When I moved, I wanted my HVAC system checked out to make sure I understood what I was dealing with. You all know HVAC systems can cost an arm and a leg, and I did not want to be caught by surprise. Their sticker was on the furnace, so I figured I would give them a call. I assumed they either installed it or were responsible for the maintenance, so having a unit history was vital to me. Every person I talked to was friendly and compassionate about my concerns when I called. They immediately set up an appointment. The best thing about the appointment was they asked me when I was available. In my experience, companies tell you what days they have available. If you have ever read any of my reviews, you know how big I am on customer service. The initial experience will undoubtedly keep me loyal. They came out and did a complete check-out of the system, made some suggestions regarding the outside unit to keep the coils clean, and recommended signing up for their comfort membership plan. I opted to give the membership a try, and I have not been disappointed. They have been consistent with keeping my HVAC system checked out over the year as we change from heat to air. On this most recent visit, Caleb K. checked out the system. He noticed my drain line in the attic had a dip instead of a constant downward grade. We all know what happens when water collects and cant flow. It could have had the potential to back up and cause a water leak. Another thing, during the winter service, the technician noticed that my pan float switch appeared to be damaged and not working. He replaced it with no problem. This company does not respect its customers time. Most service companies give you a two hour window for service this one gave me a four hour window but still did not show up. I had to contact them 20 minutes after the four hours had expired only to be told that the technician was delayed for at least another hour. I was given the option of having the tech show up at some point after 6:30 pm, taking more time off from work or give up my time for their services on a Saturday. read more

We have a service plan with Stewart Pro. Alex came out first and found our refridgeant or whatever was low. He showed us on hsi meter. He stayed quite awhile to answer our questions and to tell us options as we probably have a leak. He accidentally left off the special screws so people don't steal it. Called back and Marco was able to come out that day to help us put them back on and he stayed to answer more questions Then, we had Alex come to give us a quote and no trying to upsell and was great at answering questions. There's a call out charge of $75. I was told what the problem was and what the price would be, however my unit was warranty covered. Stuart can highly recommended, were very swift & the techs were really nice and professional. My only qualm is the labor charge! 2 hours labor $993.00. I did query as it was covered with the warranty and I was told on the phone that they normally charge $647 per hour and that pricing for jobs goes through a third party company!! Don't get me wrong I'm extremely happy to have air conditioning again, but it's way too pricey, should have shopped around but unfortunately when you're desperate and you've paid the call out fee to diagnose the problem you feel you're already invested & committed. read more

When I did speak to someone last night he was firm and was like look at this time we would charge you 150 to just come out. I said that's fine no issues. He said ok someone will call you. We had to call Stuart due to our thermostats going out on our new construction. It was a warranty call, but they came very promptly. Mario was my tech and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He ensured not to dirty my home, was quick and responsive. Our issue with our thermostats ended up not being Stuart Pro's issue and their service fee is $75.00. Mario said that he would not be charging me due to him and me not knowing if it was their issue or another electrical issue with our system until he looked into the problem. We started the Stuart Pro Heating & Air preventive maintenance program this spring. The service was very thorough and informative for me. Last month the main HVAC in our house stopped cooling. The service man found problems with the evaporator and the compressor. The unit was very old and we chose to replace it. We got several bids and Stuart Pro was the best. We recently purchased a new home and needed to replace once of the A/C units. Johnny @ Stuart Pro met us out at the house and gave us a quote with several different options. We had to reschedule a few times, but they had availability every time we had to move the date. The day of the install, the guys were very nice and respectful of our home. The front office/scheduling staff (specifically Marissa) lacks customer service etiquette/skills. I requested that a manager contact me months ago when I had a similar experience with this company. I've never been contacted. It appears as though customer service and satisfaction are not an important factor in their day to day operations. I wonder is their business motto is let's make money and forget everything else. Customers = your business/livelihood or maybe not. I'm very disappointed with the service I've received from Stuart Pro. We are currently under warranty for our HVAC unit that you installed on our new construction home. We called last Thursday to notify you that our unit wasn't cooling properly (home's temperatures were reaching 80+ degrees). Your company couldn't send out a tech until that Saturday. Tech came out and said there was double the amount of needed refrigerant in the unit, which can lead to serious damage. He pumped out excess Freon and changed the air filter. The unit has continued to malfunction since. I called back Monday when the office opened and someone came out Tuesday. He said he couldn't help us because our home was having the insulation replaced. However, he also said the unit was functioning fine. He said give it a week or two and call back or get a hotel. Take note, we have an infant and young toddler being forced to live in these hot temperatures. We don't have days much less weeks to spare. We called back again Tuesday to schedule another appointment and the first opening was today, Friday. The tech came out and said nothing was wrong with the unit and all levels were good. Obviously, it's not working because the unit gets to 80+ degrees everyday in the afternoon/evening. That's not what a functioning, newer unit does. Also, this was not an issue last summer or even two weeks ago, so what's changed? Both my husband and I have been trying to call the manager since this morning and no one's returning our calls or messages. Therefore, it looks like we'll be spending the weekend in uncomfortable, stifling heat again. I would appreciate a phone call back asap because this is affecting my family's health. My young infant is struggling to sleep at night. I understand we're not a "paying customer" since we're under warranty, but we've definitely been made to feel we're uncared for and not a priority at all. Management, if you see this, please return our calls and messages. We'd appreciate any help at this point. read more

