Pros: Clean Helpful with aches and pains Cons: Expensive Credits expire if not used... a bit hard when you're a busy mom w a full time job. I've tried 3 flexologists and really only like 1 (the others don't stretch me out enough...) but they don't work daily so when I can't make those days, I get someone I'm less enthused about. Overall, would love to continue indefinitely but it's hard w my schedule and if I miss any sessions it's hard to make it up. Like when a session was canceled last min bc a flexologist called in sick... I had a lot of trouble using the credit another time. Also, be aware you're signing up for at least a 3 month commitment initially I see mostly older folks here, so I think, as someone in their 30s... I don't fully need their services. read more

Beware!! This is probably the 2nd negative yelp review I've ever written, but I'm just that put off by my experience with this business. The core function of the business - assisted stretching, is good. They do what they say. I'm sure for some folks its great and for others maybe not worth the hefty price. But the business practices are not that of a well run business that wants to earn and retain your respect and your business. How they get you into the ongoing subscription felt a lot like when the finance guy at a car dealer is trying to sell you an extended warranty, but that is not my primary beef. What really torqued me is that they make it very hard to END your subscription. I tried to end my subscription in their online portal and it was not possible to do so, even though they had a button that says "Cancel Subscription". After sending an email cancellation and sharing my request with several of their employees over the phone, they still kept renewing my subscription. Ultimately, after there were over $1200 of invalid charges, I went into the store and found the General Manager. While he was civil (not friendly), he showed absolutely no ownership or compassion for the fact they'd been charging me for months after my last stretch and how it feels like I've been being bilked. I asked him to look at from my perspective as the customer and how I've been being charged for months without my permission and have received no value from them. He responded with "We have a no refunds policy". That's not my problem! If you take my money without authorization, when I've told you in writing and verbally that I do not authorize it, that is simply wrong! The GM said, "Well we've fixed that going forward in the portal so you can cancel from there, because it's the law now in California." Well I tried the portal that morning and he's either poorly informed or just making stuff up, as the portal still did not allow me to cancel. He ultimately gave me no choice but to take credits (which are much cheaper from their perspective), but that is just bogus. It's a good business concept, in a nice town, but the business practices come off as very low rent and short-sighted. A business built on finding a way to take advantage of your customer at every turn will not last. BTW, almost all of the employees in the store were different from those I worked with four months ago. Looked like a ton of turnover. BEWARE! read more

Staff is great. Allison and Porscha are awesome. They are both very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Their store is very clean and well maintained. I come once a week on top of my workouts and I have much better mobility and feel much looser when I am moving about during my day. Membership is a bit pricey but it's worth it. read more

Assisted stretching is a unique fitness focus. I love that you target areas needed each time you go. 50 mins is luxe but I do the 25 mins so that I can go more frequently. Scheduling online is easy and convenient and the "flexologists" are trained and thoughtful. You are in close personal space to the person stretching you -took me a bit to get used to that! read more

Protect your credit card information at all costs when dealing with this establishment. The staff appears to be poorly trained, or possibly not trained at all. If you're looking to leave feeling worse than when you arrived, then this is the place for you. However, if you're seeking a qualified professional to guide you through stretching exercises, look elsewhere and save your hard-earned money. If you do end up falling for their false promises, be sure to closely monitor your credit card transactions. When I attempted to cancel my appointment, I was informed that I needed to come in to complete some paperwork. Upon arriving, I was told that the manager was unavailable and that she would call me. After receiving a call from the manager, I was informed that my card would be charged on May 9th. When I returned on May 8th to fill out the paperwork, I was told that I needed to provide a 31-day notice. This is an absurd and deceptive scam. In addition to their lack of training, the staff also demonstrates a complete disregard for customer service. If you're looking to speak with a manager, good luck - they appear to be difficult to locate. Overall, I would highly recommend avoiding this establishment and seeking out a more qualified and reputable provider for your stretching needs. read more

These therapists are awesome! I've had an experience with several of their folks and I've loved every single one of them. If you need to loosen up this is the place! I wasn't A believer or did I think it would work, but after three or four months I'm totally in. My body is in a better spot. I feel it and am living a more flexible me because of this place. Overall I found Stretch Lab to be very good and signed up for several months. Chandler was my go to and did a good job stretching my out (I am semi-recovering from disc/back surgery). It's a little pricey, but they were pretty good about working with my schedule and flexing classes I wasn't able to use in the calendar month due to work or personal obligations. I would say personally I fell into a trap of relying TOO heavily on StretchLab and neglecting stretching at home on my own, but that's more of a me problem. I think for anyone who is trying to start a new habit or get some help holding them accountable, Stretch Lab is great. Probably ideally going twice a week would be best, but from a cost perspective it just didn't make sense for me so I was doing once per week. read more

