Fast forward half a year, and I'm now working out 5 days a week, feeling stronger, more mobile, and full of energy. My mobility and movement have drastically improved, and I've gained lean muscle while losing body fat, I'm fitting into clothes that hadn't fit in years and feeling more confident in my everyday life. I'm stronger both physically and mentally. My cardio endurance, flexibility, and overall strength have all improved dramatically. I actually look forward to every workout. Amy (the head coach) is such an amazing coach and person who genuinely cares about your well-being. She meets you exactly where you are and helps you progress safely and effectively. Every class feels like a personal training session. She's fully aware of my mobility limitations, makes smart modifications, and teaches techniques that build a strong, lasting foundation. Her approach ensures that you're not only getting fitter but also moving better and preventing injury. All of the coaches here are fantastic, knowledgeable, motivating, and supportive. They create an environment where everyone can succeed, no matter their fitness level. I've been to nine gyms in the past five years, and this one is by far the best. The community here is uplifting, supportive, and motivating, everyone encourages each other to keep showing up and doing their best. This LA Fitness is not well cleaned or well kept. Usually i don't care too much, although I have…read morementioned the visibly dust-ridden vents over the pool being nasty for swimmers. But last week, while showering in the handicap, my towel and beach bag outside the curtain, I got out to find my hanging towel and entire bag with my clothing, Iphone and only car (infrared) key drenched from the broken shower nozzle spewing all over. The wet key shorted out and i could not start my car, leaving me stranded at home for over a week until a new dealer-only key was ordered and arrived at a price tag of $500! I left my car in their lot the first day, explained to the staff and requested a call from manager (which didnt come.) I had it towed home. Staff told me, "so sorry, but we dont do anything for damages." This is ridiculous! Their fault, my huge expense?! I called and requested another call from the district and regional manager as staff would not provide their contact info. Luckily, I googled and snail mailed a letter to corporate- but still nothing. ***Just saying, customer service is dead. LA Fitness doesn't give a hoot about you or their clubs as long as you keep coming. Your call.

I took an introductory class with Stephanie and was hooked! Given my schedule, I signed up for 4 classes/month. I'm 12 classes in and starting to feel pretty good! It has become a stress reliever after a crazy day at work, and I REALLY look forward to the classes. The class size is small so you don't feel like you're just a number. The instructors check in with each person to see how they're doing and their condition, help guide you through the exercises, use equipment properly and safely, modify movements as needed,and have you working out to fun music! I'm at Level 1.0 but I feel like every time I go, there's always something new. I also love the fact that you don't have to feel self-conscious or awkward being there. They have a diversity of people in class of all shapes, sizes, and ages who are all at different stages of their fitness journey. Give this place a try!

I paid for services they did not honor per their agreement. This club does not value customer service, in any capacity. The first class I took with the lead instructor was not great. I being a beginner needed some guidance and the instructor was not helpful in any capacity. When I requested help, I got an eye roll & I was made to feel like I was a nuisance. Moving forward to booking additional classes as time progressed every class I attempted to book was always full . Granted it is a smaller studio and the parking is also very limiting which is also discouraging. After working out at other studios and gyms that they are much more accommodating and helpful then Club Pilates. Club Pilates in San Marcos is not worth the money at $30 a class. I also get a much better workout at other studios and gyms that are less. I asked to get a refund on the remainder of my class package I purchased and was told to go to other locations that are not convenient for me.

The only thing to be aware of is that there are seriously good burritos being cooked a few doors down, so if you work out before breakfast like I do, be advised that the parking lot tends to smell absolutely delicious. My husband thought I had a Jazzercise membership at the new location so that's why it went under the radar. When I asked for a refund, I was told they might be able to give me back a few months. Later I was told "no refunds." Jazzercise stole money from me for four years. I was told it was my fault for not realizing they were still taking money out of my account. REALLY?! The owner claimed to be a small business, and that's why she didn't know this was happening. I happen to know the smaller your company, the easier it is to keep track of what's happening in your business. We will all see a reply from the owner saying that she doesn't see any paperwork to stop the membership. (Which we talked about) I told the gal at the front desk I was moving, and she said to me that they would take care of everything. I thought what great customer service! I was wrong. If that's not the correct way then than she shouldn't have told me that. I believed her.