Here we were with out of town guests and as it neared the end of the day one of the guests noted that the ac was running but it was 85 upstairs. Not knowing if there was a 24 hr service available I called Stuart Pro Air. The call center said they would get the order out. This was at 8:40 pm. At 9:50 pm Francisco shows up at the door after a very nice call at 9:30 to say he was 20 minutes away. Did I mention this was Saturday night? He arrived and began diagnostics. Soon after it was evident that the condenser motor was dead. He had a replacement on the truck. Francisco was a true professional as he worked diligently to make sure every detail of his work was properly and neatly done. At midnight I was signing an invoice and our guest were headed to bed in a cool room. Thank you Stuart Pro Air......the best!!! Buyer Beware I used them for my hvac needs because they were the ones who originally installed the units for my builder. My issue: nothing they fix seems to last. After my upstairs unit had issues I purchased their service agreement to get a discount on that bill. My unit is only 4 years old. Every time they came for a service they found something wrong and had to do another repair. This means additional money. Then the original repair that they performed last year broke 1 year to the date. (Last night) I've been living in GA all my life and I know I am not supposed to see my HVAC repairman this much. I also know the repairs they make should last more than a year. Finally (*insert mystery music here*)I wouldn't be surprised to find out they were tampering with the units to drum up business. Anytime they visit my neighbor something goes on with mine within the week. I even asked the guy about it once. All he did was giggle. It could be that they are the same age or it could be something else. The fact that they have such high turnover rates and such short lasting repairs makes me suspicious. read more

Great office service. Prompt appointment. Jameson the diagnostic senior technician diagnosed a problem with my AC that I believe was overlooked and patched by the original AC installer of my new townhome. Jameson gave a detailed report to myself and my husband on the phone in addition to a written copy. He also spoke with the builder's project manager to discuss his findings. I was advised the part had to be ordered and was given an estimate of when to expect installation. read more

The technicians they sent out were very nice, although I would absolutely warn against the so-called 'comfort plan' of planned spring/fall maintenance. The spring inspection on our unit (which was supposed to make sure we were "ready for the first day of summer") somehow failed to test if the the AC was working, and hence when it got hot and we tried to turn on the AC the unit wasn't blowing cold air. When I complained about this to management, they said that we could either pay for ANOTHER technician to come out, or use up our fall inspection appointment. Some year-round service. What a rip off! Also, they only offer 15% off labor and parts with the comfort plan, as opposed to other companies which offer 20% off labor and parts (like Central Air Heat and Air, who we are now with). Our renovator used Stuart so we went with them too, but I'm sorry to say that I can't recommend them for an average homeowner. Maybe if you're a builder and they need your business they'll be more flexible, but for the little guy? You're better off with another company. read more

Had an issue with a guest bedroom being significantly warmer than my other rooms. I reached out since it was a new construction and under warranty. The tech said that because it was the front of the house, that room would always be hotter. I called again after speaking to a different HVAC company, and Stuart wanted to charge $75 since my warranty just expired. Very poor customer service. I needed a replacement part for a mini-split that was under warranty. (Only 14 months old, and originally installed by Stuart Pro). They quoted me $1,300 to replace the outdoor unit/ part and refused to simply order the part and allow me to have someone else install it. Additionally, when they came out to "diagnose" the problem, their guy quoted over $500 to clean the unit?!!!! (It was never properly "diagnosed" and took a second repairman to come out and look at it..) This company was completely unreasonable. read more

