I actually joined back 2018 when they first opened, and while the workouts were great the operations side was a hot mess. Fast forward and I heard they came under new management in 2022... I was still skeptical but decided to give it a try and WOW! This place has really turned around! The workouts are challenging and always different, which i love otherwise I get bored. The trainers are super helpful, encouraging and always motivating and challenging us. I need to modify for lots of injuries and they always find substitutes that accommodate my injuries and are still challenging. Zero issues with management, they are caring, open to hear our opinions and run a tight ship. Having childcare is amazing, no excuses for this mana! All the childwatch employees are angels and I love that my girls can watch their mama get strong from the little window. But it's the community for me... WILDLY supportive, I never feel intimidated or judged. I only feel loved! The trainers take time to know your name, know your injuries and push you when needed or mod down for injuries. A bonus is all the friends you'll make. Really bad experience with the admin folks. 1) Went in for the 7 day trial, liked the courses, decided to go on month to month, after a week got COVID, left voicemail, called them no response. 2) I didn't realize 1 month was up, and barely went back, I called them to cancel my second month (and my wife is expecting anytime soon so cant make time for the classes) and they are quoting 7 day notice for cancellation, It's just been a day since renewal, I didn't go back and was out sick most of the first month. Kayla is the most inspiring welcoming instructor and leads a great workout. The workouts are at a slower pace unlike other places like F45 which I used to go to but moving from one station to the next was TOO fast. I got a better work out doing the exercises slower but for a longer period of time so you feel your muscles working and you work up a good sweat. Exercises are not difficult but effective and Kayla provided modifications for my sore knees and back. It is now under new ownership and the entire staff care 100% about their members. Burn was "my place" to decompress and I am so happy to be back with the new owners and trainers. I previously had hip surgery in December 2021 so I was on a fitness hiatus for a little and being back, they know my limits and don't make me feel bad that I am not where I was before. I've been going to Burn since Feb 2023. Before starting at Burn, I had trouble finding time to workout on my own. I would keep putting it off and tell myself "I'll start tomorrow.." "After the holidays..", etc. I finally signed up for a camp after a friend encouraged me to go with her, and I was hooked. Everyone was so encouraging and friendly. I typically go 5-6 days a week now and get FOMO if I miss a day! My 14 year old son has even joined and I love having him there working out with me. They have child-watch, unlimited camps and focus meetings where you get all personal updates for your goal. The trainer barely gave me any instruction or correction and I did not like the flow of the gym. I was invited back when the new ownership took over and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Great trainers but they all get fired eventually due to poor management and horrible owners that are always absent. Don't get attached to the trainers because they never stay long. The trainers were the only reason why I kept my membership. I finally canceled when they fired 3 great trainers with in a couple of months then tried to continue taking money from members who could no longer afford it due to covid. If you are looking for a gym where you won't get bored and also don't want to have to plan a workout, this is for you. I have tried so many gyms before Burn; multiple kickboxing clubs, your basic gym, on my own at home. All of them I either became bored of the same workout or got tired of figuring out what to do on my own. When I walk into Burn I know to expect a quality workout that changes daily. It is challenging and you certainly feel the Burn, during the workout and for days afterwards. The trainers at Burn are there to push you, help correct your form, motivate you and show you how to modify it needed. The staff and fellow Burn members are very friendly. It's my 45 minutes to focus on myself and I feel amazing every time. I have been here for 3 years now. There has been a recent change in management and it has only gotten better since then.
