First time trying out today Stretch Lab together with a friend. They had some sort of open house so we appreciate a lot the 25 minutes or wonderful stretching. It was my first time having someone stretching me, not one a machine or the usual stretch device at the gym. It felt great and very relaxing. For now I am not going to do the membership but my friend found out that her son with autism can attend sessions as they coordinate with the SD Regional Center. Nice thing we learned, as kids with special needs benefit of stretching to calm them down. Very friendly folks. All very pleasant. read more

I've been stretching with Amelia for a while now, and she's truly an excellent Flexologist who really cares about your needs. She always takes time to review the notes from previous sessions, talks with you beforehand to understand how your body feels that day, and adjusts the stretch plan to help you improve in the areas you want to focus on. What stands out is that Amelia is also a yoga teacher, which makes her stretching approach especially effective -- she knows how to precisely target the right muscles. Through our sessions, I've learned a lot about my body -- which areas are already flexible and which need more attention. Over time, by focusing on those weaker spots, I've noticed clear improvement. After each session, I feel lighter, more relaxed, and experience much less muscle and body tension from work and sports. There's several reasons I enjoy coming to this Stretch Lab location. It's closer to my home and I feel like I get the stretch I need. Alyssa the flexologist is who I like to help me. She pays attention to my concerned areas and she directs my stretches to those areas. She doesn't waste time with too much chatter before the stretch, we get to the point and so I feel I get the most advantage with my allotted time there. The location is clean and organized and the front desk staff are all very nice. I don't feel pressured (excuse the pun) to schedule multiple trips which I appreciate. I've been going to StretchLab for the past couple of months. I mostly work with personal trainers Jayda and Kiera - I highly recommend. All the personal trainers I've worked with are top notch. The stretch sessions really help my arthritis related stiffness. My body feels better and more flexible after a session and the stretches help make my yoga practice more effective as well. The manager Ron is very helpful. Their app makes it easy to schedule and change appointments. Give StretchLab a try. read more

I tried the 25 minute demo session with Holly during the open house cuz my mom really enjoys her stretch sessions, but perhaps because I don't have any physical issues currently, I didn't feel much benefit from the single stretch session. I think that this service will greatly benefit older patients and people who have tension or tightness for whatever reason. Probably need more than one session to know though. If you have extra cash to spare (since it is kind of pricey), I imagine that regular stretching can only benefit you! It definitely feels different and more effective compared to stretching by yourself. read more

I recommend stretchlab 100 percent. I workout 5-6 times a week and noticed how tight my muscles were. I've noticed a significant increase in my flexibility and feel great after each session. My sleeping has improved and I don't feel as sore/tight throughout my body. Avoid at best, I signed up for the service last year before the studio was even up on conditions that they accept HSA payments. They even charged my account twice. Later I received call that they do not accept that mode of payment and for which i requested cancellation on same day. Since then I had requested cancellation update multiple times via text , call and mail. During this time I availed no services except demo stretch before studio was open. And now I keep getting payment due notices for 190 bucks for services i have not availed. These people are not responsible or customer oriented if your service goes sideways, be prepared for a good heart burn. read more

The staff is very personable and make you feel very welcome. In particular, Missy has been working with me almost exclusively and I am more than happy with my improving strength and flexibility. I had my first session with StretchLab Scripps Ranch on 2/28/24. I've been experiencing pain in my left hip/glute that often travels down into my shin, and sometimes even down to my foot. I hate stretching but I know it's good for me, so I figured assisted stretching might suit me, and it did! I only had a 25-minute session because that's what my insurance benefit allows (Medicare Advantage Plan) and I wish it had been a full 50 minutes. My flexologist was Holly S. And she was great! Firm, but gentle. She asked me throughout the session how I was doing and to rate the amount of the stretch I was feeling. She wanted me to feel the stretch but not to feel pain. She was very caring and knowledgeable. I was definitely feeling less tightness after the session. I will for sure go back. The studio manager, Ron, was very welcoming and efficient too. He got me setup with the mobile app, which is convenient. And, the studio itself is very well maintained, clean and a good environment for stretching. Soft music, soft lighting and comfortable tables on which the stretching session is conducted. All in all, a big thumbs up! read more

I visited StretchLab Scripps Ranch studio a week ago for stiffness and chronic sciatic pain. I felt huge improvements after the session and still felt good now. My flexologist Alyssa provided me with an effective treatment plan, focused on performing deep stretches towards my lower body (as most needed), and also demonstrated daily home stretches for my case. I am very impressed by her knowledge, skills and immense experiences. The General Manager Kyle is so friendly and professional running the business. I will definitely return. I had my first session with Jose and was very pleased with how he listened to me and my concerns. He proceeded to help me with the stretches that would benefit me while explaining each stretch that he was applying to the areas that were hurting or needed strengthening. After leaving and going home, I felt very relaxed and decided I needed to continue with these stretch sessions. I've been using stretch lab before they were officially open at this location. Met Jayda early on and have been doing my stretches with her ever since. First off, she's super easy to talk to and listens to your body while the stretch is happening. I always feel Very comfortable even if my body isn't feeling great the day I come in for my stretch. I'm not older but face had some sports injuries and car crashes that have hindered workouts and day to day activities. Regardless of age I recommend to try them out for yourself as it has helped my body improve. Ask for Jayda or any of the people there they seem to do a great job at finding good employees. I feel like this place owes me an apology. I was nothing but kind and respectful to everyone I encountered there, yet a gift package my wife bought me was prematurely terminated due to a misunderstanding. Essentially, my grimacing in pain during one stretch (due to wearing a tight fit of jeans) was mistook for some kind of s*xual gratification. Disgusting. They won't instruct you the proper attire for a stretch session, but they will tell you too many times to wear grip socks. I didn't like how I was hounded by the receptionist on phone and text at the beginning process, also. You already left me a voicemail, no need to text me right after. I had Alyssa and she was very capable on stretching someone who very very tight from an accident I had decades ago. i recommend the longer stretch time as I have done both the shorter 25 min and longer 50 min ones. As I've gotten older, flexibility is becoming more and more of an issue. I have a horse and I ride regularly. I golf several times a week and walk my dog every day. As I've moved into my late 60s, I want to keep as active as possible. The assisted stretch is wonderful. My flexibility is improving and I'm learning how to stretch better at home. The staff is friendly and talented. I believe I've had stretches now from almost all the flexologists . They're all very good. Each one seems to really care about your specific needs.
