Wow - I couldn't disagree more with most of these reviews. I've been a patient of Comprehensive…read morePain Management for just about 15 years and I can't speak highly enough of them! They've ALWAYS been professional and have treated me compassionately throughout the entire time I've been seen by them. I have chronic low back pain due to three different diagnoses in the same 3 vertebrae and it took quite a while to find a way to manage my pain appropriately. Unfortunately, pain meds were the only method that worked - UNTIL I did a trial of a Nevro HFX neurostimulator. That worked beautifully and I now have had one permanently implanted and am tapering off my pain meds. All thanks to Dr. Schwartzman and the staff at the Warwick office of Comprehensive Pain Management. People do need to remember that ALL pain management clinics are under constant scrutiny by both state and federal agencies - pain meds are VERY highly restricted - for good reason! Prescriptions are restricted to 30 days max NOT by these doctors, but by RI law. And all the "rules" required to be followed if you ARE prescribed pain meds are spelled out in a pain contract that you're required to review and sign annually (standard practice by any doctor prescribing opiates - it was required by my old pain medicine practice, too!)- so it should never be a shock to be asked for a urine sample! That's very plainly spelled out in the contract! Just make sure you don't "go" before you head to the office for your appointment - it's not that hard to deal with. I've been doing it for 15 years! I've NEVER been treated like a drug seeker or an addict - maybe because my pill counts are ALWAYS accurate and my drug screens always show exactly what they're supposed to. If you're looking to get high, don't bother coming here. If you're looking for compassionate treatment for a long-term pain issue, this is where I've found it and I highly recommend Comprehensive Pain Management.

I see that you have been suffering in pain for twenty years. Let me run some tests on you. NOTHING I could see that this appointment was going nowhere. I stood up and I told her I am standing before you telling you that I am an agonizing pain every day. I'm telling you me the person that lives in this body. I got my pocketbook, and I went out the back door before I even got to the back. Door the girl Kim says don't slam the door in a very cocky voice. I said to myself in my head, why would I slam a door I opened the door I closed it. And the door slams, so make sure you don't slam that door because they set you up like that. There, that's why it's even in the literature that you have to fill out prior when I was filling all the paperwork out prior I said, Gee. Follow language, why would somebody use that slamming doors? Why would somebody slam a door it's a setup i just quouts to file a complaint. I feel like calling the news actually.. How pain medicine doctors can treat patients with not one piece of compassion. It's beyond me.. Do not waste your time and go to this place. They don't care about you