Had them come out because office was not heating up and to fix a vent in the attic that had become disconnected. Their tech said the gas was turned off and he had to turn it on and do a expensive "purge" to get the gas to come through the lines. What a joke. Atlanta was just at the office days earlier to turn on the gas and even left a notice that they did. Moreover our manager went to the meter to make sure it was on. It was. Obviously he didn't even go to the attic and he certainly didn't perform a "purge" procedure. They had a supervisor come out the next day. The problem ended up being that disconnected vent blowing all the heat into the attic space. He fixed the vent and heat worked fine. No credit was given for the expensive "purge" procedure or for any fees that "weren't" performed by the incompetent tech. read more

They came out for maintenance plan and instructed me to turn off HVAC unit two hours before appointment. Day before appointment they called to see if I could move from my morning appointment to a 1-5 afternoon slot. I agreed and they arrived promptly at 8:30pm. The house was a balmy 83° with a ton child at home and me unable to cook dinner because I didn't want the house getting any hotter. He came out, checked everything, said we were good to go. The next evening my unit was frozen. I called again. They only had 1-5 time available and I complained enough they sent out two technicians within an hour. They checked the system, said we were all good. Within 24 hours the unit was frozen again. I called after when they were supposed to be open and am still waiting on a return call. This service plan gives me a 15% discount on parts and labor but its not worth the headache. I've decided to go with a service plan with another company. Maybe if they hired people who had some experience I wouldn't be sitting in a warm house. The technicians or kids that they have sent out have done nothing to ensure my unit stays working. Town house was built November 2018. Our first time attempting to use the air conditioner the air would not come on. Since the home was completed during the winter months we had no idea that the unit was inoperable. Unfortunately, the brand new air conditioner installed by Stuart Pro Air Services does not work. Air blows through the vents, but the outdoor compressor unit does not come on. The house remains 85 degrees. It is a warranty call due to the home only being 4.5 months old. This company gives terrible service. They stated they can not come out to fix the issue until Wednesday. My family will have to suffer in 85 degree internal temps indoors. The construction manager came over and said "yes it is hot in here". We could not even sleep last night. Stuart Pro's commercial states emergency service, but that is misleading with the time frame they have given my family. It's also sad that a brand new install does not work. This clearly show their company does not perform quality control. There was not a quality check done to see if the unit was operable. I would not recommend this company for new construction installs. read more

We had an A/C unit go out and had the service company we contracted come and take a look at it. They gave us an outrageous price for a bottom-of-the-line replacement. We checked dozens of companies and once we settled on Stuart Pro Air we were absolutely thrilled with our decision. They sent a sales rep out the next day, agreed to work with us on payment options and the two techs they sent out were incredibly well-trained, professional and polite. We setup the install the following week and they did it in half a day while carting off the old unit. We could not be more pleased. We even had an issue with one of the vents and they sent the technician back the same day who politely fixed it within a few minutes. You get the feeling that in Atlanta most people don't use Yelp, and those that do only use it to voice complaints. They've been in business since 1997 and only have 4 reviews so there's likely more positive experiences than negative ones. I highly recommend Juan and Stuart Air Pro! read more

