I had a deck that was falling apart. It was sagging and leaning. It was completely unusable and unsafe. I had stopped using the deck for over a year. Nashville Lawn and Order came to Iowa, tore down my old unsafe deck and transported the wreckage to the dump. Once the dust had settled, Jamie and Rob rebuilt the deck completely from the dirt up. Because I'm on a very fixed budget on SS, they made sure the rebuild was very affordable. My deck is beautiful. Jamie and Rob were always pleasant and kept me informed of the work they were doing. Buyer beware! They are NOT professional deck builders! It was evident they wanted to get through the job as fast as possible, with no attention to quality or adherence to basic construction standards and building codes. The deck is not even built with square corners / consistent measurements. We were completely left high and dry, out thousands of dollars for undelivered and unusable materials, to finish the deck ourselves. After multiple delays starting, they finally started late, only to get 2 days in and not show up again to complete the work. After a month of waiting for them to return, we fired them and had to finish the deck ourselves, having to replace/redo/rebuy much of what was there due to poor quality, poor materials and poor craftsmanship. Multiple delays, multiple excuses, no communication... buyer beware. read more

Nashville Lawn and Order built me my DREAM DECK. I had this vision to expand our backyard outdoor-space by building a huge deck that expanded the length of our home. It was a major project so I did a lot of research, received multiple quotes from different companies, and interviewed/met with different individuals to share my vision. I am SO glad and grateful I found Nashville Lawn and Order and chose them to build our deck! Tucker & Jamie were incredible to work with. These men are VERY knowledgable, experienced, kind-hearted, fair, communicative, reliable, professional, and trustworthy. Their integrity is refreshing, their quality of work is amazing, and their wisdom, insight, "ways to save $$$, without slacking on quality/value" was relieving, and their expertise and service is invaluable. OTHER companies that I had previously met with made me feel uncomfortable due to the lack of communication, or exorbitant prices, or unprofessionalism etc. But NOT THESE GUYS. Nashville Lawn and Order are the cream of the crop. Again, Tucker & Jamie were to the utmost, very reliable, timely, communicative, informative, fairly and reasonably priced, offering me the most bang-for-my-buck, were obviously highly skilled, experts, not only knowledgable but also able to educate and articulate clearly to me the building process and able to answer all of my questions. I appreciate their intentionality to keep me informed and included during the entire process from start to finish. So I injured my back a few weeks ago, the same day that I planned to pressure wash my house and driveway. With my injury, there was no way I could do any work...I could barely move. I submitted a request for quotes from companies via Yelp to no avail. Everyone was busy. Nashville Lawn and Order was busy as well, but was willing to squeeze me in because they were in the area. Yay!!! They did a phenomenal job pressure washing my house and driveway. It hadn't been done for 3 years . After they finished, the house looked brand new...all of the black and green stuff was gone. The driveway looked amazing as well. They offered to seal the driveway, but I wanted to do it myself once my back healed. They gave me great advice on what products to purchase and how to apply it, as this was my first time. I took their advice and the sealed driveway looks amazing!
