've gotten massage therapy for relaxation, physical therapy for injury rehab and have done pilates to increase flexibility and core strength. I signed up for a promotion being hawked on Facebook & Google for a free 2 week pass for the "group stretching" classes! It turned out to be a clickbait scam, the next day a woman named Savannah called me, surprise, surprise, her sole objective was to try to sell me intro sessions! When I asked her about the promotion I responded to, she actually told me there was NO GROUP SCHEDULE available online, and you have TO CALL AND CHECK whenever you want to take a class?! I let her know that was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, I have a full time job, how could I possibly incorporate their classes into my schedule, if I don't even have access to when they are being held?! I then requested that Savannah email me a copy of whatever group classes they have currently scheduled, needless to say, I never received the 2 week pass, or the schedule! I love this place and feel great after every session. I have chronic back problems and must be extremely careful with my back and with who works on my back. I know that I always benefit from a good stretch and having help is better but I was nervous the first time I went. Not any more! My therapist Ben, is highly trained in many areas including exercise physiology, physical therapy, yoga and stretch therapy.
