Don is an absolute wizard who has completely changed my life. i came to him after experiencing whiplash symptoms after a car accident and after just a few sessions had completely realigned my body and more importantly had gained a much more profound understanding of my physiology. My experience with Don Ferreira-McCusker has been one of healing and restoration. His knowledge and understanding of the human body has brought me back to a place of health and wholeness. Incredible - first Rolfer I have managed to find with so much knowledge and understanding of the human body and muscles and of course facia. I have been dealing with an extremely aggressive case of plantar fasciitis for over a year now, and I've been unable to run for 7 months. Hard to know how to start my review since everyone else before me has pretty much summed up the amazing experience that I too received. I only had 3 visits with Don so far but I already feel a tremendous improvement in all areas of my injuries. First I fell off of a motorcycle resulting in a really bad hamstring injury and a dislocated rotator cuff in my left leg and shortly before that injury I fell off of a bicycle landing on my right hip. As a result of these injuries I had constant pain in my left leg, buttocks, hamstring and ended up with a pretty bad postural alignment. I used two Chiropractors to do some initial adjustments but Don's additional muscle work has really enhanced and taken the recovery to another level. This is long overdue! But I just referred another person to Don & realized I never left a review for his amazing treatment! I had a car accident in 2018. I saw several different PTs, some of the best in LA. I also had PRP injections (twice) in both my hip & shoulder, where my pain was after the accident. All of these things helped but none of them completely solved my problem. I finally went to Don & he knew instantly where the pain was originating from & treated an area that no one else had even considered, & my pain was gone after 1 treatment. I continued & did a full series of 10 treatments because I've heard that a true Rolfing plan is 10 treatments. Don is truly one of a kind, a true Hollywood 'miracle worker' (and yes, he hates being called that). I literally come in from Zurich Switzerland to have him work on my shoulder - because after he does, I'm realigned and pain free for the next year or even two.
