My back was spazzing up and I was impressed by the reviews and fast availability. My mistake. He talked and talked and talked, and frequently corrected me tartly for not having some part of my body in the proper place. For example, he told me to tense my bicep (I'm there for lower back which he has not yet addressed) so I "made a muscle". He said "I didn't ask you to tense your whole arm, just your bicep." Which was true so I tried again but it wasn't intuitive to flex one muscle without others, so I did it wrong again. He then grabbed my wrist and bent my arm and said "see?" Oh, not flexed like I thought. I didn't know. This went on and on -- basically he was showing me I involved too many muscles because I was tense but it was like trial and error with no focus on my back pain. Finally, 55 minutes in he gets to my problem area and ultimately had to go 5 minutes overtime (making a to-do about resetting some sort of timer) and telling me that other practitioners only do 50 minutes. Maybe so, I thought, but they probably also give you treatment on the problem area and not a game of really hard (for me) "Simon says" until 55 minutes have passed. Anyway, bad fit for me who had an acute issue and needed treatment fast. read more

Massage is ok, lets you feel relaxed and light. But this is it. Nothing really special. I had been to Turkish, Moroccan and Thai massages and some of them were way better. 1. Enrico made a comment on a lady that used a coupon from bloomspot, which made me feel not very desired in this place, because I had a coupon as well. 2. While getting my massage I prefer to keep silence and relax instead of answering numerous questions about my life. 3. Out of 60-minutes massage (stated on coupon) I got only 40. The rest were conversations(((( 4. Needs to work on customer service and appearance. Personally for me, it's unacceptable to talk to a guest and chew baby carrots at the same time... Enrico is a godsend! I've been suffering from a pinched nerve with numbness/tingling in my right arm and hand for several months in addition to chronic tension over the years. Dealing with insurance companies isn't easy, and pretty much all massage therapists avoid it. Just for that, he gets plus points. I went to see Enrico upon recommendation of a co-worker. I have had a painful spot for the longest time (5 years) and usually tell masseuses to just work around it, because I can't stand their attempts. Enrico however, I saw strictly for this spot. He was awesome. Perfect manners, took the time to analyze my posture and then later on went to address my sore spot. I was ready to jump out of my skin, but he helped me breath thru it, let go of the pressure and stopped when it was clear I couldn't go on. Mine was not a spa massage. I was twisted, kneaded, moved around to allow him the fullest and best access to my pain. The best thing - When I left I was free of pain. I have been going Enrico for two years now, and I wish I had connected with him sooner. In addition to solid Swedish technique, which I love, he has a way of zeroing in on tight areas where the muscles are solidly seiezed, the the rear shoulder from computer work, for example. He works these areas with such skill that that by the time he is done and moves on to the next trouble spot I have forgotten how much the first one hurt me. I have a rotator cuff injury and pain when I move my arm to certain positions. I injured it a couple of years ago and despite physical therapy from two different organizations and many exercise routines, it hasn't really improved. I met Enrico about 6 months ago. He is definitely an expert at working with individuals with orthopedic injuries. I like how he listens, works with the person's specific situation, and is open to learning. My shoulder area always feels better after treatment. One time, I had a lower back pain and he focused on that. My back was better in a couple of days! I went to see Enrico for shoulder and knee pain (from doing some serious cycling). Enrico has an exceptional understanding of muscles and joints and was able to assess the exact source of my pains and work on those areas very effectively - I went back to see him twice more over the following two weeks to completely sort myself out. Enrico is a miracle worker! I was in a terrible car accident several months ago and sprained my neck and back. I started coming to Enrico in June and he has really helped to relieve some of my pain. I have been seeing Enricho for many years now (7+) and I am always happy/satisfied when we are done. It all started when I had sciatic nerve issues running down my leg. Unlike other therapists I have seen he listens to you when you are explaining your concerns and will focus on those areas and often finds other tight/sore areas that are contributing to the issue. After helping me with my nerve, I now go to him whenever I have tightness/pain or concerns with my mobility. Other massage therapists I have seen will hear your concerns, but still do their set routine they have learned and not spend time on helping alleviate the issue. He is good at getting into those problem areas and getting you loose. He makes sure his clients are feeling good and getting benefit from seeing him, he truly cares. I agree with the comment below that is a gentle/deep/strong massage you will get and it is a difficult balance which he manages well.