I found StretchLab through my Medicare Supplemental insurance and I love it! The fact that my insurance covers it means it's great for people who are slowly aging, which is literary everyone. I'm on the lower end of "old" and I'm hoping that by stretching and keeping active I will be healthier as I grow older. StretchLab is almost like a massage, they bend you and shape you any way you want or need, and if you have soreness, they will help you more with their massage gun. I highly recommend StretchLab. I began with SL about a year ago - starting in the Folsom Lab. Roseville is much closer, so I was excited when it opened. Going twice per week has improved my flexibility tremendously and done a great deal to relieve my chronic back issues . My golf swing is much less restricted. At the beginning of each session, am always asked if there are any issues to focus on for that session and all of the flexologists I work with are good listeners, super knowledgeable and friendly. I visited the Roseville location. After my appointment, I was approached by the staff to ask if I wanted to purchase more visits. It was explained VERY differently than what the contract reads. I am furious. Furthermore, I think that it was a scam to stop customers by the front door to sell them more visits. I admit that I didn't read the entire contract. My HUGE mistake. It was not clear at that time that I was now contracting to 3 months of payments that will total $329.00 a month. To add salt to the wound, the staff called tonight to schedule my next appointment, one day later than the 5 day cancellation period. The stretch works great. I never felt better. However the staff was very short, rude and cold. I almost felt by me coming in it was a big inconvenience. The manager was the worst. It seems they couldn't wait for me leave. When my time was up all they said was "ok that's all the time for today" and went into the back, and just left me laying on the table. no goodbye, thanks for coming in, how do you feel, nothing. I've been coming to StretchLab for 6 months. I began with lower back pain, ITband issues, hip pain, leg pain, that had plagued me for nearly 6 years. I had gained weight because I couldn't even go hiking without paying for it. 3.5 months in I was pain free. It took some time and patience. I've been afraid to cancel with fear that the pain will come back again. So I've been learning how to stretch on my own. I hate stretching I don't know why. But this works, and it's not a forever investment. Learning self discipline is really the key. There's a book called Tight Hip Twisted Core that is exactly what I was dealing with. For all the people who think it's too expensive, you don't know how much I've spent on pain management for 6 years. I think it's a fair price and you don't need to do it forever. Go until you're pain free for a few months and then taper off to stretching on your own or with a partner. It's been totally worth it. read more

The employees at the Roseville location are friendly and individual service they provide is good. The issue with this company is the cooperate rules which are not aligned with quality client service. I signed up for three month subscription at $499 pr month, At the end of the 3 months I asked that they stop making automatic charges. Even after they acknowledged my instructions they charged me for a forth Month. Trying to work with them to find a mutually agreeable solution became impossible. I finally had to file a dispute with my credit card company and place a block on any chareges from Stretch Lab. Now they say I owe $25 but refuse to send me a statement. I don't trust them with a credit card so have asked for an address. So far they can't even do that. Be very careful with Stretch Lab and guard your credit card. read more

I have been very pleased with StretchLab Kyle. I have been going for about 3 months and the front desk personnel are friendly and welcoming. I go in with tight muscles, but come out feeling more calm and relaxed after being stretched by Amy. Since my knees have arthritis, she is always careful not to hurt them, but stretch the muscles around them which is helping to strengthen my legs. Amy is well educated and trained and is looking out for my health and well-being. I will continue to use StretchLab Kyle and highly recommend. read more

One thing I love is you can use your health savings to pay for the sessions and the few sessions I did do the staff are all great!! Downside you have to use your sessions or you lose them. They can change staff on you and when you cancel you loose your money and your session. When they change the staff on me I cancelled because I wanted to work with someone specific. When I checked my app I lost the money and the session. Because of that I won't be back. Great concept but a little high priced unless you do package deals. I have been going to Stretch lab for nearly a year. The staff is great. They are very good at figuring out where your problem areas are, stretching them out and giving stretches you can do at home between visits. They have helped me improve my posture as well as having much better mobility. My husband, who has Parkinson's Disease, also uses StretchLab. The staff has been very patient and respectful when stretching him. They have been able to loosen up a lot of his muscles which have been tightened due to PD. The Stretch Lab has been a lifesaver. I have arthritis and have struggled with sever pain in my arms and shoulders for the past 3 years . Im a barber and work 40+ hours a week. I see Karine once a week and she has helped me become more flexible and my pain subsides after our weekly 50 minute session. It is a good service but it is too expensive. I initially signed up for a three month plan because they were offering a grand opening discount and after the initial three month term was up, I wanted to continue with my service but did not want to commit to another expensive three month plan. I asked for a less expensive a la carte options but was told that the a la carte plans were so prohibitively expensive that it only made sense to continue with another three month plan. I did not feel that the initial three month plan was enough to determine if professional stretching was the solution to my pains so I signed up for another three months. After the second three month plan, I decided that, although I was more limber, my pain persisted so I could not continue. Inevitably, over time, StretchLab will either lower their prices or go out of business. If and when they lower their prices to something more reasonable, I would gladly resume service. read more