I had been using Stuart Pro Air Services since 2008, Only because I was given their business card from the builder of my home and Stuart Pro installed the air conditioning unit. I have had nothing but problems with this unit from day one . I was constantly calling them because my air conditioning was going out all the time . I actually thought that this company had my best interest , but I was so wrong. I was only a "cash cow" to them. I have bought 2 motors, 2 capacitors, had to add many pounds of freon, blower wheels, and a host of other parts. Everything I called the office , a different technician would come out and tell me I needed to buy more parts. The final straw for me was April 27, 2016, when my air conditioning unit stopped working again and the technician came out and told me I needed to just get another unit. I was not happy to hear this considering all of the money I'VE spent with Stuart Pro Air Services. I called and set up an appointment with a sales rep named R . Westmoreland for the 9th of May 2016. This guy came out to my house and sat at my kitchen table and looked through all of my invoices from his company and was amazed at how many different parts I had bought since 2008. He told me that he was sorry that I had gone through so much with the air conditioning unit and he was ginger to go back to the office and have all of my history pulled and he and his boss would go through everything and get back with me about what could be done about saving me some money on a new air conditioning unit. I was such a fool, because I believed R. Westmoreland was concerned about me as a loyal customer. I waited to hear from him, but the call never came. I called the Stuart Pro Air office on 25 May 2016 and spoke to Melissa. I told her I was calling to speak to R. Westmoreland and she told me that he was on vacation. I told her he told me that he was going to contact me. She then told me that she was aware of my issue and that she was the one that pulled my file. Melissa assured me that someone would call me back. Well, fast forward , no one called me at all. I was shocked that this company didn't care enough about me as a customer to even call me back. On 1 July 2016, I called and spoke to Olivia and I told her that I was cancelling my contract. I would never use Stuart Air Pro Services again. I am sorry that I wasted my time and money for so long with them. I would never recommend them to anyone I know for air and heat issues. My son has been trying to get his AC fixed, new home, unit installed my these guys, for over month. Multiple visits, mostly late. Finally on 3rd visit they "think" they know what the problem is... Now they have failed to show again. Still waiting at 8:59pm for an appointment in the 3 - 7pm window. Service manager finally called back at 7:20 to say some one would be there in 30 to 45 minutes. Still waiting. Can't get a call back, completely non-responsive, as bad a company as I have ever dealt with. In my opinion don't use them if you don't have to, period. By the way, I have asked for two days for a simple phone call and explanation before writing this review -- they simply don't care about their customers. I had my comfort maintenance plan worked by Tech Waylon on 5/26/16. He called ahead, when on-site, and when leaving with a detailed report on what he did. Stuart Mechanical Services installed my system when my house was built and I have been with them ever since. I have only had a couple of emergency calls but when I did they came out quickly and I got a discount since I have the PM agreement program. We were contacted by the company to schedule our fall service in January. We scheduled the appointment and waited all day but no one showed up. When we called we were told someone would be out by 5pm. Someone finally called at 5:45 to say the tech would be out in 20 to 30 minutes. Over an hour later no one showed. Bought a brand new house in May 2019, moved in to a non-working unit and since then they have been out to repair our air or heat a total of five times IN 10 months on a brand new house and system and still now we find out since turning on the air with the weather warming up that it is again not working they came out once last week and couldn't figure it out they are due again tomorrow to try to figure it out. they really should have replaced the unit and yet here we are still waiting on repairs that never last and never fix it! our old house Had a 30 year-old unit we only had serviced twice while living there in 10 years!! I am so unhappy with the service of this company. Since everything is still under warranty you would have thought when they couldn't find a leak multiple times but continue to need to charge our unit that they would realize it needs to be replaced so that we have an actual functioning AC unit instead of us having to call them every time we turn it back on! read more

Over the past 3 months, I noticed my main floor HVAC system was not working properly. The first time a tech came out back in January he assured my husband and I that our system was working properly. We dismissed the issue after contacting our builder, but our main floor being cold especially in the evening when the temperature dropped and we needed to turn on the heat. Fast forward, 3 months later, Spring is here and we noticed the same floor was not cooling down with the AC turned on. At this point, I requested this issue be escalated to management in the service department. I quickly received a service appointment that worked well for my schedule. Mario, the field supervisor, arrived to my home and quickly diagnosed the issue. Unfortunately, we do have to wait a week to fix the issue due to the part being unavailable. In addition, Mario recommended the service plan to keep my systems working properly year round. I highly recommend using this company! read more

A year ago, we bought a new home that had 2 Trane systems installed by Stuart Pro Air Services. We signed up for the annual maintenance plan and just had our first service appointment today. Very impressed with our technician Bradley who was knowledgeable and very customer-oriented. We've always had HVAC maintenance plans on our homes and Bradley performed a very comprehensive check-up just like we expected. We needed to replace our 14 year old A/C system due to a freon leak and can no longer be repaired due to no parts available. We called Stuart Pro to get an estimate on replacing the unit. Nathan on the sales staff did an excellent job. He arrived on time and called ahead to make sure I would be there. He took the time to really look the house over to make sure he was recommending the right system. He was very patient and answered all my questions especially when I was comparing quotes from competitors. We decided to go with Stuart to replace this system and also to add zoning into the house and to replace the furnace with a furnace with a variable speed fan. Mark and Jerry came out the day of the install promptly and on time. They did a very professional job and were very thorough and professional. They cleaned up well after they finished. The whole job took them most of the day but the results were amazing once they were done. The house has never felt so good. We can even set our thermostats higher than we did before and still be comfortable. We may need an extra vent installed our son's bedroom that we will have Stuart Pro do if we decide to do it. read more
